He also asked what the killing was all about. He might have known, and identified those “terrorists” ten years ago, but not now. And he really isn’t doing anything effective to stop them, as recent news items demonstrate. There was a report of one U.S. strike, after which the jihad went on as before.
After all, Trump is close friends and collaborators now with Muslims who hold to the same world view as the jihadis who are massacring Christians in Nigeria that he can’t do much without angering his “friends” and miring himself in inconsistency.

I wonder whether the Board of Peace could come up w/ a plan to end the genocide of Nigerian Christians? If it could, it could do a one-up over the UN
mgoldberg says
Of course they will, they will creae a blue ribbon panel to examine the problems and come up with recommendations…….. which they will they let die a slow death.

As one says in court……Prove It.

“were annihilating”…..but what has he done lately?
destroy utterly….annihilate……They wouldn’t still be murdering and kidnapping and destroying property if they had been ”annihilated”….or if the “annihilating” was still ongoing.

I don’t know for sure what it is Somehistory but Trump doesn’t seem the same person since that bullet hit him in the ear, he’s like a different person these days. I was very disappointed with him when he encouraged the protesters in Iran to continue protesting assuring them, he will come to their rescue, and he did nothing. Apparently he has a military fleet heading for the Persian gulf and they are due to arrive early next week. Will he do anything, I just don’t know, so watch this space.
somehistory says
Yes, Jonn, we have to keep watching the news.

I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head. There has been a major transformation of Trump since that assassination attempt on him. Trump 45 had all the right instincts, but was surrounded by too many saboteurs, to the extent that he had to frequently fire people. Now, he generally has the right people around him, but makes too many whimsical decisions. This whole Greenland fiasco could have been handled b/w the State Department and the Danish Foreign Ministry behind the scenes, instead of being so loudly announced that it has resulted in souring relations b/w the US and Europe. This is one issue where even Republican congressmen are unafraid of saying that they’d vote against invading Greenland, even if they support acquiring it

When you think of it Infidel an attempt to murder you like is bound to have an effect. This is the reason his behaviour is so irrational at the moment.

John
You probably have a point there

You might be right, I loved his defiance, raising his fist after the attempt–but maybe this *did* change him…

Trump claims that ‘in Nigeria, we’re annihilating terrorists who are killing Christians’
I agree one million % what Robert Spincer wrote:
“After all, Trump is close friends and collaborators now with Muslims who hold to the same world view as the jihadis who are massacring Christians in Nigeria that he can’t do much without angering his “friends” and miring himself in inconsistency.”
Also, In Iran Muslims who be murdered over than 12 thousand for rejecting Islam and the sharia law.
No one of the western leaders are trying to protect them.
At the same time western leaders are protecting the Hijab who are covering Muslims women head.
James Lincoln says
At least Pres. Trump is aware of the slaughter of Christians by muslims in Nigeria and has at least taken some – although very limited – action.
He needs to do more – and encourage other Western countries to do more to help the Christians in Nigeria.
Following all legal protocol, many could be granted asylum in the United States due to their religious persecution in Nigeria.

This is true, James–no other leader is even mentioning this. So kudos for that.

How about Syria? Too late there.

I hope so–but I doubt that the Muslim-run Nigerian government is cooperating.
