A Somali migrant in Amsterdam with a long criminal record grabbed a Dutch girl and held her in a chokehold for four minutes, strangling her, and all the while repeatedly threatening that he would kill her. A Dutch court refused to convict him of attempted murder or of attempted manslaughter. Instead, he was sentenced to only 3½ years in prison for “attempted sexual assault,” and required to undergo psychiatric treatment. AT5 reported how the Amsterdam court sentenced Mohammed H. to three and a half years in prison and compulsory psychiatric treatment for attempted sexual assault. The Public Prosecution Service had sought a five-year prison sentence plus mandatory psychiatric treatment, arguing that the facts supported convictions for both attempted rape and attempted murder.
As the verdict was read out, the victim became visibly distressed and left the courtroom, shouting at the sentencing judge. “I can’t do this. I can’t do this anymore! What you are saying isn’t true! I was strangled, very long and very hard,” she said. The presiding judge replied, “We concur with that assessment.” The woman responded, “I don’t hear you concur,” to which the judge answered, “Hmm.”
The attack took place during the night of May 10, 2024, as the woman was walking home from a café. She noticed a man following her before he grabbed her by the neck and dragged her into Amsterdam’s Westerpark, where he assaulted her and attempted to rape her. During the attack, he repeatedly threatened to kill her, telling her, “You’re going to die tonight. This is your last night!”
According to the case file, the woman was held in a powerful chokehold and beaten for around four minutes. Two nearby residents heard her screaming, and one immediately called 911, later telling police it sounded as if the woman was fighting for her life. After the call, the witness heard nothing for several minutes.
Prosecutors argued that the combination of prolonged strangulation, violence, and explicit death threats demonstrated intent to kill. “It’s only thanks to the complainant’s incredible fighting spirit, the adrenaline she experienced, and the police’s intervention that she’s still alive,” the Public Prosecution Service said when requesting a five-year sentence.
The court, however, disagreed. In its ruling, it stated, “Based on the file, the court cannot establish that he deliberately and knowingly tried to kill the woman.” Although Mohammed H. repeatedly said he would kill her, the judges said these threats could also fit a scenario in which he was trying to force sexual acts and frighten the victim. The court further ruled that it could not establish that there was a significant chance the woman would die.
The victim took seriously his threats to kill her. He kept repeating that this would be her last night. He never said “I will kill you if you don’t submit,” but only “you are going to die.” It is only because of her own adrenalin flowing, the strength she summoned to free herself — as the Public Prosecution Service said — that allowed her to break free. Had she not done so, her chances of dying by strangulation were great.
She was held in that chokehold for four minutes. During that time her Somali assailant also beat her. He kept saying that she would soon die, he would kill her, this was her last night. She had no reason to disbelieve him; he was doing his best to strangle her, and only with superhuman efforts did she manage to free herself from his hold just enough to scream. That in turn caused others who had heard that scream to notify the police, who quickly came to her rescue.
The victim’s lawyer said the ruling was devastating for his client. “It’s incredibly important to her that she felt the strangulation and that the words were spoken that he would kill her,” he explained. “She felt the chokehold, and to then be told that attempted manslaughter cannot be proven is especially disappointing.” He added that she does not feel recognized as a victim by the verdict….
She, and not the judges, knows exactly how strong was his chokehold, how close to death she felt, and with what conviction the Somali made his murderous threats.
This leniency in Europe toward migrant criminals — almost all of them Muslims, like the Somali would-be rapist and murderer in this story — will only encourage other migrants to think that they too can expect similar treatment. The victim was certain he meant to kill her. The Somali had her in a chokehold for four minutes, and did not willingly release her; she only survived because she managed to finally pull his arms from off her neck and to scream for help. In a mere 3½ years, this man with a long criminal record will be back on the streets. As Geert Wilders said of the judges’ decision not to convict him for attempted murder, “This country is sick.”

Lawlessness in our courts is only going to increase. A man was shot because he was passing a stranger on a walk way and he happened to make eye contact with the man who then shot him for that reason. In the New Testament Bible in Matthew Chapter 24 the Lord tells His disciples what it will be like in the days just before HE returns. Matthew Chapter 24 is on the news. The most exciting thing Jesus said is that the generation alive to see Israel once again become a nation after 2,000 years WOULD NOT PASS BEFORE HE RETURNS. Israel became a nation again by UN Resolution 181 on May 14, 1948. The 1948 Generation WILL STILL BE ALIVE WHEN JESUS RETURNS. That generation is 78 years old now. You can see we have very little time left before Jesus returns. Please ask Him now to come into your life. You will forever be3 glad you did.

Your ideas on the subject matter are wrong. He **knew** what was going to happen; He knew when He was going to die; He knew Judas would betray Him, He knew Peter would deny Him, and He knew Peter would “return” to follow Him faithfully.
Jesus knew full well that the “times of the Gentiles” would be a time of hard times for the Jews. He Knew Jerusalem would fall to the Roman armies. He knew that the army would put up ‘pointed stakes’ to make it impossible for the Jews to escape the City. He told His followers to leave before that happened.
He knew that the Jews would be allowed to return to Israel.
He promised to return and set all matters straight.
You are not required to believe any of it, but not believing doesn’t make you right in your ideas.

My understanding is that the Greek word translated “accomplished” or “happened” in Matthew 24:34 can also mean “initiated”, so I believe that the generation in question was the disciples to whom He spoke, and that, because in Joel 2:28-32, the text on which Peter preached at Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit is given as the prequel to “the great and terrible Day of the Lord”, therefore we should view Acts 2 as the fulfilment of Matthew 24:34.
Having said that, I do believe that the Lord Jesus will return soon – I just don’t think that it can be demonstrated from Matthew 24:34.

Compulsory psychiatrist treatment of a pious Muslim must be something to witness, I’d like to see a video of it. All the conclusions the shrink came to about the Muslim: hates women, feels both inferior & superior, hates non-Muslims, wants to kill Jews etc etc. It’s all fundamental Islamic teachings, do you put in your conclusion the subject is completely nuts, or just a pious Muslim? Dutch judges are a disgrace. Just like in the UK, people, lawyers (van Kessel, coronavirus lawsuit against Gates, Bourla, Rutte, etc.) and even politicians (FvD van Meijeren for “incitement”) are now being dragged before the courts and convicted. Pure political show trials. Criminals with a migrant background are pampered, while Dutch people are severely punished for the same offenses. Muslim/migrant perpetrators of attacks/rapes/murders of young girls/women are seen as sick, confused, unfamiliar with/unable to understand Dutch culture. Instead of harsh punishments and deportation, they are treated with pity— “they are also victims” – low sentences and admission to a psychiatric clinic (Suspect suffered from impaired development or mental disorder/reduced accountability at the time of the offense . . . Judges are clearly unaware of the violent and misogynistic content of the Koran)

Mental illness has been an EXCUSE for decades. It is basically the lefts “get out of jail free card”!
Also notice the pattern? They are saying every Muslim from foreign lands are mentally ill. But at same time they allow these people into their countries. Why would they do that?
