A third clip shows a boy in a cropped top lying silent on the grass, his hands shielding his face as he is repeatedly stomped on and called a “gay dog”, while one attacker shouts “Dawlatul Islam” — Arabic for Islamic State (IS).
ABC also doesn’t bother to explain that they’re asserting the presence of an Islamic State in Australia. They’re imposing Islamic law.
Investigators also discovered links to Mr Haddad, who had delivered violent antisemitic and homophobic lectures at Al Madina Dawah Centre, describing homosexuality as “punishable by death” under an Islamic state.
Eventually they’ll get around to the killing part.
A two-year ABC investigation into the reawakening of IS can reveal the attackers in the videos were linked to the same terrorist network as Naveed and Sajid Akram, the father and son responsible for the Hanukkah massacre that killed 15 people at Bondi Beach in December.
Five teenagers have so far been convicted over the bashings.
Several of them congregated around a radical Bankstown prayer hall, Al Madina Dawah Centre, which was ordered to close after the Bondi shooting.
Police evidence connected members of the group to two of Australia’s most influential pro-IS figures: spiritual leader Wisam Haddad and alleged youth recruiter Wassim Fayad.

With a Victorian parliamentary inquiry into so-called Grindr attacks announced last week, there are now calls for a national response to anti-LGBTQIA+ hate crimes, as well as urgent measures to protect events like this weekend’s Sydney Mardi Gras.

Now ordinary gay people are uninterested in anything political that is not gay related.
But gays marching for “Palestine” and for “Hamas” does have a gay connection which is that Israel practices gay rights and does nothing to interfere with a gay person living his life in Israel while Gaza like all Islamic areas in the world, hate gays and see no reason NOT to beat them, jail them and make life miserable for them.

I hadn’t heard anything about this either on the channel 7 news or the talkback radio station I often listen if I’m out driving. The ABC, the Australian broadcasting corporation, based on the BBC, and completely paid for by Australia’s taxpayers is a far left propaganda outfit that wouldn’t waste a minute of my time on, so I’m surprised to see them cover this although maybe it is because gays were attacked is the reason for the coverage. Good to see some coverage of it.
