Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) is not designated a terrorist entity in America, but it should be.
The group advocates for a global Islamic caliphate, and inspires violence.
According to the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, HT is “an antisemitic organization that actively promotes and encourages terrorism, including praising and celebrating the appalling 7 October attacks.” It also “justifies and encourages violence and terrorism from other Islamist groups, particularly in areas it considers occupied by outside forces, e.g., Palestine and Kashmir.” So although it is widely stated that the group doesn’t preach violence, it does, just not in quite the same way as groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda.
HT is banned in many EU countries, as well as in the UK and in many countries in Asia and across the Middle East. It’s about time the group were outlawed in America. Too many Islamic hate preachers are allowed to run rampant as they spread their caliphate ideology and endeavor to destroy the American way of life.

Jordanian Hizb ut-Tahrir activist Dr. Mohammad Malkawi, also known as “Abu Talha,” said in his January 16, 2026 Friday sermon at the Noon Islamic Center (NIC) in Chicago, Illinois, that the entire Muslim nation has allowed the Al-Aqsa Mosque to be occupied by the Jewish state. He stated that it is now under the control of those “who were most cursed in the Quran,” people whom the prophets will curse for working against Allah. Malkawi prayed for the establishment of the Caliphate, in which the banner of Jihad for the sake of Allah will be raised.
Dr. Mohammad Malkawi: “Al-Aqsa, which, today, the entire Muslim world, without exception… I am talking about those who are in power. They let go of Al-Aqsa. They let it be occupied by the Jewish state. They let it be under the dominance of the people who were most cursed in the Quran. Allah gave them with so many prophets, and prophet after prophet will curse them, because they work against Allah. Now they control Al-Aqsa.

As a Jordanian he is living in what is the real state of Palestine which is demographically a Palestinian country but controlled by an outside tribe, the Hashemites whose native land is Arabia from which which they were driven out by a wild Yemenite tribe, the Saud and “given” the majority of the land of the Mandate of Palestine by the British administrators. That is the real history of the efforts of the British and Arabs to squeeze out the Jews. That strategy didn’t quite work but if seems the world, which is largely anti-Semitic, seems to agree with to the unfortunate Jewish people who despite having incontestable evidence to ownership of the land has met a very energetic propaganda machine saying that Jews are occupiers of “Palestinian” land. This is a laughable position because there never was any “Palestinian” people or nation in History. Yet that fact is bushed aside.
The present Palestinian people outside of Jordan have been given one right in this world by the mostly Arab Islamic world and that is to drive the Jewish people out of Israel. They have no other role in this world. If they demand anything other than that as their main focus they would be abandoned by the Arab world. After all it is their job to suffer but keep the “dream” alive despite having failed time after time and war after war. And there is always seems to be another loudmouth idiot like Mohammad Malkawi, to keep the Hate alive. And that is all “Palestinians” have – their Hate.

In April 2024, during Iran’s attack on Israel, Israel was intercepting Iranian missiles that flew near the Al-Aqsa compound. That would’ve been a great opportunity to explosively demolish the Al-Aqsa mosque and blame it on an Iranian missile strike. Throughout its history, that mosque was destroyed and rebuilt several times.

Banning this or that Islamic organization is a woeful and pathetic piecemeal endeavor (and so many times even this doesn’t occur as illustrated by this article) which doesn’t take into account that Islam in its entirety has always been, is now and will always remain a mortal enemy of Western Civilization—and to many other civilizations and societies, for instance to Hindu culture in the Subcontinent.
What will it take for mankind as a whole to realize that humanity got a major religion (yes, it’s a religion but a wicked one) which is inimical to wonderful things like a true Golden Rule for all, freedom of speech and true freedom of religion? Yes, what will it take?
The fact that Muslim-majority nations without exception (though the degree varies) disallow to this day full equality under the law to non-Muslims is just one example, among so many, that Islam is the one major faith which is supremacist and totalitarian.
