The increasingly unhinged Tucker Carlson, whose anti-Israel animus and antisemitism have become ever more obvious, decided to show his willingness to listen to opposing sides by traveling to Israel, where he never left the Ben Gurion Airport, remaining for three hours to interview the American Ambassador, Mike Huckabee, who on the subject of Israel is a sort of Tucker Carlson in reverse. More on Tucker Carlson’s excellent adventure at Ben Gurion Airport can be seen here: “Tucker Carlson visits Israel for sit-down with Huckabee: ‘He wouldn’t leave the airport,'” Jerusalem Post, February 18, 2026:
Conservative media personality Tucker Carlson visited Israel briefly on Wednesday for a filmed sit-down with US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, focused on claims about the treatment of Christians in Israel and the wider region, sources told The Jerusalem Post.
According to the sources, Carlson conducted the conversation inside Ben Gurion Airport and did not travel beyond the airport complex. He departed Israel at around 3 p.m., ending a trip that lasted only a few hours.
Curious, isn’t it, that Tucker Carlson, who has made his animadversions on Israel such a major part of his programs, when in Israel this time he did not venture out to see any of the country, including the Old City and the Temple Mount, Masada, the Church of the Nativity, Ben Yehuda Street in Jerusalem, Dizengoff Street and Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, the Knesset, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Golan Heights. Nor did he attempt on this visit to talk with a single one of its Jewish or Muslim or Christian inhabitants, save for Huckabee himself. Of course he has been to Israel before: in February he came to interview Christians in Israel for an episode Carlson called “Christian Persecution.” About that “Christian Persecution,” he claims the Israelis practice, we’ll provide some facts later on that flatly contradict that claim. But after all, let’s not confuse Carlson with facts about Israel; his mind is made up.
The unusual in-and-out visit followed a public back-and-forth between the two former Fox News hosts after Carlson published an episode in early February, filmed at the Jordan River baptism site and titled “Christian Persecution.”
In the episode, Carlson interviewed Anglican Archbishop of Jerusalem Hosam Naoum and a Jordanian Christian businessman, presenting a case that Israel mistreats its Christian population and that American Christians are unknowingly funding that mistreatment through US aid.
Huckabee responded on X on February 5, writing: “Hey @TuckerCarlson instead of talking ABOUT me, why don’t you come talk TO me?” Carlson publicly agreed to a face-to-face conversation….
Huckabee, a longtime evangelical leader and a close political ally of President Donald Trump, has taken the opposite approach. He was confirmed by the US Senate as ambassador to Israel in 2025 and presented his credentials to President Isaac Herzog shortly afterward.
The episode’s portrayal of Huckabee went further than the claims made by Carlson’s own interview subject.
After the Archbishop described difficulties accessing an Anglican hospital in Gaza, Carlson told viewers that “what Ambassador Huckabee is doing is shameful and he’s going to have to answer for it.” The Archbishop responded: “I don’t want to blame Huckabee for this.”
Naoum also described incidents of Jewish extremists spitting at Christian clergy in Jerusalem as the work of “fringe groups” and “radicals,” a characterization that sat at odds with the episode’s broader framing.
The original episode did not include any Israeli government response.esponse.
I don’t know what Ambassador Huckabee told Tucker Carlson by way of rebutting his claims about Israel’s supposed “persecution” of Christians. But here are some things he could have said:
First, in 1949 there were 34,000 Christians in Israel. Today there are 185,000 Christians in the Jewish state. That’s an increase of 550%.
Second, in Bethlehem in 1950, 86% of the population was Christian. Today, due to the constant pressure of a hostile Muslim population, Christians constitute only 10% of that city’s population.
Third, Israel is the only country in the entire Middle East where Christians have equal political, econimic, and social rights with the majority population.
Fourth, the practice of Christianity is strictly forbidden in Saudi Arabia, a country where expats have been booted out simply for singing Christmas carols softly in their apartments, behind closed doors. Christians are treated as second-class citizens in every Arab state but one, to greater or lesser degrees. The sole exception is Lebanon.
Fifth, Tucker Carlson has said he intends to buy an apartment in Doha, Qatar. Does he care that Qatar is the leading Arab supporter of Hamas, and provides luxurious housing for the terror group’s leaders? Is he aware of how Christians are treated in Qatar, where proselytizing by Christians is strictly forbidden, and conversion from Islam to Christianity is severely punished? And do you think Carlson might be rewarded with a special deal on the price of his house by the ruling Al-Thani family, given all the venom he has directed at Israel?
Sixth, does Carlson know about the treatment of Coptic Christians in Egypt, where they cannot repair old, nor build new, churches? Does he know that Copts are routinely discriminated against, not hired or promoted in a variety of jobs even if better qualified than Muslim candidates, including jobs in academic life, in government, and in the military?
Seventh, does Carlson know how Christians are treated in Iran, where so many suffer severe persecution, and many who are apostates from Islam have been condemned to long terms in Evin Prison, solely for having converted to Christianity, which makes them “security risks” in the eyes of the Islamic Republic. The regime considers the recent increase of Christian converts a threat to its Islamic rule, and targets members of evangelical groups and converts with arrests, long-term imprisonment in Evin and, in some cases, violence.
Eighth, what does Tucker Carlson think explains the fact that in 2005, just before Israel handed Gaza over to the Palestinians, there were 5,000 Christians in the Strip, and today, after two decades of Muslim Arab rule, there are only 500?
Questions, Tucker, questions that demand answers. Please explain. We’re eager to hear from you.

