The Peoples of Europe Must Overcome Their Fear

Islam is marching to victory in Europe: “The Islamification of Western democracies: The great, dangerous silent takeover – opinion,” by Eliyahu Haddad, Jerusalem Post, December 31, 2025:

The MB’s most successful strategy exploits the “Red-Green Alliance” – cooperation between Western progressive movements and Islamist organizations. This seems paradoxical: Progressives champion LGBTQ rights and gender equality – values fundamentally opposed to Islamic law. Yet thousands rallied behind “Queers for Palestine,” supporting movements that would execute them under Sharia.

The Muslim Brotherhood has proven adept at inveigling Western “progressives” into supporting them, even though under Sharia many of those same “progressives,” including those supporting homosexual rights, would be liquidated. “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson, but a foolish inconsistency is even worse, and these “progressives” who are supporting the Sharia apparently do not know how homosexuality is treated in Muslim lands.

The alliance works through shared opposition to Western civilization, capitalism, and particularly Israel – portrayed as the ultimate symbol of colonialism.

Israel is not a “colonial” power. The Jews in Israel inhabit the same land that they lived on 3500 years ago, and where they have maintained a continuous presence, albeit small at times, ever since. The true colonists of the Middle East are the Muslim Arabs, who swept out of the Arabian Peninsula and captured many peoples and many lands from Morocco to Persia.

Anti-Jewish hate crimes now represent 40% of all UK hate crimes. Polling shows 32% of French Muslims reject secularism, 22% consider Sharia superior to French law, and 52% of young French Muslims believe October 7 was justified.

The antisemitic crimes now being committed in the U.K. are almost entirely the handiwork of Muslim migrants, who carry with them, undeclared in their mental baggage, a deep hatred of Jews. In France, Muslims — including those who are of the second-generation, the children of migrants, do not easily secularize; one-third of French Muslims reject secularism, and that number is higher for the second than for the first generation of Muslims. More than a fifth of Muslims in France think Sharia is better than French law. And worst of all, more than half of young French Muslims — who are more militant than older Muslims — think the atrocities carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023, the mass rapes, tortures, mutilations, and murders, were justified. That alone should make one’s hair stand on end. How will it be possible, with views like that, to integrate such people into French society?

European legal architecture built on universal human rights makes immigration restriction nearly impossible without abandoning founding principles. Any attempt faces charges of racism….

The peoples of Europe must overcome their fear of being sullied as “racists” (by pointing out that Islam is not a race) and “Islamophobes” (by pointing out that a “rational fear” of Islam is justified, and does not constitute “Islamophobia”), and do what they must to preserve their own, Western civilization, which means to treat Muslims differently from non-Muslims, and to distinguish between Muslim migration, that must be halted, and non-Muslim immigration, that can be allowed to continue.

Instead of trying to block those political parties and leaders who want to restrict — i.e., end — further Muslim migration, the peoples of Europe should support them. Those parties — the National Rally headed by Jordan Bardella in France, the Alternative For Germany headed by Alice Weidel, the Party for Freedom headed by Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, the Reform Party of Nigel Farage in the U.K. — are all now ahead in their respective opinion polls, and their ascension to power will bring about the necessary restrictions on Muslim immigration that must be adopted throughout Europe if the relentless demographic jihad is to be defeated.

As Wilders warned in 2007: “Islam is the Trojan Horse in Europe. If we do not stop Islamification now, Eurabia will just be a matter of time.”

That Cassandra-like warning was made almost twenty years ago. Since then, the situation on the ground in Europe has only gotten worse: millions more Muslims are now inside Europe. But it appears that Europeans have awakened from “a deep dream of peace,” and now, shaking their puissant locks, are ready to support those leaders who are determined to rescue the West from creeping Islamization.

America has perhaps 20 years – one generation – to decide whether to follow Europe into civilizational replacement or implement the politically difficult but mathematically necessary policies to prevent it. The choice, for now, remains. But only for now.

More hopeful than the author of this article, I think that a “great replacement” of another sort is now about to happen in Europe, where the political elites responsible for the great folly of allowing in so many Muslims will within a year or two be replaced by those leaders — including Jordan Bardella, Alice Weidel, Nigel Farage, and Geert Wilders — who are determine to call a halt to Muslim migrants, to find ways to deport many of those already in their countries (for example, deporting all those who have been convicted of crimes, no matter how minor), and finally, to withhold all welfare benefits from migrants during the first five years of their residence, when they must be gainfully employed. That last requirement is sure to drive away a great many would-be Muslim economic migrants who were expecting upon entering Europe to immediately batten on a cornucopia of welfare benefits.

That’s what I’d call a good start.
