Canada: Woke school bans kids from eating in cafeteria and lunch room to not offend Muslims during Ramadan

In an alarming report about a Calgary school in Canada, parents received notices that their children were relegated to “No Food” zones, as they were banned from the cafeteria and lunch room during the Islamic month of Ramadan. “Woke Canadian school bans children from eating in its cafeteria and lunch room to avoid offending Muslim students during Ramadan,” by Anna Wright, Daily Mail, March 16, 2026:

A Canadian school has sparked outrage after it designated ‘No Food’ zones at certain times inside its cafeteria in order to be inclusive to Muslim children who are fasting for Ramadan.

Lunch areas at Fairview School in Calgary have been named ‘food free’ to support students undertaking the religious fast, according to an email sent by administrators.

The email informed parents that the cafeteria was a ‘No Food Space’ during the first half of lunch for younger pupils in grades 4 to 6.

Children in grades 7 to 9 would be banned from eating food inside their lunch room for the full hour-long break, according to the email.

It’s unclear where the non-fasting students would be able to eat as an alternative. As of 2024, Fairview School has 911 students enrolled, up to the ninth grade.

Ramadan started on February 17, and will end on March 18. Practicing Muslims do not eat food or drink water during sunlight hours for the month, and celebrate the end with the festival of Eid.

Calgary’s education board snapped back at the criticism online, and confusingly put out a statement saying that the school had made ‘no changes to these designated lunch areas,’ despite acknowledging the email with the new restrictions was sent out.

The email, dated February 18, stated: ‘To support students who may be fasting, we will be providing designated No Food Spaces during lunch…

Parents everywhere need to wake up and closely pay attention to what is being taught to their children in schools. Once children are indoctrinated, the indoctrination can remain with them for life. Wokeness presents itself as noble to youngsters, as it appears to teach them the importance of tolerance, opposition to racism, and consideration of others. But what it really does is divide Western society into two: Westerners who are deemed to be oppressors and “privileged,” who must practice self-deprecation and make sacrifices for those who are “foreign” and/or “oppressed,” with no real understanding about who or what they are serving. Schools should be educating, not indoctrinating. The administrators of Fairview School in Calgary and the Calgary School Board are proving themselves to be unfit and unsafe to execute their duties to educate children.

Likely without even realizing it, Fairview School is teaching its children to sacrifice their spaces to adherents of a supremacist religion. Islam is a religion of conquest. Ramadan is the month of jihad in Islamic history and tradition, rooted in violent conquests. Muhammad commanded his followers to fast, but also to wage bloody jihad. Islam divides the world in two: dar al harb (the House of War) and dar al Islam (the House of Islam). In this view, the West is dar al harb, and must be conquered using stealth or violent means, or a combination. The Muslim Brotherhood, in its strategic goal for North America, revealed the plan:

But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

Are Catholics catered to as they fast for Lent? Is any other religion catered to for their traditions? The woke bow to only one religion: Islam. Mainstream Islam already teaches supremacy to its own children, so when Muslim children see the infidel bow to their traditions, it reinforces the dhimmitude (the state of inferiority and second-class status for non-Muslims) taught and established in the Islamic Sharia. Fairview School and the Calgary School Board likely did not expect to be challenged and exposed for its ignorance:

Without pushback, Sharia supremacy will continue to spread through DEI programs, which have become infamous for bringing disunity and leading to the erosion of Western civilization everywhere they are implemented.

  3. As I posted re: this demon cruelty yesterday, they are forcing the children to bow to the beast, “inclusivity”…not just ‘including’ the muzzies in the regular routine of life at school, but forcing the infidel kids to following the unholy rules of islime..
    The parents of the infidel kids should have put some feet down way before this date. The unholy, demonic month of gorging all night, and pretending a ‘fast,’ is nearly over, and this is just making the ‘news.’

  6. This also happens here in the uk! Technically, the kids are not allowed to eat anywhere but the cafeteria, so since they banned this at our school, they are forcing all the children to fast because the Muslim parents are pressuring them.

    It isn’t the Muslim students it’s the parents. And the kids tell our kids “haram, haram, haram” all this small things. But these Muslims are doing haram too. It’s a pressure campaign.

