They need to keep up the surgical bombing of the IRGC/Basij. Israel is the key and leading the way as they know the place better than anyone else. Trump does not need to put boots on the ground as the Iranian people seem to have more than the will to get rid of the jihadists that took over their country and wealth in 1979, let alone the IRGC/Basij militia that massacred them lately. The Iranian people need to be armed sufficiently to stave off a Basij massacre. These thugs will not be so tough when they encounter return fire. Or the Kurds need to be armed with artillery with close air support from the U.S. or Israel so that we don’t have boots on the ground.

Yeah, that’s a more dangerous long term development. Although looking at Afghanistan and how the Taliban, despite having $89B of our weaponry, can’t defend themselves against Pakistan, I think there is hope for others, even if Britain and France fall. But we definitely need to get out of NATO, or we’ll be finding ourselves treaty-bound to protect islamized countries
