This black woman most likely has a well disposed attitude towards Islam and most likely knows, or at least sees many black women wearing certain Islamic dress in her life. However, she would never dress as a nun to enter a Catholic church. This is a case of a willingness to subjugate herself or a voluntary suppression of one’s own standards to satisfy or obey someone else. However, it may not be allowed as an officer of the law or an official representation of an official State or Federal body such as a legislature or Congress. This action should be brought to the attention of the Police Dept and see what their attorneys conclude about her actions. Covering up her uniform doesn’t seem appropriate especially if she was “on the job”.

Why the donning of the Slavescaft when she’s insulting Islam by:
being a female Police Chief,
exhibiting authority over men,
wearing pants,
being in the same section of the mosque as men
and speaking at the mosque?
(Where was her sidearm in all of this?)
But all that insult is covered by a female Police Chief’s willingness to don the women’s Slavescarf.
She is a representative of local U.S. law. In the U S, religion has to conform to the laws of the U.S. She is displaying that the person, who’s supposed to be in charge of upholding U S law at the local level, is willing to bow to Sharia.
Being in uniform means wearing only officially sanctioned garb, no deletions and no additions.
Why the donning of the Slavescarf?
Has she any knowledge of Islams attitudes towards black people?
She would be forbidden, under Islam, to be a Police Chief.
Her lack of understanding of how U S law works in relationship to religious law, in a minor matter, also says she should not be a Police Chief. But this rejection is based on her displaying her lack of authority and competence in the face of that minor matter.

Governor Desantis should at least investigate this matter. I’m not sure what authority he has but remember he removed Broward county sheriff after the Parkland massacre as well as some prosecutors.
