“The churches are always their main target.”
The David Horowitz Freedom Center spent a lot of time bringing attention to the Muslim genocide of Christians in Nigeria. Before his death, Charlie Kirk spread our work around, and the Trump administration fortunately listened. And yet it also unfortunately adapted a false narrative in which the tremendous genocide of Christians was just the work of the local Al Qaeda. And that’s simply not true. These are the broader work of the local Muslim ‘Fulani’ population.
This excellent account captures some of what’s really going on.
Driving through the vast, scorched landscape, I hear the words that have followed me all day. ‘They roasted the pastor and his wife alive in the church. We heard their screams.’
Bricks lie scattered in the scrub. Concrete blocks jut from the earth like jagged teeth. Roofs have collapsed inward.
And then come the churches.
Burned-out shell after burned-out shell. Crosses broken. Windows blown through. One has been gutted by fire, another reduced to rubble.
It’s as though someone has tried to erase every visible sign of Christianity from this land.
For more than two decades, this stretch of Nigeria’s Middle Belt – the faultline where the largely Muslim north meets the predominantly Christian south – has convulsed in recurring waves of bloodshed…
In the face of all this, calling the violence here merely a ‘farmer–herder conflict’, as government officials try to do, begins to sound like a diplomatic euphemism. It’s true that land is in high demand and grazing routes are contested. But that explanation alone feels inadequate when you witness for yourself the ruins of so many churches – and hear the stories of so many slaughtered Christians.
We arrive in the village of Gwet, parking by a collection of abandoned houses, destroyed fields and another ruined church. In truth, we’re not exactly welcome. The people who committed these atrocities – Muslim Fulani herdsmen – can be seen in the distance: the new, unchallenged masters of this once devoutly Christian area.
Yes, Boko Haram attacks and kills Christians, but much like ISIS in Iraq and Syria, Hamas in Israel, or the Al Qaeda regime in Syria, t’s just the tip of the spear for the larger genocidal campaign by a Sunni Muslim group against another population.
The pattern has been identical across the years and locations. Night raids. Armed, baying men descending on sleeping Christian communities. Houses torched; men, women and children cut down or slaughtered in their beds; churches set ablaze. By dawn, whole settlements are smoking ruins.
‘Jonas’ is 29 years old. He cradles his metal machete like a comfort blanket. ‘For firewood,’ he says, ‘but also’, he adds, looking at the Fulani in the distance, ‘for protection.’ We stand in the blackened remains of his family home. This is the first time he’s dared to come back since May 16, 2023: the day his world was destroyed.
He starts to remember. Early that morning, Fulani families had been seen nearby gathering cattle and belongings, moving in unusually large numbers. Within hours they stormed his village screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ and calling the Christians living there infidels. They fired into homes, chased families out and burned everything they could. They were methodical in their savagery. ‘We were terrified,’ he tells me. ‘We ran and hid in the bush and then fled.’
Ten people once lived in his home: his parents, wife and younger brothers. They were farmers. Now the Fulani cattle graze the family’s field beyond their ruined church.
‘The churches are always their main target,’ he says. It is an attack at the heart of their faith…
In 48 blood-spattered hours between December 23 and Christmas Day, mobs attacked at least 17 rural communities in the Plateau areas of Bokkos and Barkin Ladi, murdering at least 200 and injuring 500 more. Although no group claimed responsibility, residents insist it was the Fulani.
They also insist the date was deliberate. In the days before the attacks, warnings had circulated: ‘Be careful how you celebrate Christmas – or you may not celebrate at all.’
There’s plenty more there and I encourage you to read all of it, but the bottom line is to remember this is not just ‘Al Qaeda’.
This is a genocidal campaign by a Muslim population against a Christian population. This is how Islam expands. Its borders are always red because they bleed with the blood of Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and all non-Muslims.
It’s not just a matter of tracking down a few terrorists, it’s about facing the reality that this is what Islam is.
And it’s not just at work in Nigeria or in Africa, it’s at work in Europe and America.

Anyone with a link of sense knows that the muhammadists are nothing more than a military organization posing as a religion.

I pray as did the Apostle John, “Come quickly, Lord Jesus.”
He will come and set matters straight and bring vengeance upon those who are persecuting His Children.

Amen! It’s unbearable to wait. But He WILL one end this and bring these wicked people to account.

Thank you, Mo And it certainly does feel unbearable, and I hurt at heart to read of such things. I know it hurts our God and His Son and they will not forget.

