In British Schools, Be Very Careful Not to Offend Muslim Students

The latest hair-raising news from Britain, where officious educational bureaucrats in the north of England have decided that state schools must not teach anything likely to offend Muslim students. And that means a great many subjects will not be taught, and many activities curtailed.

Christine Douglass-Williams wrote about this here, and more on this latest example of stealth Islamization can be found here: “Pupils’ drawings could be blasphemous under Islamic law, Labour councils tell schools – while music and dance classes may go against the teachings of Islam,” by Francine Wolfisz, Daily Mail, March 11, 2026:

No, Islamic culture does not have a “rich artistic tradition.” Compare what it has produced in music, art, dance with what has been produced in Europe, China, and India. Paintings or sculptures of living creatures are strictly forbidden in Islam. Thus, no portraits, no scenes with humans or other living creatures in them, nothing but calligraphic art (far inferior to the calligraphic art practiced in China), some Turkish tulips, landscapes without humans, and geometric designs. Just visit one of the large museums in the Western world, such as the Metropolitan or the Louvre, and compare the pitiful room or two of “Islamic art” and compare with all those other rooms whose exhibits testify to the richness of art from all the non-Islamic civilizations.

‘A three-dimensional imagery of humans is considered idolatrous by some Muslims,’ the guidance warns.

Yes, so there should be no art classes in school that use human models. No study of masterpieces of Western art that would offend Muslim students. No reproductions of art with a religious theme, no study of the Pietà (too Christian) or David (too Jewish) by Michelangelo, the Baptistery doors of Ghiberti, no reproductions of Leonardo’s Mona Lisa (a living creature) or The Last Supper (images of living beings, and Christians too boot), nothing by Piero della Francesca or Chardin or Chagall or Caravaggio, no female nudes by Goya or Matisse or Picasso or Balthus. Non-Muslim students are being forced in northern England to essentially give up studying Western art so as not to offend Muslim classmates whose own artistic culture is pitifully small. But why can’t those Muslim students simply leave the room when the masterpieces of Western art are being taught?

‘It is very important that the school understands this and is also careful not to ask its students to reproduce images of Jesus, Prophet Mohammed or other figures considered to be prophets in Islam.

Now think about that requirement: Muslims must not be offended, so there will be no reproduction of images of Jesus drawn by Christian students. Those students must not draw or paint images of the person, human and divine, who is central to their faith, Jesus the Son of God, because Christians must submit to Muslim strictures. Why should a handful of Muslims be allowed to direct the curriculum for a far greater number of Christian students? And along with the Christians, other non-Muslim parents of schoolchildren — Jews, Hindus, Buddhists — have raised no objections to studying Western art and would, indeed, welcome such study.

‘Some Muslim pupils may not wish to draw the human figure.’

The guidance has been distributed to several schools, including within the local authority of Kirklees where Batley Grammar School is located, The Telegraph reported.

Dance classes will no longer be offered, nor will any dances be allowed to be held at schools in the affected counties in northern England, for they bring together girls and boys, which is haram in Islam. Instead of Muslims simply going to another room while dance instruction is going on, and not attending dances that are put on after school,  the school administrators instead are banning dance instruction and dances from taking place, again denying non-Muslims what used to be a welcome part of their school experience.

The same is happening with music. Strict adherents to the law of Islam believe that all music is to be forbidden. They rely on scholars, citing specific hadith that argue all musical instruments are forbidden because they can distract Believers from thinking about Allah. Strictly vocal music, as long as it does not promote sin or distract from mandatory prayers (salah) can in some instances be allowed.

But just to be on the safe side, in these English schools all music instruction will now be forbidden, lest Muslim students are led astray, perhaps, from their duty to think always about Allah. Music can also lead to immoral behavior. So even though all the Christian families may want such instruction, again they are to be deprived of it because of the putative harm to Muslim students, who must not be offered such a temptation to immorality.

It is not only instruction in music, dance, and art that will be eliminated in these schools, making the curriculum to be imposed on the non-Muslim students much more constrained and uninviting than would be the case if they did not have to submit to the same strictures as Muslim parents demand be imposed on all students. There is also a problem of Muslim students who prove unwilling to study certain subjects. For example, across Europe Muslim students have caused ruckuses when forced to study certain subjects, such as the Crusades, the history of the Jews, the history of Christianity in Europe, and the Nazi murders of six million Jews. The indiscipline that results has led some schools to submit to Muslim demands, and to spend much less time on such subjects or even to remove them altogether from the history curriculum. Such pressures can only grow pari passu with the inexorable growth in the Muslim population — there are now 47 million of them in Europe.

  1. Not only is it not ‘rich in art,’ but muzzies are not any where close to “civilized.” muzzies are goons, ghouls, thugs and outlaws; rapists and murderers.

Aside (a huge aside I grant) that Britain has become absolutely pathetic, it should not be overlooked that were the most devout Muslims to get their way throughout the West such wonders of Western art as Michelangelo’s paintings in the Sistine Chapel would have done to them what the effing asshole Taliban did to Buddhist sculptures in that god-forsaken nation called Afghanistan.

    The suicide of the West continues. Yes it does. And for what? For the evil which is Islam and the stupidity which is Leftthink? And both of these are aided by those who are neither Muslim nor Leftist but steeped in willful ignorance and massive timidity.

  3. Don’t teach astronomy either, the Koran views the Earth as the center of the universe, with the sun & other stars rotating around it. The Koran needs a Reformation with a complete excision of all sharia, jihad, and other primitive concepts.

