Joy Reid says U.S. oppresses women even more than the Islamic Republic of Iran does

Joy Reid says that women are being oppressed in America because of restrictions on “abortion rights” that she wildly exaggerates, as she does everything else in this wildly fanciful statement. Women aren’t being kicked out of the military or of universities simply for being female. No state is implementing a death penalty for getting an abortion. The U.S. doesn’t have “secret police,” although the CIA and FBI are wildly out of control and should be shut down.

She claims that women are being oppressed in the U.S. “for Christianity,” while in Iran, it’s being done “for Islam.” Nothing is done in American public life “for Christianity,” even restrictions on abortion, which is fully legal most everywhere. She clearly has no idea what life is really like for women in the Islamic Republic, and should move there and find out.

  4. Whether or not killing your own offspring in its gestation stage, rather than taking responsibility for a life you have initiated, is a “right”, is still open for discussion. Humaneness in that matter might still find someone to speak for it.

  5. Poor woman, intensely unhappy, aggressive, ran off her advertisers, unable to enjoy her life, yet freely demanding that women should become like her – miserable. She seems ready for the Muslima Experience.

    Even the Leftist media(and advertisers) can’t afford a steady diet of her death-spiral cynicism. To borrow from George Carlin, she is a, “disappointed idealist”, who hasn’t come to terms that the idealism was dead wrong.

    She reminds me of Iran’s Regime, whining because the Muslim “brother” nations didn’t come to their rescue after causing so much trouble and embarrassment.

    This creature…misnamed Joy….is not worth the air she breathes, yet believes she is worth more than 70 million plus tiny humans, lamenting that some babies might be saved from gruesome deaths….ripped apart, skulls crushed, suffocated by salt…..and because some are being saved from this torture and death, the ghouls of iran are treating the women there “better”?

    Some day this joyless creature will reap I pray for that day when she realizes the Truth of what Jesus said about little children. She sill has the time and the “right” to choose to do good as opposed to the evil she now advocates.

  7. I wonder if she has ever asked any Iranian women what they think about that. Probably not. Just like with the “transgender” movement – they force women to share their bathroom and shower with men, but no one had the courtesy to ask these women what they thought about that.

    • The reid creature is not the type to ask questions like that. She has the idea that she knows it all, no need to ask. She only asked questions when trying to trip up someone she already knew disagreed with her.
      She is no reporter and no ‘host’ either. Just a lying, know-nothing loudmouth racist. who advocates for murdering innocent babies.

      If she asked any devout Christian, “What do you want for me?” she would be told Truthfully, “eternal life with the blessings Jesus promised.”
      If she asked any muzzie the same question, and that muzzie told her the Truth, he’d say he wanted to shed her blood, make her convert, or pay extortion until he tired of raping her; or something akin to that.

    Joy says for the money that is supporting her. She appears to be a person who will use her position to say anything that pays her money. She doesn’t want to live somewhere else, she’d be irrelevant.

  18. If joyless Reid feels so “oppressed” in America ,what is “oppression ” to a rich progressives like Joyless Reid? Disagreeing to in debate that maybe they are wrong by presenting other opinions in peaceful debates? Does having open public debate like Charlie Kirk warrant assassination ? Being a millionaire she can live in a gated community in America or move to any country she feels is less oppressive to her .I do not think if she moved to an Islamic majority country anywhere in the world she would feel safe from death if she spoke out against it. There where a lot of communist ,leftist ,homosexuals ,and other hanging from canes in 1979 when Iran went full sharia .Over 35 thousand Iranians where gunned down in the street by the present Iranian government for just voicing peacefully their opinion on the government just weeks ago .The track record of oppression in Iran for the last 47 years is well documented . She can move to anywhere in Europe ,Asia ,or even Africa with the wealth she made in America peddling her nonsense. Many a present day Iranian living in Iran would gladly trade places with even without the wealth see have accumulate being as obtuse, winey ,spiritually and physical ugly person.
