A maritime conflict would be a critical blow to global energy supplies. Yet despite the Islamic Republic’s bravado, we discover this in a followup report:
Trump stated that Iran fired exactly 101 highly sophisticated missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln. Despite the unprecedented scale of the attack, the US Navy confirmed that every single projectile was successfully intercepted and knocked down into the Arabian Sea.
The USS Abraham Lincoln is one of the largest warships in the world. Iran also targeted it unsuccessfully in early March, and the attack accomplished nothing. At any given moment, the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier is surrounded by a shield of destroyers.
Despite naysayers and panicked reviews of the war on Iran, the New York Times (of all anti-Trump publications), published a surprising piece: The War Is Going Better Than You Think. It concluded:
If past generations could see how well this war has gone compared with the ones they were compelled to fight at a frightening cost, they would marvel at their posterity’s comparative good fortune. They would marvel, too, at our inability to appreciate the advantages we now possess.
“Iran ‘strikes’ USS Abraham Lincoln after Navy commander’s ‘under constant surveillance’ warning,” WION News, March 25, 2026:
Iran claims to have launched cruise missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln following warnings of constant surveillance. The US has not yet responded, heightening fears of direct maritime conflict.
Tensions in the Gulf escalated sharply on Wednesday (March 25) after Iran’s military claimed it launched coastal cruise missiles targeting the US Navy’s aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), while warning of more attacks if the vessel moves within range of its missile systems.
In a statement, the Iranian Army’s public relations office said its forces had targeted the carrier strike group with coastal cruise missiles. The announcement did not specify the extent of damage or whether the missiles reached their intended target.
The development comes amid heightened confrontation in the strategic waters of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, a region critical to global energy supplies….
Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, commander of the Iranian Navy, said the US carrier group is under constant surveillance and would face “crushing strikes” if it enters the operational range of Iranian missile systems. “Iranian naval forces are closely monitoring the movements of the Abraham Lincoln, and any hostile presence within missile range will be met with overwhelming force,”….

They’re now happily using AI to “prove” to their own supporters that the war is going better for the islamic regime than they think. Wonder how that will work when more of them fall

President should take the Iranian Oil Revenue as payment for the American costs of the war. The Winner takes ALL, and the Loser pays. Islam’s Muslims are a continuous, terrorist threat to all Non-Muslims as taught in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc.). Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”
Muslims are at war with Non-Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day[Non-Muslims]. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid[via Islamic Law], nor believe in the religion of the truth[Islam] among those who have given the book[Jews and Christians] until they pay the jizyah[Extortion Payment] out of hand and they are subdued[disgraced].”

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the Rear Admiral who made these claims has been killed. So, the next person in line will receive the same if threats or actual missile launches are performed.

It was Tangsiri, the commander of the IRGC Navy who was reported killed. This guy, Irani, is commander of the regular navy.

These aircraft carriers are not as powerful as they used to be due to the new technology like drones. They have to leave these ships 1000 miles from Iran because of this, & the planes that take off have to re-fuel elsewhere.

I certainly hope that the billions of American dollars being spent to make the world safe from a nuclear Iran will be recovered from Iran. We should recover the cost of this action and apply that to the national debt. It seems that in the past only the private contractors that go in and rebuild these countries afterwards benefit.
