Does he actually plan to start pretending that the Islamic Republic of Iran has reformed and stopped mistreating its people, just as he has been pretending to have brought peace between Israel and the “Palestinians”? And now he has “respect” for this regime that only days ago reiterated its determination to murder him, and has murdered untold numbers of its own people? How long can America survive government by fantasy?

    Essentially, the regime plays a game of semantics, where protestors arrested for an illegal gathering are just imprisoned. But in the islamic republic, it’s usual procedure to reclassify the charges under other categories that do carry the death penalty. As a result, they can execute anyone they want to execute, by just changing the categories under which the charges are filed. Without there necessarily being any relations b/w the charges and under what they are categorized

    If this regime lasts long enough to pull off these stunts and carry out these executions, they’d have pulled a fast one over our “very stable genius”

  5. I will check that out.. I think he was being extremely sarcastic or deceptive. He cannot give away ANYTHING dealing w/ the MULLAHS. NOTHING..
    We are moving carrier ships into the area right now and Marco Rubio has been appointed and I can’t remember who else to deal w/ Gaza.. so indirectly w/ IRAN..
    NO, Trump is not going to let KHAMANI and the MULLAHS get away with this..

    • This is what we all hope, but Trump seem to be very influenceable by his allies in the region. In this case it seems that Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States convinced him to not attack because they don’t want a chaotic regime change in Iran. Ot could it be J.D: Vance? (I don’t trust him.) Last summer Trump foolishly stopped the Israelis from taking out the IRGC leadership.

      I also don’t like the unspecific way he phrased the threat against the Iranian regime. He should have said something like: “If you kill innocent protesters all IRGC commanders and all high clerics will have to be prepared to par the price in THEIR OWN blood. We have the capacity to and we will track you down.”

      On a positive note, Trump has some serious anti-Jihadists in his circle. Sebastian Gorka for instance is the terroristadvisor and Gorka is very close to Raymond Ibrahim and Douglas Murray who both knows that the problem is Islam, no more no less. Trump has reffered to the latter as the great Douglas Murray. No doubt Gorka have explained to Trump that Islam itself is the problem although in public Gorka has to talk only about jihadists.

    • It is really hard to believe that Trump would be that stupid.

      But if he doesn’t keep his promise he will in my book be one of the worst traitors in human history. From a moral standpoint far worse than Obama and the vegetable that occupied the Whitehouse during Covid. Worse than Jimmy Carter.

  8. The Iran Regime is just the Taliban in another package. As soon as the threat is over it’s back to the same old dictatorial rule and executions. You can almost hear the crane engines starting up.

    If the West simply controlled Islam by the same methods it uses on its own people, we wouldn’t have a problem with Islam because Muslims simply wouldn’t be allowed to live in the West. That has worked for Japan which is in no hurry to import cheap labor to replace a declining population as other nations have done — what it actually supplies is dependents, working the system. The West got a horde of social “salaries” to pay and a few workers, mostly unskilled.

    • Same here. I didn’t have the vote in 2016, but I voted for him both times – 2020 and 2024. But if he were constitutionally allowed to run again and did, I’d hesitate, unless it turns out by then that he did see off the islamic regime. But even then, his policy on Qatar and Turkey is very much found wanting

  10. Please, I very much want to be wrong on what I will say.
    I have more respect for Willy Brandt, the long ago West German chancellor who resigned not for doing anything wrong but by his intelligence agencies not vetting properly ,causing his vice chancellor being found to be a Soviet spy.
    Israeli spy Eli Cohen when caught as a spy in Damascus was the heir to Hafez Assad to rule Syria. Spy’s or traitors in any nation can reach power. Some were always spy’s and some get bought later on, and great change and flip flop occurs progressively worse. Older men sell out later more than younger ones.They make deals with the devil or bad people because their time is short to get what they want or they are simply blackmailed.
    I think both trump and netanyahu are traitors playing now a grand deception.
    And there is no way a better person can replace them any time soon. Yes, all that can reach the top are worse than them and why they remain.
    A wolf is a wolf so you know you are under attack. A wolf that looks like a sheep leaves you vulnerable.
    You must factor in the bible script. God allows this to get us where the prophesies say we will be.
    God does not tell them what to do. Satan does. God simply raises them up knowing what they in free will will do.
    I’m not going into various interpretations of prophesy as many opinions abound. I have mine and others have theirs.
    But, these men are leading us to hell on earth, rest assured. They can package poison so likable.

  12. I am not MAGA nor am I a Republican. My perspective is that of a conscientious constitutional conservative.
    I support this President and have voted for him three times in the past. However, someone or something unhealthy has his ear. First and foremost, the Iranian regime is untrustworthy and everything they represent is sprinkled with taqiyah. If he truly trusts they will stop the executions, he is mistaken. If the Iranian regime does not fall now, it never will.
    The President is also not showing best practices by allowing the rogue states of Turkey and Qatar to assist in the Gazan peace plan. This is a recipe for failure of his plan for peace in Gaza.
    I hope I am wrong about this President’s thinking on these matters…he is notorious for fading with his left hand as he delivers knockout punches with his right.

  13. Trump has to appear reasonable. Think of how he would look to the American left (who love and admire the gov’t in Iran) if Trump had attacked Iran anyway. The left would have lost its collective mind and called Trump a murderer and a power mad butcher who cant be trusted.

    • If Trump never intended to help the protesters, he should not have said that he would.

  14. It’s a very sad wonder just how anyone as intelligent as President Trump can be do gullible as to take the word of those disingenuous and outright lying tyrants in power Iran Iran that they had stopped the hanging of the peaceful Iranian protesters .
