Iran’s supreme leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, has warned that any U.S. attack would “spark a ‘regional war’ in the Middle East.” The Islamic Republic has also threatened an “unprecedented” attack “at the heart of Tel Aviv.”
Operation Rising Lion was swift and powerful, but there was more that Iran kept hidden than what was known to the world: its underground missile cities that have now been at least partially revealed. Reuters reports that there are at least five underground missile cities in Iran, located in various provinces, and that “Iran has the largest stockpile of ballistic missiles in the Middle East, according to the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence.”
The Center for Strategic and International Studies states that “the arsenal encompasses multiple long-range missiles that can reach Israel.” It may well be the reason why Trump has stalled on attacking the Islamic Republic amid its murder of tens of thousands of its own citizens who were protesting against the Islamic regime.

After Operation Rising Lion, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasted that Israel had removed two immediate existential threats: the threat of nuclear annihilation and, in his words, the threat of annihilation by 20,000 ballistic missiles. “Had we not acted now, the State of Israel would soon have faced the danger of destruction,” Netanyahu said.
Eight months later, Israel is once again warning the world that Iran’s ballistic missile program threatens the entire region. Tehran insists the issue is a “red line” in negotiations with the United States and, at least publicly, refuses to discuss it. The very fact that Washington plans to continue talks despite Iran’s refusal has raised concerns in Israel.

No point trying to militarily take those out. Just topple the regime, let a transition government take over. Reza Pahlavi has already promised an end to the nuclear and missile programs, and the US & Israel can work w/ him on what Iran’s defense posture should be – not against US/Israel, but against other potential enemies around it – Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. A future Iran shouldn’t be completely disarmed: it should be capable of preventing another islamic conquest from outside

The islamic regime is collapsing. They are in no position to prolong any war. Once their regime falls, they will be fugitives from the new Iranian regime, and would probably be in hiding in Iraq, Pakistan or anywhere else
