It’s submission. It’s the next stage.
They don’t need planes anymore. They’re conquering with sound, policy, and silence from those who should defend our values. New York is falling – one amplified “Allahu Akbar” at a time.
Under policies approved by Eric Adams, mosques have been permitted to broadcast the call to prayer publicly on Fridays and during Ramadan without a special noise variance. More recently, activists tied to figures like Zohran Mamdani have pushed for expanded public religious expression framed as equity and inclusion.
Let me clear about something up front, as a Christian pastor. The United States protects religious liberty. That includes Muslims. The First Amendment is not selective. And it should not be. But freedom of religion is not the same thing as forced participation in someone else’s religious proclamation.
The Adhan is not ambient background music. It is a declaration. The phrase “Allahu Akbar” means “God is greatest.” It is a theological claim. It is a call to submission. Practicing Muslims understand this. That is not controversial. That is simply fact.
Now imagine living in lower Manhattan. Imagine hearing that broadcast before sunrise, rolling through concrete and glass, over a skyline where nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered in an attack carried out in the name of that same phrase. Context matters. Memory matters. And if that memory is ingrained in my mind, being in 6th grade and states away at the time, I can’t imagine where it sits for those in the city.
Should the believers in one religion — Islam— be allowed to disturb the peace of all others, by waking them at ungodly hours, or jarring them during the work day, or interrupting the evening peace of families? Why should Muslims be allowed to electronically amplify the call to prayer when there is no need? Now, everyone who possesses a phone can program it to vibrate or to sound quietly the call to prayer five times a day. The Muslim demand that they be allowed to electronically amplify the call to prayer in New York City is a display of Muslim triumphalism: we can force the Unbelievers to yield. So far that has not prevailed. In New York, the call to prayer can be electronically amplified only for Friday prayers and the call to iftar without special permission. But the other canonical prayers still require that permission. We will see if under Zohran Mamdani, more of those canonical prayers, electronically amplified, will be allowed without special permission. I’m sure he will try to allow them, but the resulting outcry — let’s remember that 90% of the people in New York City are not Muslims — should force him to reconsider.

In New York City, now, Fajr begins at approximately 5:00 a.m. But at the summer solstice (~June 21st), it begins at about 3:00 a.m.

I recall in the 90s, in California, a prisoner claimed to belong to a religion of his own invention that required him to eat chateaubriand daily, and his prison actually provided that to him. A talk show I was listening to during a long drive from Santa Clara to LA was discussing that, and whether a person’s First Amendment claims should be respected to that extent!
I’d like to see a PIL lawsuit filed against NYC, and other jurisdictions that do allow this, claiming that it’s forcing an islamic ambience on non-muslims. That would be interesting!

If a person has a consistent exercise of a belief, if his friends know of it, if he can show he has practiced it, held it, etc., then it is accepted by the authorities even if he is the only adherent of that belief.
All WPM has to do is find friends and family who will verify that this is his belief, if the muzzies make a dispute over the “call.”

Actually, to some extent, it is selective. The authorities have gone after the religion of Scientology, partly because they harass people they see as their enemies and even abuse their own members. The “religion” of Islam is similar. It is permissible Muslims to kill apostates, and large percentages of Muslims agree with this. That alone should keep most of them out of the West, but lots of people have been fooled into thinking that Islam is just another religion. It isn’t, and it deserves to be smacked around.
Freedom of religion includes being free to leave a religion without worrying about being killed.

Get a non-profit organization, also meaning non-prophet, to blast Lee Greenwoods, “God Bless the USA” across NYC. Have it located right next to the adhan source and start exactly when the islamic broadcast starts, or maybe, about 5 min. before the adhan.
Of course, the little self-styled cleric, Mamdani will stomp his feet and whine.
An alternative would be for radio stations to schedule Lee’s song and every New Yorker fire-up their radios and blast it, with windows opened, from their homes, apartments and vehicles at the correct time.
NYC…you voted for this aberration of a mayor.

The five times are:
1. Fajr (Dawn)
2. Dhuhr (Noon)
