Who’s Going to Pay $30 Billion to ‘Build’ 180 Skyscrapers in Gaza?

We could rebuild America’s Rust Belt, but why break from our proud tradition of rebuilding Muslim terror states?

Steven Witkoff, Jared Kushner and their associates have been pushing a plan to ‘nation build’ Gaza, claiming that all Hamas really wants is better housing. (In reality, Hamas had extensive mansions and controlled numerous businesses including hotels and shopping malls.)

“I think we can show Hamas that disarmament is the right thing for long-term peace and for the future. And the Gaza reconstruction plan, under President Trump’s oversight, is an unbelievable plan. Gaza is meant to become an amazing place,” Witkoff claimed.

“In the beginning, we were toying with the idea of saying, let’s build a free zone and then we have a Hamas zone. And then we said, you know what? Let’s just plan for catastrophic success. We, Hamas signed a deal to demilitarize. That is what we are going to enforce,” Kushner argued in his Davos address.

“We’ve talked to a number of Hamas people, and we’re hearing throughout the Arab world that people don’t want to be at war anymore. They want peace. They want a better economic future for their families. They want credible homes,” said a second US official on the briefing. “They want what everybody else in this world wants — just a good life.”

And all that will take is… $30 billion.

Jared Kushner touted the “amazing investment opportunities” in Gaza and said the shattered city of Rafah could be rebuilt in two to three years, as he set out a $30bn vision for rebuilding the devastated Palestinian enclave.

The slides that accompanied Kushner’s speech provided few details but envisaged at least $25bn of investments in “modern, reliable utilities and public services”; at least $3bn in commercial zones, business districts, micro-grants and loans; and at least $1.5bn in vocational schools and training.

There is little clarity so far on how the reconstruction of Gaza will be funded, and Kushner gave no details on Thursday about where the money would come from. But he said contributions from various countries would be announced at a conference in Washington in a couple of weeks.

Are we going to be paying for any of it? Apart from all the money we’re already spending on setting up these plans. (You don’t think government officials and agencies work for free. Getting them to do anything costs millions. Having multiple government agencies and officials involved in drawing up plans for transforming Gaza is already going to be expensive.)

There’s a saying. “if you can’t spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.”

How many times have we been the sucker at the nation building table before? Surely it’ll be different now that we’re building 180 skyscrapers for Hamas.

A “coastal tourism” zone would run along the seafront — long enough for up to 180 skyscrapers, many likely earmarked as hotels.

Kushner highlighted two urban developments, which he referred to as New Rafah and New Gaza.

At “New Rafah,” more than 100,000 permanent housing units would be built, along with over 200 schools and more than 75 medical facilities, he said. He expressed hope that the construction would be completed within two to three years.

A port was shown at the southwestern end of Gaza, alongside the border with Egypt, and immediately inland from the port, the map showed zoning for an airport.

“New Gaza” is to be a center of industry, with the aim of achieving 100% full employment, Kushner said.

Sure, we could rebuild America’s Rust Belt, but why break from our proud tradition of rebuilding Muslim terror states instead?

Even assuming the Islamic world in general doesn’t want for the time being any more violent jihad, and let’s even assume a hideous entity like Hamas doesn’t (huge assumption I know), the West is by no means in the clear regardless of what Kushner, Witkoff, the WSJ, et al. have tried to maintain.

    Yes, under this “rosy” scenario, count on other forms of jihad being employed by followers of the worst religion of all time, including stealth jihad and demographic jihad. Yep, the wombs of Muslim women here in the West will create a plethora of Muslim babies and having realities like an all-Muslim city council in Dearborn, Michigan and a Muslim mayor of New York City just twenty-five years after 9/11 is dispositive of the true faith which is Islam in full winning mode, now isn’t it?

    Hey, why use violence when you’re getting the destruction of the West without violence and all the while getting plenty of jizya as exampled by the hypothetical reconstruction of Gaza? Oh brother, the West is still full of idiots and I dearly hope one of them is not Trump. Not sure any longer.

  2. Much better plan would be to turn all of Gaza into a deep water port and the nortbern terminus of a new 1,000 meter wide sea level canal connecting the Mediterranean Sea with the Gulf of Aqaba.

