New in PJ Media:
Leftists have been covering themselves with shame ever since Operation Epic Fury began, shedding copious tears for poor old Ayatollah Khamenei, but one prominent leftist and alleged Christian has gone way beyond that.
The sympathy for Khamenei springs from numerous wellsprings: he hated America, just as leftists do. He hated Trump and wanted him dead, just as leftists do. He hated Israel and wanted to see it destroyed, just as leftists do. He loved Islam, just as leftists do. He was deeply intolerant of dissent, just as leftists are. All this made the Iranian top dog one of the left’s favorite world leaders, and so when he was killed, and killed on the initiative of the Trump administration, no less, the leftist grief was immediate, deep, and sincere.
Over on Threads, Mark Zuckerberg’s far-left imitation of Elon Musk’s X, opera singer Manna K. Jones wrote: “Dear Iran, I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry… Signed, A Black American Woman.” Even for Threads, this was a bit much, and the reaction was swift. The first comment underneath Jones’ post read: “Iranian here, please mind your own business! We’re celebrating today.” Another added: “Iranian here; don’t be [sorry;] we’ve been asking for liberation from the brutal Islamic dictatorship for a while. You just happen to be loud and uninformed.” And a third: “Iranian woman here. Why are you sorry? We prayed for this. We are celebrating. This is what we wanted and we thank the president for doing it.”
As time went on, numerous American leftists chimed in to support Manna K. Jones in her sorrow over Orange Man Bad and to rebuke the Iranians for daring to be happy over something the hated Convicted Felon in the Tastelessly Redecorated Oval Office did, but ultimately, the ridiculous project proved impossible to sustain even on Threads. Manna K. Jones took down her original post, without explanation or further comment.
Others, however, stuck to their, er, guns. A clown calling himself “Richie Eyebrows” wrote: “Dear Iran, On behalf of all Americans that believe in what this country was founded on — we didn’t want this. I’m so sorry.” Like Manna K. Jones, “Richie Eyebrows” was inundated with responses from people who found his kneejerk leftist Trump-hatred unjustifiable under the circumstances. One wrote: “You’re sad the man who has killed over 40,000 of his own people in two months is dead? Get bent.” Another said of “Richie”: “If Trump killed Hitler, he’d be apologizing to Jews living in Germany.” Indeed.
Meanwhile, a Jan. 2026 hot take from far-left “journalist” Stephen Beschloss on X was getting wide circulation on Threads after the death of Khamenei: “No matter how long I live after we get through this dark chapter,” Beschloss wrote sagely, “I will never get over the immorality, the amorality, the corruption, the criminality and the cruelty in service to one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth.”
There is more. Read the rest here.

The Left can feel whatever they like, but the apologies to Iran/Iranian people are ludicrous, given the celebrations of Khamenei’s death everywhere in Iran and internationally everywhere in the Iranian diaspora. If they want to apologize, here is a more appropriate list of people for them to apologize to:
⮞ IRGC/Basij
⮞ Hizbullah
⮞ Kataeb Hizbullah (Iraq)
⮞ Ansar allah (Yemen)
In other words, apologize to the people who are at least mourning the death, as opposed to people who are celebrating it every day since Saturday

The Left are traditional traitors and unpatriotic oikophobes to their own countries and cultures. That is why they can make common cause with Islam.

Here are several questions for leftists:
1. This regime murdered thousands of leftists. Don’t you care about them?
2. If you’re going to defend an ultra-conservative religious regime, what does it even mean to be a leftist? I was on the left for while, but the last thing I had in mind was supporting religious conservatives.
3. Why didn’t Obama or Biden do what Trump has done? Trump is now getting the credit for what they should have done.
4. Yes or no, are you in favor of the liberation of Iranian women? You seem to be against it. Why?
5. Have you thought about how you have ended up supporting a regime that most Iranians hated? Has it not occurred to you that you are living in a bubble that has little contact with the outside world?

You make good points, but the last phrase I’d use in describing Iran’s jihadists would be “religious conservatives”. More accurately, they were islamic supremacists, and two things ought to be noted about them:
⮞ islam falls more in the intersection of a geopolitical ideology like communism and a cult like Branch Davidian. Those are the entities that islam should be equated w/, not Christianity or Judaism
⮞ “Conservative” would not be an accurate description for them, since even conservatives have certain red lines when it comes to religious and cultural issues, but beyond that, they are generally “live-and-let-live” people. For instance, conservatives would support the religious rights of people to pray at public events or celebrate Christmas as Christmas, but would not, for example, enforce fasting during Lent or do anything similar. “Reactionary” or better yet, “Retrograde” would be a better term to describe them
But like I pointed out yesterday, there are good reasons for Leftists to be anti-islamic w/o embracing the Right at all – islam’s treatment of women, gays, their attitudes on slavery, animals and so on. One could be a pure socialist (though not communist) but still be anti-islam and be consistent w/ one’s own principles

Nothing surprises me about Leftists any longer because Leftism is a mental deficiency if not an outright mental illness. Recalling my boyhood when I read lots of Superman comics (and that was when Superman still stood for truth, justice and the American way, comic books being yet something else the Left has ruined as they ruin everything), Leftists most definitely remind me of the inhabitants on the square planet of Bizarro World. Yep, they get everything backwards, upside down and plain wrong.

Wellington,
I would classify true leftism (not JFK liberalism) as a mental illness.
And George Reeves will always be my favorite Superman.

It’s amazing how many people purport to speak for others.
And this: regarding treason by ilhan elmi, the somali snake., fraudulently omar
“Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said he was “suspicious” that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) might have committed treason by leaking President Donald Trump’s plan to strike Iranian leadership, many of whom are now dead.
On Tuesday, Sen. Johnson spoke to MAGA influencer Benny Johnson on a broadcast titled, “Ilhan Omar LEAKED U.S. Military Attack Plans to IRAN — Treason?”
Benny Johnson alleged that Omar “leaked” Operation Epic Fury to Iran through a post on X four days before the strikes. In the post, the Minnesota Democrat said that it was “sickening to know that the US is again going to attack Iran during Ramadan.”
“Ilhan Omar told Iran exactly when we would attack,” the MAGA influencer said. “She did it in public. And it begs of the question, what did she know? When did she know it?”
“I can’t find any other tweets from any other members of Congress staying with such precise certitude when we’re going to attack Iran,” he added before introducing Ron Johnson. “Let’s jump on over to our senator. Ladies and gentlemen, Senator Ron Johnson, locked and loaded and ready to go. Is Ilhan Omar a traitor?”
“And given the fact that Rubio and the CIA director had just briefed the gang of eight about our war plans, you know, I mean, it just seems Iran — I just see the timing just seems very strange to me, and extremely reckless, of course, Americans have now died in this conflict, and it bothers us.”
Sen. Johnson agreed: “Well, it is suspicious. I certainly don’t trust the Congresswoman.”
“You know, it’s one of the reasons that we’ve given — the Constitution gives the President of the United States the authority over these foreign affairs and quite honestly kind of military action,” the senator continued. “You cannot brief Congress and expect to hold or have war plans held confidential. They’re going to leak.”
“You’re going to have people that might be traitors that way.”
