Meanwhile, in Turkey, the Turks routinely tout ancient Greek Christian sites as if they were part of the Turkish national heritage, despite the fact that these sites flourished many hundreds of years before there were any Turks in Asia Minor at all. GoTürkiye, the Turkish government’s official tourism website, touts numerous Christian sites as destinations for visitors to the country: the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Shrine of the Virgin Mary in Ephesus, and even the Phanar, the headquarters of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople. The tragic irony of this is that many of these sites are ruins today, and the Christian population of Turkey is vanishingly small and steadily diminishing, because of Turkish genocides of Christians that the Turkish government steadfastly refuses to acknowledge. But they’re ready to skewer the Greeks for not paying due attention to the fact that they once invaded and occupied Greece, including the site of the Acropolis.

Here’s something for all Muslims and not just Turkish Muslims to consider: Ancient Greeks like Solon, Cleisthenes, Themistocles, Pericles, Aristophanes and Socrates would be appalled at the rank obedience extended to the fictional Allah and the adoration extended to that execrable Model Man, one Mohammed by name.
The ancient Greeks explored the parameters of freedom, whether in politics, philosophy, literature, early science, etc. The Islamic world has never explored the parameters of freedom except for a few nominal Muslims like Avicenna and Averroes, both of whom, it should be noted, were in trouble with close-minded Muslim authorities.
Islam is a recipe for the closing of the mind. Nothing could be more clear. One has only to look at how dismal the Islamic world has been for many centuries. Since around 1500 AD, after Islam during the medieval period parasitically sucked off what others produced, it could be asked what has the Islamic world contributed to mankind?
I say virtually nothing and herein I rest my case.

The only Turkish ‘heritage’ at the Acropolis in Athens is the fact that the Parthenon is not in pristine condition as it was when the Turks got hold of it. They used it to store their armaments, which went off!

Not only that, once muslims conquer a country, the country forever belongs to muslims, doesn’t matter if the non muslims later liberate the country. Maybe they don’t say it openly, but once the get back he country, they will say they have it back what should belong to them
