For two years, Israel has been insisting that two terror groups, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, have been using hospitals in Gaza to hide both weapons and combatants, and that is why the IDF has taken over some of them to seize the former and attack the latter. Now, after insisting for so long that the Israeli charge was baseless, Doctors Without Borders — Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) — has admitted that, indeed, one of the largest hospitals still functioning in Gaza, Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, has been a base for terrorists, armed and masked, and as a consequence, has halted its operations there. The international humanitarian group Doctors Without Borders has publicly acknowledged that armed individuals — many of them masked — were present inside the large compound of Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, citing intimidation of patients, arbitrary arrests, and suspected weapons movement as reasons for halting some of its work there.
The admission, buried in a rarely referenced FAQ page on the group’s website published last month, lends factual support to claims long asserted by Israeli authorities about the use of medical facilities by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists during the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
MSF has now admitted that the Israeli charge about terrorist using Gazan hospitals is correct, but at the same time tried to bury that information in a “FAQ page on its website,” hoping it would not attract attention. And it hasn’t — the news so far has not appeared anywhere in the mainstream media outside of Israel.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), which is French for Doctors Without Borders, said it has suspended all “non-critical medical operations” at Nasser Hospital as of Jan. 20, 2026, citing “concerns regarding the management of the structure, the safeguarding of its neutrality, and security breaches.”

The Algemeiner has previously documented claims acknowledged by the Palestinian Authority that Hamas summoned Gazans to the Nasser compound for interrogations and that militants threatened hospital staff.
Terrorists from both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, an allied group in Gaza, have confessed that they took over hospitals across the enclave, using the medical facilities to hide military activities, launch attacks, and hold hostages kidnapped during their Oct. 7, 2023, invasion of and massacre across southern Israel.
In the FAQ disclosure, MSF did not explicitly identify the armed men or link them to specific groups. But by reporting the presence of masked fighters, intimidation of civilians, and suspicion of weapons movement within the hospital compound, MSF’s account aligns with Israeli officials’ long-standing narrative that medical facilities have not been strictly neutral zones….
Perhaps the MSF thought that by finally admitting to the presence of “masked men” with arms operating freely in Nasser Hospital, it could continue to operate in Gaza after March, but that ploy will not work. What the Israelis must now do is to publicize far and wide the MSF’s admission about Nasser Hospital, and insist that the MSF come clean about the other hospitals in Gaza where the IDF has found armed terrorists. At the UN’s General Assembly, Israel’s representative Danny Danon should read out the MSF’s statement on what it had found at Nasser Hospital, that will then be hard to ignore. Finally, after more than two years of denials by the MSF about terrorists using hospitals in Gaza, the truth about the largest one has now come out. Spread that truth hither and yon.

You do not need conformation from anyone after the IDF released the video, which I believe to be authentic. It has no obvious signs of editing or AI manipulation. If you told me that Hamas did not use a specific hospital or school or UNRWA building as a headquarters, command center, jihad base, etc., that would surprise me.
