“Turkey said ‘very likely’ to join Saudi Arabia-Pakistan mutual defense pact,” Times of Israel, January 11, 2026:
Turkey is in advanced talks to join the mutual defense pact that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan reached in September, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity.
A pact of the three US-allied Muslim nations could potentially put Ankara under Islamabad’s nuclear umbrella.
Saudi Arabia, which does not have nuclear weapons, signed the original agreement with Pakistan — the world’s only nuclear-armed Muslim nation — in the wake of Israel’s botched September 9 strike on Hamas’s leadership in Qatar. The strike sparked alarm and outrage among Gulf nations.
Under the agreement, which did not directly address nuclear arms, an attack on one country is considered an attack against all. Turkey, which also hosts Hamas leaders, is “very likely” to join the agreement, Bloomberg said. Ankara hosts US nuclear weapons as part of its role in NATO, but does not have any of its own….

Pakistan doesn’t have a nuclear umbrella. All these years, people thought that India was afraid to go to war against them b’cos… nukes. But last year, after the jihad attack in Kashmir, India launched a quick series of attacks on Pakistan, taking out jihadist camps of Lashkar e Toiba and Jaish e Mohammad, as well as significantly damage the Pak military. In that war, Turkey provided drones to Pakistan to launch against India, which was the only “success” story of Pakistan – terrorizing border cities in India for nighttime bombing. B/w Turkey and Pakistan, Turkey clearly is the superior military, that has yet to be tested. A lot of militaries, such as Saudi Arabia and Russia have proven to be paper tigers: it remains to be seen whether that’s true about Turkey as well
Also, if Saudi Arabia is gonna make defense pacts w/ Pakistan, India should respond by degrading ties, and cutting any oil/gas imports from them. Step up what they’re buying from Russia, and once this regime falls, resume importing oil from Iran, which actually would be the best supplier for India. India does have bad memories of the previous Pahlavi regime, when Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi had friendship treaties w/ Pakistan. While Reza Pahlavi has said that he wants good relations w/ all his neighbors, chances are that a new Iran would co-operate internationally against jihad terror, and so India should take the chance and max out its importation of oil and gas from Iran and Russia, and just downgrade Saudi Arabia and Qatar

There is a US nuclear arsenal in Turkey. There would klikely be only minimal resistance if there was an Islamic takeover. Treating Turkey like an ally is an error as I think they are one Imam’s call away from becoming Sharia compliant under the Turkish dictator Erdogan.

But if the US troops in Incirlik were to evacuate Turkey, would the Turks know how to launch the nukes already there?
The US should close Incirlik, and move all personnel and gear to Greece or Bulgaria, both NATO members

We should’ve killed the Pak nuke baby in the cradle, as we’ve done to Iran. It’s such an enormous mistake to allow Pakistan, or ANY Muslims, to have nukes. We must neutralize the Pak arsenal STAT. There will come a day when we deeply regret not doing so.
Just a matter of time before those Pak nukes are misappropriated, either given to, sold to, or stolen by terror goon squads – or, a shahid Pak PM istishhads the Pak People to Jannah through a kinetic nuke war with their Indian neighbors and the rest of Dar al-Harb.