    We have to remember kids are kids, Muslim kids too. It’s the parents that teach them and pressure the school system. 40 percent Muslim here but all the meals are halal. And everyone must fast because there’s nowhere to eat! Where will you eat, you tell me! Cafeteria but it’s banned!

    Just put the Muslim kids into the gymnasium you fools! So everyone can live their own way and not the sharia law way. Haram haram haram. That’s what my kids hear every day

Therefore,the Canadian school teachers must “walk of eggshells” not to say or do anything that might be taken as an affront by Muslims. Even if it means being dishonest and giving false information to the school youngsters ,

  8. Many times multiculturalism in Canada and the United States is used in public schools as an excuse the indoctrination, brainwashing, of impressionable children about the religion of Islam. Many times this is done by taking the children on a bus trip to a mosque and in that place the imam of that mosque tells the children many lies.

    For example, one of the lies that are often told to the children is that “Both Christians and Muslim both worship the same God.” That is a lie

    For that above statement of this posting is a claim. Nothing more and nothing less. A person can make a claim about anything or anyone, but proving that claim to be valid and true and no invalid and false is another things entirely.

    Therefore, It needs to be made clear that the God of the Bible is not really Allah the god of Islam. To uphold this claim to be valid and true , it should be revealed that through the passing of time it has become widely accepted that the word “Allah” is just the Arabic word for God. This started when truth compromising Bible “translators” substituted the word Allah where the word God should have had been uses in the Arabic translation of the Bible. Furthermore, in the glossary in the book ASSASSINS! By Dr. Haha Lung it defines Allah as the “Pre-Islamic Lunar god : the god of Islam. “

    Likewise, in the book entitled INSIDE ISLAM by a former Muslim who is now a Christian, Reza F. Safa on pages 22, 23 it reads “In pre-Islamic times both Allah –worship and Baal-worship involved the worship of the sun, the moon and the stars which h defines them as astral religions. [Which are condemned in the Bible, Second Kings 23:5] The crescent moon, which was the symbol of moon worship, is also the symbol of Islam.” In conclusion the Islamic god, Allah, is not the God of the Bible.

      “We stand in solidarity with those who find themselves in vulnerable and dangerous circumstances. Patrick’s story invites us to respond with hospitality and kindness to those suffering the consequences of war and displacement, those fleeing their countries because of persecution or violence.”

      One X user, U.K. conservative activist Tommy Robinson, called the speech deliberately “demoralising.”

      He wasn’t the only critic.

      Connolly, 68, is a politician so radical that she’s been called an “outspoken left-winger” even on NPR.

      And her purpose, clearly, was to hijack St. Patrick’s legacy for wokeness and thereby obscure Ireland’s Catholic heritage

      St. Patrick, of course, went to Ireland in the fifth century not as a migrant but as a slave. Eventually escaping after six years of suffering, he later returned to Ireland where, using the language he had learned as a slave, he preached the gospel and helped convert the island’s Celtic peoples to Christ.

      Those Irish Christians in turn became missionaries that kept Christianity alive in Europe amid the fall of the Roman Empire.

      In other words, one cannot tell St. Patrick’s story without highlighting his Christian missionary purpose. But Connolly did exactly that. And she did it on purpose.

      Indeed, when we reduce it to its essentials, we find that leftist ideology exists for no other reason. Christianity offends woke leftists because Christianity is true.

  11. Hopefully there are emerging patriotic leaders amongst the students who can convince all the other students to reject the Left Wing school rules and eat their lunch in front of Muslim students during Ramadan.

    If the Muslim students don’t like it their families can always emigrate to an Islamic country.

      When I was a kid, we did not call that fasting. We were poor.

A Fast is when a person drinks ONLY water for a set amount of days and eats nothing like solid food for those set days and so to call this islamic practice a Fast is truly false as this is merely the person skipping Lunch for a set amount of days as they eat a huge Breakfast before Sunrise and then eat another huge Dinner Meal after Sunset.
    So once again muslimes are shoving lies into the mainstream as if they are doing something nobody else in any other faith group practices when in fact mohamad, may piss be upon him, got this religious practice notion from the Jews and Christians.
