In Berlin, the leftists and the Greens have managed to pass a law requiring that forty percent of candidates being interviewed for judgeships and prosecutor positions must have a “migrant background.” The figure of forty percent matches the percentage of the population of Berlin with such a background. DEI policies now require that four in ten interview candidates for judgeships or prosecutor positions in Berlin have a migrant background.
The justice system in the German capital has been radically transformed by the far-left policies pushed by the Green Party, which imposed a rule mandating that prospective judges and prosecutors in the city reflect the exact ethnic makeup of the city, rather than being determined by merit, Bild reported.
The “Law to Promote Participation in a Migration Society” was passed by the Berlin city parliament in July of 2021, when it was under the control of a “red-green-red” majority composed of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Greens, and the Marxist Die Linke, the descendant of the former East German communist ruling party.
“At least as many people with a migration background must be invited to selection interviews as corresponds to their share of the Berlin population,” the law states.
With 40 per cent of the Berlin population having a migrant background, the leftist law means that four in ten candidates for judgeships or prosecutor positions must also have a migration background, which is defined in Germany as having at least one parent born abroad.
The law came to a head this week after Berlin’s Senator for Justice, Felor Badenberg of the centrist CDU party, declared that she believed it contravened the German constitution, the Basic Law.
Felor Badenberg did not put herself “above the law.” The law that the leftists and the Greens had passed to promote candidates with a “migrant background” for judgeships and prosecutorial positions was itself invalid, because it violated the Basic Law, Germany’s Constitution, which requires that merit alone be the criterion for such jobs. She did not “undermine trust” in the law, but rather, ended a practice — affirmative action in selecting candidates for positions as judges and prosecutors — that undermined such trust, a law that did not ensure “equal opportunities,” as the Green Party MP Sebastian Walter claimed, but instead ensured “unequal opportunities” for those with a “migrant background.”
That so many Germans on the left are prepared to smooth the entry of those whom Oriana Fallaci called “the sons of Allah” into the justice system is appalling; Felor Badenberg, and the others like her who stand athwart this insidious movement, deserve the gratitude not just of Berliners, but of all people in the Islam-besieged West.

The Muslim take over of Europe is not through ‘Muslim conquest’ – as it so often is presented – it is voluntary surrender by very stupid and Islam-ignorant European peoples led by treasonous leaders such as Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron. As we know, hordes of Middle East Muslims simple walked in, in their wake leaving a path of destruction, but no European leader had the courage or wisdom to recognize that such ignorant people would make terrible citizens.
In Britain, the treasonous Kier Starmer does not care about tens of thousands of British girls.being raped by Muslims from Pakistan or Muslims invading daily. I’m amazed that no one has assassinated Starmer, but its evident that courage has deserted the once brave British people.
