Hamas has also declared that it will never surrender its weapons. Ditto for Hizballah. Jihadist groups everywhere are defined by violent jihad. They need their weaponry to execute their religious duties. To surrender their weapons would mean to surrender to infidels, which they will never willingly do. At best, they may make ceasefire deals, which they will invariably break, but they will not surrender.

Israel currently has a ceasefire agreement w/ Hamas (which the latter has arguably violated). It doesn’t have one w/ islamic jihad, which is why it should use the lull in the fighting w/ Hamas to take out islamic jihad wherever it finds them
