Apparently, Americans must give up their dogs to avoid appearing “Islamophobic.”
Outrage against Rep. Randy Fine (R-Fla.) is the left’s outrage du jour. The rage mob swung into action after Fine wrote: “If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one.”
Yeah, that was it. He didn’t say “Kill them all” or even “Deport them all.” He didn’t recommend any action at all. He was actually responding to an X post from far-left, pro-Hamas activist Nerdeen Kiswani. In response to a news item about two grocery stores removing people with dogs, Kiswani wrote: “Finally, NYC is coming to Islam. Dogs definitely have a place in society, just not as indoor pets. Like we’ve said all along, they are unclean.”
Kiswani herself got some heat for this, and retreated into claiming lamely that it was a “joke.” The joke, however, happens to accord fully with Islamic law, which forbids ownership of dogs except for hunting. Islam hates dogs, and New York City now has an observant Muslim mayor who is friendly to Kiswani. She seems to have wanted to give him a little nudge in the direction of Sharia.
One Islamic tradition states that angels avoid visiting homes where there are dogs: “Once Gabriel promised the Prophet (that he would visit him, but Gabriel did not come) and later on he said, ‘We, angels, do not enter a house which contains a picture or a dog.’” (Sahih Bukhari 4.54.50)
Another records that Muhammad ordered that dogs be killed: “Abdullah (b. Umar) reported: Allah’s Messenger ordered the killing of dogs and we would send (men) in Medina and its corners and we did not spare any dog that we did not kill, so much so that we killed the dog that accompanied the wet she-camel belonging to the people of the desert.” (Sahih Muslim 3811)
Yet another states: “Ibn Mughaffal reported: The Messenger of Allah ordered killing of the dogs, and then said: What about them, i. e. about other dogs? and then granted concession (to keep) the dog for hunting and the dog for (the security) of the herd, and said: When the dog licks the utensil, wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time.” (Sahih Muslim 551)
But the response to Fine makes it clear that leftists believe that Muslims add so very much to American society that if Muslims want us to give up our dogs, we must comply with alacrity. NBC News reported Monday that “in a statement, the Council on American-Islamic Relations pointed to its previous condemnation’s [sic] of Fine’s past comments on Gaza and Hamas, adding that ‘leaders of Congress across the political spectrum should demand his resignation, which is long overdue.’”
Well! If the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) demands your resignation, leftist officials will line up to demand it as well. Rep. Robert Garcia (D-California SSR) raged at Fine’s “disgusting Islamophobia and dangerous bigotry” and added dutifully that “he should be forced to resign.”
Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) demanded that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) “reprimand” Fine “immediately,” and claimed that he had “repeatedly dehumanized Muslims without consequence.”
Not to be outdone, the destroyer of California, 2028 presidential hopeful Gavin Newsom, gave Fine a sterling example of his eloquence and graciousness: “Resign now, you racist slob.”
Like virtually all leftists, Newsom doggedly pretends that Islam is a race or Muslims are all of one race. In reality, there are Muslims, and Islamic jihadis, of all races. And what everyone who is charging Fine with “Islamophobia” and “bigotry” is ignoring is the fact that Islamic law, Sharia, is political, supremacist, expansionary, and violent. If we continue to ignore this fact, we will be subsumed under its hegemony, and our new overlords will not hesitate to engage in acts against us that leftists term “bigotry” today, but won’t be doing so then.
Also, there are the obvious rejoinders to all the faux outrage over Fine’s statement: dogs never flew any planes into buildings, women don’t have to fear rape by dogs when they go out at night, dogs aren’t declaring their imminent takeover and the subjugation of the natives, and on and on. No leftist, of course, will acknowledge any of that. In raging at Fine, they’re busy pretending that Islam is no more dangerous than Methodism, and that it’s all about disliking “brown people.”
This strategy will backfire on them, and it will do so, paradoxically, right at its moment of victory, when leftists discover, to their horror, that the “Islamophobes” were right, and the leftists themselves are the next jihadi target.

The apologist are out there right away; but look it up and it’s clearly the case, Dogs are listed as “najasa” translation filth in Reliance of the Traveler, a form of Sharia handbook, that shows dogs along side pigs, and other forms of physical impurity like alcohol, feces, urine, vomit. Actually these things are considered cleaner than dogs and pigs. So the “joke” was anything but, and just a cover, lie a child who misjudges a situation and says “I was just kidding” after the fact to dodge accountability. In contrast here we have someone standing up and saying the obvious, I actually wrote him an email, as you can do with representatives in a representative form of government to tell him he’s got this right and to stand tall in the wind and he will prevail.

The majority of Muslims do not like dogs per the Koran, some Muslims have them as pets even in the middle east.
New Yorkers who voted for him will reap what they sow and it’s only the start. Maybe its enough to start a recall and have another election.

All of Randy Fine’s GOP colleagues should recognize this context that Robert described above, and stand by him, and make that censure go down in flames. Given how narrow the majority is, though, and a number of islamophilic Republicans in Congress, I wouldn’t count on that happening!

There is a guy in my neighborhood who has at the least half a dozen dogs. Big ones.
Besides what the dogs *don’t do,* what about all of the things they *do.*
They help police look for missing people. They help police look for dead bodies so these can be returned to their loved ones for burial.
They guide the blind and help other challenged people get about their daily lives. They alert to dangers…fires in the home, snakes, etc.
Border guys use them to sniff out dangerous materials as do airport security guys.
Dogs warn people in their homes that prowlers, burglars, rapists are near.
Dogs have alerted their owners to health issues, warning of seizures and stroke.
Dogs rescue people in various ways….accidents, floods, and carry Alaskans across frozen lakes.
And they keep lonely people company, as well as help some criminal offenders to accept changes when they are given the opportunity to train seeing eye./hearing ear dogs.
Now, compare that to what muzzies do muzzies whine, complain, commit hoaxes, lie, rape, steal (we all know about the fraud by now), and murder their family members, and strangers.
And when they gain power, they restrict the freedoms of other people who refuse to bow down to their beast.
I choose dogs. I was bitten once. But, I still choose dogs.