    • Along the Israel-Egypt border, maybe all within Israeli territory, so that Cairo can’t horn in on the proceeds

Mr. Greenfield, this brings to my mind several different television shows where scammers would come to town and tout some new project which would bring tourists, businesses, and lots of money to the gullible townspeople. A slide show and lots of blathering by the scammers, but no talk of the cons ….the downsides…to the projected buildings and development. Only the pretend upsides and getting people excited about how it would make them all richer.

    May as well just sign some checks over to the terrorists. That is what it all comes out to be. For an example: see the taliban in afghanistan.

  5. Our incompetent Leaders and Negotiators fail to understand Islam and its Muslims, terrorists for Allah as taught in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc.). Witkoff and Kushner are compromised by Muslim money and investments because they have been influenced by Arab wealth; the land belongs to Israel as taught in the Bible and in the Qur’an and should be annexed by Israel at no additional cost while the Muslims should be deported from the land(Qur’an 5:20-25, etc.). Allah in Qur’an 49:15 teaches, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.”

    Allah describes Muslim women in Jenna, Allah’s Paradise, as whores of Allah in Qur’an 56:37. Also, Deceitful Allah stirs hatred, cursing, and punishment against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” See also Qur’an 2:225; 60:4; 8:55.

    As taught by Allah, Muslims are supremacist terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and with their LIVES while undermining a society from within using the man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” As evidenced by continuous Muslim attacks, Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”

    ALLAH’S MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than diabolical Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

    Again, Islam is a civilization-destroying, totalitarian, and supremacist system of lies and deceit because Allah, the best deceiver, is the actual source of Muslim deceit as taught in Islam’s Qur’an. Muslims under Islam’s system of deceit are more easily controlled because there is no foundation for truth in Islam. Allah in Qur’an 3:54 says, “And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 8:30 says, “…And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 13:42 says, “And indeed, those before them deceived, so to Allah all the deception…”

Before Israel handed the “Gaza” to a terror group it had settlers with alot of farm land and high end indoor green house vegetable gardens growing that ship vegetables to both Europe and North America. Why can ,t Israel go back to that model .That would be easier to defend and police. Of course the Moslems burn and smash all those green houses rip out the orchards torn down the warehouses and rip out the waterpipes making them into rockets to throw at Israel .I think farms and a less populated well arm civilian farming blue collar Jewish population would be a better fit to defend .That is my humble opinion ,there are plenty of high end place to vacation at that are lower terrorist targets .Frankly America could spend money on rust belt American towns before putting billions into a high end terror target. I am all for supporting Israel ,but not for sinking money into a Vegas that will cost the American taxpayers a mint to defend and make alot of high end political connected people in America and oversea rich.

  10. Leaving Gaza in rubble is the way to go. Any money out into it will be diverted just as UNRWA money and European and some American money was diverted and ended up making Hamas leaders, who now reside in Qatar, into billionaires,

  11. If Witkoff, Kushner and their pals want to rebuild Gaza, they better do that w/ their own money. Or in Witkoff’s case, since he’s already indebted to Qatar, he could take their money to rebuild Gaza. None from US – we are now at $38.6 TRILLION in debt. At this rate, our currency will end up being as worthless as Iran’s

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if somewhere in this Gaza scheme there’s a large financial return for Witkoff and Kushner (and Ivanka).

      Islam is Islam they all follow the Koran the difference is how they live, how they follow sharia.

      Culture is the issue, either wealth or poverty.

      As for Gaza, level it to dust and keep it that way for at least 5 years, do not rebuild period. That would be a huge mistake to give the very people that attacked Israel another chance to do so because those of us who see the pattern of how Islam works for see the chance of another more deadly attack against Israel. Like another person stated, flood it with water in the intern.

      The reality: can never trust Islam or the Muslims that follow it, never could never will.

    • Why is Mr. ivanka Trump being allowed to invoke himself in a ridiculously impossible business situation before Israel has completed the necessary military/political situation at hand?

      • In the last Trump administration, he had to work pro bono for his father-in-law. Now, since both he and wifey have said that they won’t, they’re being pulled into this stupid exercise of negotiating b/w the US & Iran

  16. Sounds like the perfect setup for the same deal as the Somalia Child Care scam. America needs to fund and repair its basic small towns and country before dumping billions of dollars into rebuilding another country and particularly a muslim run location. We the citizens of America are tax on everything we buy and due. Let’s spend that money here at home to help are people, not some where that hates us to begin with.
