Iran: Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps top dog says ‘America has certainly been defeated… The U.S. is finished’

Emboldened by Trump’s weakness and empty threats, the Islamic Republic is increasingly arrogant and aggressive. As the mullahs understand the world only in terms of strength and weakness, and now see the Trump administration as weak, expect more aggression against the U.S. and Israel.

General Mohammad Reza Naghdi, senior advisor to the IRGC Commander-in-Chief, told SNN.ir (Iran) on February 11, 2026 that “the United States is finished.” He said that the U.S. would not be able to do a “damn thing” even if it deployed 12 aircraft carriers near Iran, adding that America is incapable of carrying out any aggression against the country. Naghdi claimed that the United States is already drowning in frustration and global humiliation, and that President Trump is mired in the Epstein scandal.

Mohammad Reza Naghdi: “Even if the United States deploys all of its 12 aircraft carriers near us, it won’t be able to do a damn thing. America has certainly been defeated and is incapable of any aggression. Therefore, it should focus on its own domestic affairs. It should complete the deployment [of the National Guard] in its own states.”

Interviewer: “How can our officials frustrate America’s [plans]?”

Naghdi: “America is already drowning in frustration and global humiliation. The U.S. President is currently mired in the Epstein corruption scandal. Also, America’s relations with its closest allies, like Canada and Europe have deteriorated to a level that is on the brink of war. The United States is finished.”

      Could be. In fact, by seeming to drag his feet on this, Trump may have faked America’s detractors – European Leftists in particular – into supporting the Iranian protestors, as many of them are now doing. Yesterday or so, the EU finally declared the IRGC a terrorist organization, which is like hell freezing over. I daresay that had he plunged right in immediately, there would have been a lot of opposition to him both here and abroad. Whereas they got bored waiting for him and then turned their attention to the islamic regime

      I’d normally be fine w/ such a political masterstroke, if it weren’t for the fact that it has cost upto 50,000 Iranians their lives

      • Thanks for your reply, Infidel. Figuring out Trump is not an easy task. Better this way overall I would argue though this doesn’t mean Trump gets everything correct. Hope he will here with Iran.

  2. Trump dithering about a possible “limited strike” . . . Dammit man! As we say in powerlifting “Go heavy or go home!”

    What better way to reinforce regime’s deluded self-i age of divine invincibility than a “limited strike?!” The idea of incremental pressure was the failed McNamara doctrine that lost us the war in Viet Nam.

    Maybe the only thing that will straighten his spine is if the IRGC carries out a mass causality attack on the United States.

  5. From Baghdad Bob to Tehran Tony. From 1980 to 1988 Iran and Iraq fought each other to a standstill with casualty estimates ranging from 1 million to 2 million. Iran just isn’t that good at war. They should stick to terrorism instead.

    The US doesn’t pull out its latest weapons for minor battles nor sell them to allies until they are proven in battle. And some are kept silently for special future needs.

    Saddam and his propagandist were loudmouths until the carpet bombing began. I’m expecting something in Iran that surprises us all – likely, the shutdown of Iran”s oil production and delivery.by new methods.

He is attempting to allow the diplomatic process to play out But if and when the US does strike, if the strikes do not include the coastal oil export/platforms that Iran uses to fund it’s islamofascism, which by the way I have NEVER seen called for by an ‘expert’. then it will never be serious.

    • The result of any war has to be regime change. After that, the last thing we should do is cripple Iran. The populace is already peak anti-islamic, and like w/ the (since squandered) opportunity w/ Russia, there is an opportunity to get Iran completely out of dar ul islam and have a prosperous infidel ally in that part of the world, b/w Israel and India. Instead of destroying any chances of them becoming prosperous again, we should end the sanctions on them once the regime falls, and let them recover in all aspects of their lives – economic, social, political and so on. Once they do, we can be less dependent on their mohammedan neighbors across the Gulf

  12. This guy reminds me of a bully kid when I was growing up. The bully pushed and shoved and yelled profanities until a little boy kicked his ass down the street, never to be heard from again. Iran’s leaders and military are so out classed they have no chance of survival. Could they harm the United States? Most likely they have agents and supporters in the US who could do terrorist attacks. Hopefully our government know who and where they are and can stop them. In todays open borders world there is always a risk.

    • Actually, both Russia and China have been distancing themselves from Iran. Don’t get deceived by the naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman. Russia recognizes what the trends are in Iran, and they have even less interest in propping up Khamenei than they did Assad. If anything, they’d probably like to retain a good relationship w/ the next government of Iran, be it the transition government, Pahlavi or a new republic

      As for Beijing, they are miffed at Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz this week: it was their supply that was affected. As a result, even they have now stopped bankrolling this regime

      In fact, in the last few days, Iran has been verbally lashing out against both Moscow and Beijing