Perhaps Butt Tucker Carlson is a closeted member of Islam ? He is many things but one is very clear. He is an antisemitic bigot trying to revive his sinking career and fix his fragile ego.
SKA says
I remember two decades ago that Carlson was querying members of the Texas School textbook commission about history texts that referred to Muhammad as “the Prophet.” He once had some integrity but he now has obviously sold out. But I doubt very much that he is a covert Muslim convert.

I dont think that guy believes in anything but growing his ego and bank account.

What I don’t get about Tucker here is – why did he bother flying to Ben Gurion? He could have had an online conversation w/ Huckabee, just like he did w/ Iran’s president Pezeshkian some months ago. In Moscow 2 years ago, he was perfectly happy to tour the city, visiting its metro, its grocery stores and fast food joints. Which was great, and something that I – unlike others – lauded him for! He could have done the same thing here, and disproved all his critics who claim that he hates Jews about as much as he loves Russians
If his flight to Ben Gurion constituted a visit to Israel, then I have visited several countries myself – Britain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Portugal: in none of these countries did I leave the transit lounge
Also, if I understand right, the main churches in Israel/”Palestine” are the Eastern Orthodox and the Roman Catholic churches. Anglican traditionally never existed in the region

Carlson obviously thought that he was making some point–who knows what?

He claims o be Christian, but his claim is without any evidence. Jesus said, “You will know their fruits.”
Jesus also spoke of “rotten trees bearing rotten fruit.”
Israel was nice to allow him to visit.

Qatarlson may be unhinged, but, what is apparent is, that after Fox fired him, he felt free to express his core beliefs. Which include Jew/Israel hatred, along with support for regimes which wish to destroy Israel.

Has Tucker converted to Islam?
What is going on with him?
Stive says
Good question. Few are aware that David axlerod ethnically Jewish converted to Islam long ago. It can be anyone,
Once one realizes that Allah is Satan, and many elites worship Satan as Apollo or other names, it’s all the same entity just wrapped in different packages.
I do not though believe trump worships Satan as trump can’t worship anyone but self. He might make a deal with Satan but won’t worship Satan. Only if both became one would they both jointly get worshipped.

Axelrod a convert to Islam? Where is the evidence for that claim?

It was out there and you missed it. Few still know John Brennan is Moslem too but it was out there a little more so some know.

This colonial settler zionist drivel in support of a genocidal zionist state where war criminals, rapists torturers of palestinians, journalists and activists are held in the highest esteem is sickening. I have a question. I’m not an expert but am immersed in the so-called “health freedom” movement since my wife was murdered by the CDC’s and Fauci’s hospital protocols almost five years ago. Many of the “leaders” of this movement, Sasha Latypova, Dr. Meryl Nass, Debbie Lerman, Katherine Watts, Catherine Austin Fitts and so on are gradually revealing their anti-Israel bias. How is it possible that these very intelligent people in their fields can be so blindly ignorant about the threat of Islam?

Tucker Carlson’s Excellent Adventure: Three Hours at Ben Gurion Airport

Tucker Carlson is increasingly unhinged. In fact, Israel is the only nation in the Middle East which *doesn’t* persecute Christians. I hope the stalwart Mike Huckabee handed Carlson his *ss.
