The Biden administration advanced the Palestinian Authority (PA) as a partner for peace with Israel, although the PA is no different from Hamas, with the same goal of “resistance” to obliterate the Jewish state from the River to the Sea. The PA also funds a “pay-for-slay” program, in which jihad terrorists and the families of deceased jihadis are handsomely rewarded monetarily for murdering Israelis.
Under Phase 2 of Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan, not all Palestinians are happy with the creation of a committee of Palestinian technocrats assigned (supposedly) to “take over the day-to-day running of the territory for a transition period.” That’s because these Palestinian technocrats are supposed to be politically independent.
According to the New Arab, which supports the Palestinian “resistance” (from the River to the Sea):
Palestinian analysts warn that these arrangements, divorced from internal political legitimacy, risk repeating past failures whilst potentially liquidating what remains of Palestinian national aspirations.
The debate also exposes deeper fractures in Palestinian political life at a moment when the international community shows unprecedented sympathy for Palestinian statehood.
In another report from Dawn News, however, Palestinian factions have agreed to hand Gaza over to a technocrat committee.
According to a joint statement published on the Hamas website after a meeting in Cairo, the committee will manage basic services in cooperation with Arab countries and international institutions. The factions also agreed to unify their stance to confront challenges facing the Palestinian cause and called for a meeting to agree on a national strategy and revitalise the Palestine Liberation Organization as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.
This could spell trouble. The PLO was created for the sole purpose of liquidating Israel.
The Guardian also states that Palestinian factions “agree to let independent technocrat committee run Gaza… in cooperation with Arab brothers and international institutions”.
Until the Palestinians collectively declare the right of the Jewish state of Israel to exist; change the Palestinian National Charter to reflect this recognition; and also openly reject Hamas, there will be no peace. Any solution will be temporary, and Israel will be left to repeat history under a future American leader.
The Palestinians are zealous about a one-state solution, that is, the total obliteration of Israel. They call this, for propaganda purposes, “resistance” to an invented oppression.

You are exactly right Infidel. First, Witkoff ( who I believe speaks Russian to some unknown degree) was hijacked by Putin and wound up writing a pro-Russian script for the Ukraine. Then, Hamas told him off about the idea of disarming, essentially saying F the Trump Peace Plan.
Witkoff had no diplomatic experience and was an old friend and real estate associate of Trump years ago and Trump called him as an old friend and nothing else to his credit. Tough guys scare him and Putin and Hamas are exactly those people. Better Trump move him over to his Greenland project.

The last two words of the title of this above jihad watch article are “Palestinian technocrats.” Regarding the first of those two words, which is “Palestinian.”
That leads to a important question, which is “Are there really an ethnic or race of people who may be , rightly called the “ Palestinians” or is that just a hijacked term that the Arabs of the area in the Middle East now exclusively only to themselves without valid genuine proof that such a term is actually fitting for them.

The authors further explain that “The Roman Emperor Hadrian , following the second Jewish revolt led by Simon Kochba , changed the name of Israel to Syria Palestina which he took from the Hebrew word Pelesheth, which we know as Philistia .
