Rep. Ilhan Omar Calls for Dismantling Department of Homeland Security

A generation after the Islamic terrorist attacks of September 11, we have a Muslim mayor dismantling the NYPD and we have Rep. Ilhan Omar talking about dismantling the Department of Homeland Security.

“There is a lot of conversation about what the dismantlement of the Department of Homeland Security should look like,” Rep. Omar said, who once described 9/11 as “some people did something.”

I’m sure. All the way from Afghanistan to Iran to Qatar. Lots of conversations.

Terrorists for dismantling counterterrorism isn’t exactly news. Bank robbers generally don’t like bank guards either. But our flavor of terrorists spend a lot of time shouting that guarding the things they want to blow up is racist.

While we generally note that Omar hates America and yes, obviously Jews and Christians, and then there’s the whole complicated personal life seemingly involving adultery and incest, we tend to overlook the ties to enemy regimes closely linked to Islamic terrorism.

Last year the terrorist sympathizer and her new husband jetted off to Doha for the World Cup games where she shared pictures of them posing with soccer star David Beckham and an unknown man in a burnoose. Omar offered scant further details on the trip where she was seen in the stadium with a good view of the games, but in her financial disclosure she was forced to reveal that the Qatari regime paid for her meals and hotel room.

And that a trip to Pakistan had been paid for by the Pakistani government.

During her visit, Omar met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif who had initiated negotiations with Al Qaeda and offered to  “reestablish normal relations as long as they do not conduct operations in Punjab”. Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States had claimed that Osama bin Laden had backed Sharif’s brother. Rep. Omar also met with former Prime Minister Imran Khan, nicknamed ‘Taliban Khan’, who had referred to Bin Laden as a “martyr”.

Omar’s Qatari trip also took her into the heartland of Islamic terrorism.

The 9/11 Commission Report revealed that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed had evaded capture after the World Trade Center bombing due to the intervention of a prominent Qatari official allowing him to continue the terror plots that led to the September 11 attacks. A Times story claimed the “government of Qatar is paying millions of pounds a year to Al-Qaeda”.

Qatar hosts the Muslim Brotherhood, along with the Taliban negotiations that convinced the United States to allow the Jihadists to take over Afghanistan, and is allied with Iran. It’s also a backer of Hamas: the Muslim Brotherhood terror group responsible for the murder of Israelis.

Javed, who at one point explored a congressional bid, is a supporter of Imran Khan, who had hailed Osama bin Laden as a martyr. The Pakistani businessman had hosted a fundraiser for Omar and donated to her campaign

The real question isn’t how Rep. Ilhan Omar feels about dismantling the Department of Homeland Security, how do Qatar and Pakistan feel about it?

    • And how bad would it be if we had nothing at all, as Ilhan Omar wants? It might seem that it couldn’t get any worse, but it certainly can.

    • Excuse me, but ilhan the snake elmi came in 1995 because b clinton had the name “omar” on his list of those who could enter and her terrorist daddy changed the family name to omar.

      The DHS was formed in 2003. So that org did no “fail”….but someone following b clinton’s directive failed to prevent her terrorist daddy and his terrorist-in-waiting daughter, from entering.

  6. Honestly, I have mixed opinions these days about DHS. Yeah, right now, ICE & CBP are doing great jobs, but this agency only makes sense once we have sensible policies at the political level to start w/, starting w/ banning all muslims and Leftists from abroad. Once we do, then it makes sense to then create agencies to co-ordinate operations aimed at curbing any jihadist or other insurrectionist groups, such as Antifa or BLM

    But we never had that during those 8 Bush years or even during the Trump years. What’s worse: under both Obama and Biden, DHS agencies were weaponized against Americans exercising their First Amendment rights. In other words, these agencies have the right template of going after people due to their beliefs. Now what’s needed is them going after people due to their anti-American beliefs, not their legally held political ones.

    If we learned anything from 2020-2024, it was that there was a mechanism for cancelling people for views about Covid-19. This looks like a good template for going after people w/ views supportive of islam or anti-American Leftism

    • I can certainly see reforming DHS–but dismantling it? This would not improve things.

    • The functional efficiency of ICE and CBP totally is dependent on the administration in office at the time. Biden, under direction of Obama, set their course and they had nothing to do but comply.

  8. Most of DHS can be transferred to the Justice Department. The Coast Guard can be transferred to the War Department, FEMA to the Department of Health and Human Services, and the TSA can be abolished and replaced with private security companies.

  10. ilhan the snake elmi is like a serial killer who is being hunted by the combined forces of the local pd, county sheriffs, Texas Rangers, U.S. Marshal Service and the FBI.
    Serial killers largely succeed when only one force, such as a local pd or county sheriff, is investigating murder and the killer moves from city to city or county to county. When the various forces *talk* and share information, the fact that he’s a serial killer and all are hunting the same murderer, he is sooner caught.

    This snake and her fellow snakes don’t want anyone to know what is being planned, and that is why she’s calling for “dismantlement” of the *combined forces* of the various agencies.

    If the FBI doesn’t know what Border Patrol or the Coast Guard knows, they may miss some vital clues and vice versa. The DHS, when working properly, can put it all together and send whatever information is needed between agencies.

    And getting rid of dogs…..dogs sniff out, not just drugs, chemicals, poisons, but explosives and weapons.

  15. Here’s a little quirk of history that I find fascinating. During WWII the Navy took a private woman’s college in D.C. by imminent domain. They gave it the name of Communications Annex to hide its true purpose. In reality it.became the US counterpart to the British Top-Secret compound known as Bletchley Park where much of the work in breaking the German Enigma codes was taking place. Today that compound is the home of DHS.

    !. To become wealthy at the expense of the American tax payer.
    2. She wants to increase Somalian migration to insure her voting base.
    3. She wants to take America down and build an Islamic country.
    4. Ill’hand supports and is devoted to world wide Islamic rule.

    That Ilhan Omar, is calling for the dismantling of the Department of Homeland Security should be surprise to anyone who has enough information about her to know that she in an insidious stealth jihadists who is so very dangerously subversive. So much so even an American Imam had described her as so dangerous that he referred to her as “ISIS with lipstick” [1]

    Omar should be impeached and removed from the political office, she now holds. Maybe she should even expelled from the United States as a security threat.

  20. lhan Omar is an actual reminder that one misconception that many Americans have is that of the term used in the West, which is “political Islam.” That term is nonsensical and redundant as well as unknown in the Islamic world.

    Therefore, it needs to be made clear as to why that Western term is nonsensical and redundant. As explained by two statements.

    First, as for that term being nonsensical one devout Muslim who, truly, proclaimed “Islam is Islam.”
    Second. as for that term being redundant, has been well explained by none other Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran who had declared” All Islam is politics.” [1]
