Venezuelans and lovers of freedom around the world are celebrating the end of Nicolás Maduro’s narco-terrorist, farther-than-far-left regime in Venezuela, but not everyone is thrilled. Zohran Mamdani, Maduro’s comrade who has just become mayor of New York City, is crestfallen, and let the world know that he was not at all pleased with what has happened. After all, if President Donald Trump could do this to one Marxist, what Marxist anywhere is safe?
At the time of the Maduro raid, Mamdani had just been mayor of New York City for two days, and here was the pro-freedom president of the United States showing that he takes a dim view of communist tyrants. What’s an incipient leftist authoritarian to do? He did what authoritarians always do: he sided with his crony, criticized his enemies (fancifully as usual), and laid claim to a position far beyond the one he actually occupies.

Mamdani was briefed because he was given a security clearance by the Trump administration. He should have been denied it as Rep. Andy Biggs of Az had requested.

I think he was briefed b’cos he is the mayor of the city where the charges against Maduro are being brought. I still think that should have been done in Florida, rather than New York

I think it is being done in NYC because it puts Mamdani on the spot. His hardcore base will demand he” do something”. Mamdani being the mayor can do little to nothing because these are federal charges based against an accused foreign terrorist Maduro .It will play out as Mamdani keep trying to please his base and still going to Washington hat in hand asking for federal funds to prop up his (Mamdani) communist ideas. It will hurt the democrats in the elections of 2026 further that their new hero is backing a communist tinpot dictator(Maduro) who is close with both China and Iran .It is a good chess move if Mamdani does nothing his base will be protesting running a hair on fire lunatics mode in the streets ,if he keeps mouthing off he hurts the rest of the democratic party in purple states (Pennsylvania for example and Ohio ) and cities .No matter there is no positive action for the drama kid Mamdani to take. He will look weak and lost ,Trump has drop him into deep political water and this soft soy boy never learn to swim in the hard knocks of politics. I do not think Mamdani’s benefactors will be pleased the behind the scenes people might just let him drown and find some other trojan horse to back in another part of the country. .Proof you can only get so much mileage out of a two bit shallow young unexperienced snake oil salesman who never cut the apron strings from his mother. He is 33 years old never did anything in his life his father is a hardcore communist his mother ran a film company bankrolled by people in Qatar. Mamdani peak on 1/1/2026 it is all down hill from there ,that is my hope for NYC and the rest of the country. The democrats have under estimated Trump again and over estimated their new “wonder boy”.
