Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen says America needs saving from “white Christian nationalism.”
“We’re talking about Sharia Law? …There’s so much we could be dealing with the constitution and protecting America. White Christian nationalist ideology has been put forward…” pic.twitter.com/TIP0Trz4Sc

Nearly twenty-five years after the 9/11 jihad attacks, the denial and willful ignorance regarding the nature and magnitude of the motivating ideology behind those attacks remains near-total. This is not because that ideology is obscure, or disputed, or hard to understand; it’s because there has been a concerted effort to conceal and obfuscate it, and to demonize, stigmatize, and silence those who dare to speak about it honestly.
This endeavor has been pursued so relentlessly that even today, there are people of power and influence who react with puzzled surprise and disdain when anyone speaks about that ideology, as if nothing could be more absurd than the idea that there are Islamic jihadis who want to kill Americans and subvert the American political system so that Sharia, Islamic law, can replace it. I met some of them on Tuesday.

People like him are the reason that antisemitism is on the rise on the Right. Make no mistake about it

Huh?

Was talking about people on the Right who now hate Israel b’cos of Leftist Jews like Steve Cohen here – and many others. Although ideally, they should focus their anger on those characters rather than on Israel, which doesn’t weigh one weigh or another in US politics

Christians have been blamed for bad things going on nearly 2 thousand years. Much like the Jews are slandered, Christians are also.
Christians who understand what Jesus meant when He said, “My kingdom is no part of this world,” realize that fighting to preserve the rulership of imperfect men will go nowhere with Christ.
But neither do Christians work to overthrow the various governmental powers.
Jesus told His disciples to “pay Ceasars things to Ceasar.”
However, Jesus also said, “The world hates you because it hated me first.” So Christians are hated, and blamed for things over which they have no control or involvement.
muzzies want to destroy the system of government in this country so they can rule with their system and force submission to satan the devil.
Christians refuse to bend to that force and for refusing, goons such as this cohen pol, blame them for the problems running rampant in the country.
Like the wife-beater who blames his spouse for the beatings he gives her.

He reminds me of Mr. Kruger on Seinfeld: “I´m not too worried about it.”

Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen:
76 years old, highly educated, but still dumb as a rock.

I think you’re under estimating him. IMO, he knows the truth, which those of his ilk MUST suppress.
He reminds me of the—not so dearly departed—Gerry Connolly.
James Lincoln says
PRCS USN (ret),
Yes, that could be true.
David Lakatos says
Sharia law, welcome to the 9th century.

“Ilhan Omar probe goes global with demand for info on hubby’s biz dealings in Kenya, Dubai and Somalia”
“The probe of “Squad” Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) husband Tim Mynett and his shady business ventures could go global.
House Oversight Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) wants the House Ethics Committee to look beyond the US at Mynett’s failed business ventures and include places such as Somalia, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates.”
And “Nigeria”…..where so many Christians are being slaughtered daily by ilhan elmi’s bro’s.
“Mynett’s investment firm Rose Lake Capital wanted to build solar panels in Africa and his main business partner received a $10,699 air ticket to Dubai after talks about a deal there, The Post has reported.”