As in the days of Nehemiah when he and his men were busy in the reconstruction of the walls around Jerusalem and the Arab became furious and indigent at this at this grand project of the rebuilding of the walls. Neh 4:1 and they thus despised the Jews , Neh. 4:4 ,and schemed terrorist attacks against them.
So the Jewish men set up watch for such attacks, Neh 4:8, therefore ,on this watch they set up guards to be ready for those terrorists attacks , Neh 4;16.
Likewise, in this twenty –first century in areas of the world, as the nations of Nigeria, Iraq Pakistan, Syria Christians need to be “on watch and stand firm” First Corinthians 16:13.,as to be on guard from jihad-minded Muslim terrorist attacks against Christians .
For Christians together compose the symbolic body of Christ, Ephesians 1:13. 5:30.
Furthermore, it should be made known that the Muslim terrorists who engage in the persecution of Christians will not get away from the punishment of God for their wicked actions. As seen in Romans 14: 12. First Corinthians 3: 16, 17. Galatians 6:7.
Christians are instructed to “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.”
First Corinthians 16:13. [N.K.J.V.]
Walter Sieruk says
There are many Muslims who strongly dislike Christians. Some Muslims even hate Christians to such spiteful malice- filled vicious extent that they even engage in murderous violence against them.
One reason for this is that in the mosques and madrasas the Muslim clerics, as the imams who speak many awful and unproven terrible things against Christians and Christian doctrine. So much so the many Muslims get all worked up against Christians and Christian teachings and some those Muslims commit violent actions against Christians. Such false religious teachers, as those Muslim clerics, who speak to people unfounded and invalid evil things about Christians and Christian doctrines have been described in the Bible. For the Bible informs the reader in Second Peter 2:12. “They speak evil of things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.” [N.K.J.V.]
It also should be make clear that in this specific above Bible verse, as well as in John 3:16. The word “Perish” does not mean loss of being but loss of well-being. As in going to ruin by ending up in languishing in torment in a terrible place of suffering that the Bible calls hell. Luke 16:19-31.

The Christian “leaders” in the west are silent on this matter including the just passed Pope and the current Pope. What about the current leaders of the Lutheran ,Methodist and other Christian leaders in the west ?All these Christians dying because they are Christian by the hands of Moslems in Africa?
David Lakatos says
Muhammad has been blaspheming Jesus and killing Christians since the 7th century. 60 million Christians killed by the so-called religion of peace. And they are still killing Christians to this day.

Why would Africans want to be Muslim when Allah says he created them for Hell. If they read what is in the Quran they would be running away from it.

(4c) Chapter: Belief in the Divine Decree – Section 3
Abud Darda’ reported God’s messenger as saying, “God created Adam when He created him and struck his right shoulder and brought forth his offspring white like small ants. And he struck his left shoulder and brought forth his offspring black as though they were charcoal. Then He said to the party on his right side, ‘To paradise, and I do not care’ and He said to the party in his left shoulder, ‘To hell, and I do not care’.”
Ahmad transmitted it.

Grimly true, Hank. Just one small point–this is in the Hadith, not the Qur’an. But both are the canonical texts of Islam.

The God of Moses. The God who sent His only begotten Son to die for the sins of the world, will enact a terrible judgement upon them. Once that judgement is passed, the iron gate to Hell will be opened and they will be tossed through it.

That description of a land laid waste by Muslim jihad, could be a description of ANY of the lands laid waste by jihad, throughout the past 1400 awful years of this curse upon humanity, this worst of cults, this cult of blood and war, of rape, theft, torture and mass-murder.
If one put side by side images of the burned kibbutzim in southern Israel on 7th October 2023 – images taken while the bodies were still lying on the ground – and the images of the burned Christian villages in middle-belt Nigeria (or if one looked back over the accounts of the Muslim rape of India, or of Byzantium, or the Muslim slave raids throughout Africa that went on for centuries, or the ceaseless Muslim raiding along the Mediterranean littoral, or the genocide of the Armenians, or the Turkish Muslim occupation and oppression of Greece and Bulgaria) one would see.. exactly the same fruits of the same vile ideology.
Those who burned, torture-rape-mutilate-murdered, who beheaded and disembowelled and castrated and gouged out eyes, who burned people alive, who burned houses to ashes… did it to the accompaniment of ecstatic howls of allahu-akbar, whether they were Gazan Muslims of arab ethnicity, or Fulani Muslims, of african ethnicity. NO difference whatsoever in the methods or the ideology: the sacralised indulgence of every one of the darkest impulses of humanity at its worst, the adoration of thanatos, the lust for total world domination.
Jihad bloody jihad, in Africa as in southern Israel or anywhere else that mohammedans feel or felt strong enough to do as they desired.
And let us not forget the priest who was beheaded by a Muslim in his own church, in FRANCE. Or the many burned and vandalised churches in *Europe*. It will only get worse, if it is not recognised for what it is, and STOPPED.