    • The Koran and all of Islam cannot be reformed anymore than Marxism and Nazism can be reformed and for this reason: All are representative of a totalitarian ideology (N.B., no other major religion is a totalitarian ideology, only Islam) and there is no reforming a totalitarian ideology. As for the Koran specifically, seeking a “Reformation” for it has about as much of a chance as seeking a reformation for Mein Kampf.

        The closest thing to a reformation of Islam was the Baha’i Islamic faith which tried a “new prophet” Baháʼu’lláh, for a milder form. When Khomeini returned to Iran in 1979 he had as many of them killed as possible.

    • Compare to the CHURCH as it transitioned from Medieval to Renaissance time. Galileo was lucky. Bruno was burned at the stake.

    They FEAR muslim parents.

  5. I thought it interesting that the picture above depicted a Buddhist, a Hindu, an Afro/Caribbean and a Sikh. I know Muhammad isn’t supposed to be drawn, but does that ban extend to all mohammedans?

    What’s ironic is that in a British school, there were no pictures in that illustration of English/Scottish/Welsh/Ulster natives nor Christians. Where exactly do these schools think they are?

    I also wonder if it has occurred to anyone that they are essentially erasing English and Western culture.

    Finally, I wonder if they will also consider if something is offensive to Christians and Jews.

The politically correct stealth jihadist infiltrated and strongly influenced public educational school system in the United Kingdom is very careful to have British schools not to offend the Islamic sensitivities of the Muslim students and their parents . Therefore,the British school teachers must “walk of eggshells” not to say or do anything that might be taken as an affront by Muslims. Even if it means being dishonest and giving false information to the school youngsters ,

    Such appeasement to the Islamic powers in the UK at the expense of a genuine education is both sad and tragic.

  9. What happens if a student draws or sculpts a Dinosaur? Islam itself has no scripture defining the age of the earth, most claiming a ~6,000 year age and some accepting the obvious geological age of billions of years.

    The Irish, when they finally wake up, having “The Troubles” history, will likely be the first to violently rebel against Islam and the UK government. Then it will spread to old England and on to the EU. The only way for this to be prevented is Islam dropping its “forbidding” to others and its intent to rule Europe with Sharia.

    Ballot box or no ballot box, free men will not be physically ruled by a backward, beligerant, made-up religion.

    Offering booty, sex, and status for sacking other societies only works with young men when it starts in a desert without adequate resources. The world is far richer in every way, especially in intelligence, language, art, scientific development, food, travel, and respect for women. Islam is in the wrong era to succeed, the world already has more than Allah can actually offer.

  11. Keep in mind, that if a Communist Democrat wins the presidency/House/Senate in 2028, we Will be under Communism for a brief time until the Islamists take over. We will need another Strong President someone like Sec. Of State Marco Rubio to take over the reigns.

    • I don’t even think the republicans can be trusted to prevent the islamic takeover, though by appearances they are definitely the best hope. But just like trump accepting that plane from Qatar… humans are flawed, weaknesses can be exploited… and the determination I’m seeing, coupled with some vague desire for not so vague revenge, I’m telling you, institutional capture has already begun. I’m just glad my parents didn’t have to be alive to see this.

    • The last time Rubio ran for POTUS, he was opposed to singling out muslims for condemnation – and this was after the attacks in San Bernardino and Orlando. I know many are thrilled w/ his support to Israel, but I am not remotely convinced that he’s anywhere near Tuberville, Brandon Gill or Pete Hegseth

      Also, if a Dem gets elected, it’s not going to be an addled guy like Biden. He’ll be someone like Obama who takes strong pro-muslim steps, and that can take us to a point of no return, like Britain, Spain, Belgium…..

  16. Many times multiculturalism in the UK and the US is used in public schools as an excuse the indoctrination, brainwashing, of impressionable children about the religion of Islam. Many times this is done by taking the children on a bus trip to a mosque and in that place the imam of that mosque tells the children many lies.

    For example, one of the lies that are often told to the children is that “Both Christians and Muslim both worship the same God.” That is a lie

    For that above statement of this posting is a claim. Nothing more and nothing less. A person can make a claim about anything or anyone, but proving that claim to be valid and true and no invalid and false is another things entirely.

    That Muslin who said that American belongs to Allah is so very much under the deception of Islam that he has no idea or understanding , at all, that Satan is the god of Islam, he hides behind the mast of Allah, Therefore, It needs to be made clear that the God of the Bible is not really Allah the god of Islam. To uphold this claim to be valid and true , it should be revealed that through the passing of time it has become widely accepted that the word “Allah” is just the Arabic word for God. This started when truth compromising Bible “translators” substituted the word Allah where the word God should have had been uses in the Arabic translation of the Bible. Furthermore, in the glossary in the book ASSASSINS! By Dr. Haha Lung it defines Allah as the “Pre-Islamic Lunar god : the god of Islam. “

    Likewise, in the book entitled INSIDE ISLAM by a former Muslim who is now a Christian, Reza F. Safa on pages 22, 23 it reads “In pre-Islamic times both Allah –worship and Baal-worship involved the worship of the sun, the moon and the stars which h defines them as astral religions. [Which are condemned in the Bible, Second Kings 23:5] The crescent moon, which was the symbol of moon worship, is also the symbol of Islam.” In conclusion the Islamic god, Allah, is not the God of the Bible.

  19. I read a headline yesterday that said people need to ‘assimilate’ to the ‘migrants’……In other words, demanding that infidels change their cultures….all of them….to be what muzzies are, to do what muzzies do, live like muzzies live, etc.

  20. Careful not offend: How does one do that? A Muslim child can say he is offended even though not a word was said, nothing was written or drawn, not even a look was given.

    A whisper on the wind perceived by the child and the student he/she points to will face charges even though innocent.

    That’s the Islamic way.
