Butt has delivered a (well-deserved) slap in the face to Labour candidates as he boasts about being “better” than they are. In some way, he really is. Every Islamic supremacist (whether linked to Muslim Brotherhood or some other jihad terrorist group) who has advanced in British society or in that of another Western country is smarter than the clueless leftists who facilitated his deceptive rise. There is no question that Shahid Butt is certainly bad for Britain, but he is definitely smarter than the leftists who escort both Marxist and Sharia ideology into Britain.
Butt says he made “mistakes in his youth,” but even now describes himself openly as as an “Islamist.” He’s is a member of the Independent Candidates Alliance, “a group of Muslim candidates set up by lawyer and accused money launderer Akhmed Yakoob. The ICA is running 20 candidates across Birmingham in the upcoming elections.”
Butt was imprisoned for five years in 1999. Fox News stated that he was “found guilty of forming an armed gang and conspiring to bomb the British consulate in Aden, an Anglican church and a Swiss-owned hotel in Yemen. At the time, Yemeni prosecutors said the group had been sent to carry out violence by Abu Hamza, the extremist preacher who was the father of one of the convicted men.” Butt also proudly declares “I’m not a pacifist,” and “has urged his young supporters to knock their enemies’ ‘teeth out.'”
Almost two-thirds of the Sparkhill ward that Butt is running in are people of Pakistani background. And, of course, Butt supports the Palestinian Islamic “resistance” (from the River to the Sea) against Israel, which is also problematic for the rise of antisemitism in Britain.
So now Butt is waving his Islamic pride, insisting he is “better than every Labour candidate.” Thanks to their ilk, he has gotten this far.
