New in PJ Media:
Muslims have wanted to conquer and Islamize Europe for centuries. Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, is said to have predicted that the armies of Islam would one day conquer Constantinople and Rome, which at the time this story was composed, were the two foremost cities in Christendom. Muslims did indeed conquer Constantinople in 1453, and more than one Muslim cleric in our own age has said that time has come, and it will soon be Rome’s turn.
Nowadays, however, the warriors of jihad are not besieging the cities of Europe and attempting to breach their walls. Instead, the conquest is taking place in a vastly different manner. Leftist open-borders policies have allowed millions of Muslims to stream into Europe, where the European left’s dogged commitment to “diversity” and “multiculturalism” has foreclosed on any effort to convince the migrants to assimilate and adopt European values. Meanwhile, as adherents of a supremacist ideology, those migrants are doing just the opposite of assimilating.
The latest example of this is a dispute in Italy over a most unthreatening item, a plastic pig. The European news service Remix News reported Thursday that “a plastic pig displayed in the window of a newly opened delicatessen on the Piazza dei Signori in the Italian city of Padua has triggered a local controversy after a senior representative of the city’s Muslim community called for its removal, arguing that it is offensive and inappropriate.”
The loutish pig in question is actually the Italian cousin of the happy, chef’s hat-wearing pigs that adorn the signs of barbecue joints all over our own fair land, and is no more offensive and inappropriate than they are. But if you’re trying to establish and enforce the principle that everyone must always and in every case bow to Islamic sensibilities, then the Padua pig might end up becoming a thorn in your side.
Remix notes that the pig, “placed in the window of the deli Mortadella… e Non Solo, is used to advertise the shop’s sandwiches and cured meats, which are primarily made from pork.” Nothing offensive or inappropriate about that, but Salim El Mauoed, who is the regional vice president of the Muslim community in Padua, nevertheless “urged both the shop’s owners and local authorities to intervene, describing the display as ‘in bad taste’ and offensive to Muslims who pass through the area.”
Now, you might notice that “Salim El Mauoed” is not exactly a conventional Italian name. The man is from somewhere else, yet he does not hesitate to dictate to the Paduans regarding the kind of items they are permitted to have in their shops.
There is more. Read the rest here.

To note once again, the idea of kashruth, for observant Jews has gone on far longer and is more extensive than the Islam halal. And nowhere would it ever be considered ‘kosher’ to force a non jew to remove any symbols of their foods. It has never been so and similarly on the fast days of Judaism ( there are about six) no where has anyone ever been intimidated or demanded to observe said observances. I think that according to one of the great sages of Torah from a thousand years ago, who lived in france, that it was considered incorrect to even say, if one was a kosher observer, that they hated pork. One was obligated to simply say that they would probably enjoy pork but that they were forbidden by Kosher law from partaking. Anyone notice the differences between Kashruth and Halal? And no one ever points this out in the public sphere to bring out the obvious tyranny of Halal upon ‘others’ which should be so noted along with the cultural approbation given to Halal even though it is used as a tyranny against others.

It started years ago w/ Piglet of Winnie the Pooh. It should have been squelched then but wasn’t. Now, mohammedans are even more brazen about their demands

More pigs in more shop windows, including those not trading in pork, would be a good start to both letting muslims know they’d better get used to it and to putting the government on notice that they’d better start defending their own.

Yes, HP
I recall the woman in the U.K. who had some ceramic pigs in her house window and the muzzies made a big fuss, as if she had no business in her own home to express her own feelings.
and muzzies have complained about Porky Pig and those kids’ books featuring Peppa.
And no one has told them to myob.
Pigs have more sense than do devout muzzies. Pigs have more value to humans than do devout muzzies.
I have read of people being awakened from sleep by their pet pig due to the home being on fire. and one woman who had serious health issues being saved because her pet pig went outside her home and alerted someone, getting that person to help the ill woman inside.
More pigs in more windows and tell the muzzies ‘get over it’ and “Show some respect” to your hospitable hosts who allowed you in their country…to walk free. And if the can’t learn to show respect, they should go home where there are no pigs.

And cleaner, too.

Yes, James. Thank you.
As a teen, I had to take care of a huge adult hog. He was so clean, there was no smell around him. It broke my heart when my father killed him.

Yes, sh, a muz will beat and rape a child, but not touch a pig. A pig is preferable.

Thank you, HP.

Should call the pig mohammed as compensatory mark of respect.
They’ll like that.

Observing Muslim sensibilities is submission.

I am very conscious of the fact that the expression “First they came for…..” is not a laughing matter. You have, Robert, skilfully converted this statement into a serious, yet humourous reminder of the very serious threat to the West. Thank you.

This makes me think about all those times when muzzies were ordering food….fish sandwiches, pizza, chicken, etc. and made the claims that they were served bacon…intentionally….by some ‘hater’ at the fast food place.
To me, it’s like this pig in the window story; wanting to stop infidels from having what infidels, enjoy eating.
They fuss, fume and whine in order to “come after” all who don’t worship their beast. It’s a weapon the same as using sharp knives are weapons.

Muslim’s if you don’t like the pig don’t look at it and walk down the other side of the street, just as I do when I see you. Other wise go kiss a pigs ass.
