Even if the Iranian people didn’t hate the Islamic Republic, and even if the U.S. and Israel hadn’t just decimated its leadership with a series of skillfully targeted airstrikes, the Islamic Republic’s chances of survival at this point are slimmer than most people realize, particularly the Democrats in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
After 36 years as supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed in that most ignominious of ways for a man of his outlook on life: an Israeli airstrike sent the 86-year-old tyrant to his heavenly virgins. Even in the best of times, this would have been a severe blow to Iran’s Islamic regime. At this point, it is something much worse than that for the mullahs in Tehran.

Interesting question. Right now, Iran has a 3 member “leadership council” to replace Khamenei, which consists of President Pezeshkian, judiciary chief Mohsen Ejai and newly appointed cleric Alireza Arafi

The bombing of Iranian targets is still continuing, while Reza Pahlavi has called on Iranian officials to hand over power w/o more bloodshed. I’m not sure they’ll listen

I agree with you JC, I also believe it wont happen.
Ezekiel prophesied almost 3000 years ago that Persia (modern day Iran) and Beth-Togarmah (Turkey) along with several other islamic countries will form a coalition and attack Israel. I’ve no doubt this prophecy will be fulfilled. So if this present regime is removed and replaced by a secular regime, I can’t see them being part of this coalition. And this is the reason that I don’t believe this regime will be toppled.
