What better place for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-McSorley’s Wonderful Saloon) to accuse the Jewish state of “genocide” than Munich, where the Nazis got their start, in the real genocide that led to the deaths of six million Jewish men, women, and children. And when a good Democrat comes along to slap her down — there are fewer Democrats in the mold of Senator Henry Jackson every year — let us praise them. A spectacular example is Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania. He has just delivered a blast of criticism at AOC that deserves the nation’s thanks.
But first let’s remember what AOC said in Munich: “AOC accuses Israel of ‘genocide’ while in Germany — the home of the Holocaust: ‘Shocking ignorance,’” by Shane Galvin, New York Post, February 14, 2026:
“Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told a crowd in the German city where Nazism was born that US aid to Israel enabled a “genocide” in Gaza, galling critics who called her comments “preposterous.”
Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made the outrageous claims while speaking at a town hall at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, where six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust — capping off an appearance marred by policy gaffes and garbled speeches.
“To me, this isn’t just about a presidential election. Personally, I think that the United States has an obligation to uphold its own laws, particularly the Leahy laws,” the lawmaker said Friday.
The Leahy Laws prohibit the US from funding “foreign security force units when there is credible information that the unit has committed a gross violation of human rights.”
“And I think that personally, that the idea of completely unconditional aid, no matter what one does, does not make sense. I think it enable a genocide in Gaza,” she added….
“I think it enabled a genocide in Gaza.” A disgusting charge, for AOC should know that the essential element of the crime of genocide is “intent.” Did Israel intend to kill all the Palestinians in Gaza? We know that the IDF could have done so, had it wanted to, in a week or two of bombing.
And then Senator Fetterman answered AOC: “John Fetterman slams anti-Israel ‘rot’ in Democratic Party, rejects AOC’s claims of Gaza ‘genocide,'” by Madison Colombo, Fox News,
Those figures are inaccurate. The latest figures are that 36,500 protesters were killed by the regime, and 300,00 Iranians were wounded. More than 56,00 have been arrested.
AOC is no doubt hoping to make a presidential run in 2028, or if that fails, to be taken on board as a running mate for Gavin Newsom — physically, a striking couple, but morally, intolerable — so she needs to be cross-questioned now by journalists. A few questions for AOC are in order. Whether they will be asked, however, is another matter.

Ah good ole AOC. I would trust her ability not to screw up a scotch and soda, but nothing beyond that! Are you aware of her geography prowess? https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/02/aoc-widely-mocked-after-she-faceplants-world-stage/

So, and I have twice directly asked Senator Fetterman himself at his website the following query, to wit, why not declare yourself an Independent and caucus with the Republicans as Angus King of Maine and Bernie Sanders of Vermont caucus with the Democrats, even though also officially Independent? No need to switch parties I conveyed to him. I added that if he did this the Republican Party in Pennsylvania should not run a candidate in PA for the Senate in 2028 but instead back Fetterman for re-election in said year
And I got responses from his office to the effect that, oh yeah, get this, Biden did all kinds of wonderful things while President. Yep, this is what I got back from Senator Fetterman’s office—twice.
.
Conclude accordingly. I have myself to the effect that Senator Fetterman is something far less than many conservatives think he is. Yeah.

He has been great on Israel, no question about it! But on most domestic issues, he’s on the same page as his party. If his partymen were sensible and looked at his voting record, they’d conclude the same and happily let him be. Only problem: he doesn’t line up w/ the Intifada caucus of his party, and so they’ll have the knives out for him

As a life long resident of PA, who has followed Festerman`s political career, since he was mayor of Braddock, I can tell you that, although I, as an American Jew, I, appreciate Festerman`s support for Israel, he has always been, and, continues to be, a far leftist. Just check his senatorial voting record, as, he votes 95% of the time, with his fellow dems!!

Rebels for unsupportable causes can garner much draft of newsprint, other media, and come to believe the majority thinks as themselves. That can work on a local level to elect a congressperson but fails at the national level. When you see persons with a ring in the nose or eyebrow, even without the protest signs, you still know how they will vote and they are a minority.
The last knee-jerk-elected US president was Carter, who was perhaps our most personally moral President. Yet he was unable to make the decision to consistently use force when iran took our citizens hostage. As soon as it was obvious that Reagan would be President, the tough-talking Iranian Regime knew the jig was up and it better return the hostages.
AOC would be unelectable at the national level when her ideas, anti-semitic and communist, received a thorough national airing. We wouldn’t elect AOC, Sharpton, Talib, Omar, Pressley, Ellison, Waters, etc for President or Vice President, because their niche-issue thinking isn’t wide enough to consider all Americans equally. We saw enough of that with Obama. They would do exactly what they accuse those who won’t accept their point of view, of doing.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Do you really think AOC would be unelectable? I think she’d easily win all the states that voted Kamala: I can’t think of anyone who voted for Kamala who’d vote against AOC. Then will come the battleground states, and there, it could be anyone’s game

Just wondering, in what capacity was AOC in at the Munich Security Conference, i.e., who was she representing?
somehistory says
James, I too would like to know the answer to your question. What business did she have there?
Jerry says
She’s Fascistic Socialist. So, she was on a pilgrimage to the Father Land to see just were Fascism and Socialism started. After all, the National Socialist Workers Party, aka NAZI Party, was started in Munich Germany.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Oh, it was an occasion to travel somewhere at taxpayer expense. She and Riley (are they still together?) probably had a good opportunity for some foreign R&R

” a striking couple.” I disagree unless it’s to ‘strike them’ from any office.
carpediadem says
She accused Israel of genocide in the city where “Palestinians” mass murdered Israeli athletes in 1972.

Yes…oh, the irony.

AOC must be voted out of office. AOC is very good at seducing the voter with sparkling looks and smile. AOC is a snake in the apple tree. I recall her touring in Nevada, vacationing in Florida during the COVID mess. What good was any of that for her constitutes? What good was this appearance in Germany for her constitutes? She is only interested in ever increasing power. She is a vampire.

What do you expect? Her constituents are brain dead morons.
