Even Sweden, hyper-liberal, hyper-tolerant, for so long a deep believer that immigration is a Good Thing, and “diversity” even better, has now had a good long look at what all those Muslim migrants who have arrived in Sweden over the last decade have meant for the people of Sweden, and has not liked what it saw. Sweden has now stopped all government grants to Islamic Relief Sweden (IRS), having concluded that people in IRS have links to violent terrorists. Sweden has officially stopped all taxpayer-funded grants to the aid organization Islamic Relief Sweden (IRS) following concerns that individuals within the group may have links to anti-democratic or violent activities. Over the past decade, the organization had received nearly 1.3 billion kronor (€121.2 million) from Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
In 2024 alone, IRS received 191 million kronor (€17.8 million), which accounted for almost 70% of its total revenue from public funds and private fundraising.
Sida confirmed that the organization does not meet the criteria ensuring there are no ties to violent extremism or anti-democratic behavior. “Since the government’s guidance clearly states that such connections are not compatible with support under these strategies, Islamic Relief Sweden has had its applications rejected within the framework of the partner selection processes for the CSO and HUM strategies,” explained Inga-Lill Hagberg, press secretary at Sida.
The suspected links were identified in a review by the Centre Against Violent Extremism (CVE), which found that individuals connected to IRS or its networks had or previously had connections to “violent extremism or anti-democratic environments,” including links to the United Islamic Associations in Sweden (FIFS) and the Islamic Association in Sweden (IFIS). Some of these links were through relatives.
IRS strongly rejected the allegations, describing itself as a politically independent humanitarian organization. “Islamic Relief has no links to any external political groups. We are a humanitarian actor, and our main mission is to reduce suffering, promote social justice, and support sustainable global development. We will continue this work as long as the need exists,” the organization stated in a press release….
An Islamic organization wouldn’t try to fool us, would it? Yes, it’s true that Muhammad said in a famous hadith that “war is deception,” but do you really think Muslims ry to follow Muhammad in all respects?
Neither funds from individual European nations, nor from the EU, should be given to any Muslim groups in Europe. These groups want to replace European laws with the Sharia. They make no secret of that. Some want to assert Muslim power in Europe through demography, others through violence. The Muslim Brotherhood, that favors violence, has its tentacles everywhere in Muslim groups that, like Islamic Relief, pose as purely humanitarian organizations, but its members know, as Muhammad said, that “Islam is to dominate and no to be dominated.”
Given that Muslims learn from the Qur’an that they are the “best of peoples” and non-Muslims are the “most vile of created beings,” why should those non-Muslims provide any support to the Muslims in their midst, who regard them with such contumely? Such a transfer of wealth to people whose religion teaches them to hate us makes no sense. The once unthinkingly generous Swedes have made a good start, cutting off those tens of millions of dollars that they had been giving annually to Islamic Relief Sweden. Now they must end completely their financial support to other Muslim associations in the country, and to Muslim migrants living large on the lavish benefits the Swedish welfare state provides. And may other European countries, especially the U.K., France, and Germany, follow suit.

To invoke an agricultural metaphor, this is like closing the barn door after the cows got out. Of course, in bitter contravention of the direction indicated in this metaphor, it’s what got into Sweden over the past several decades that represents the foolhardiness of it all. I fear it’s too little too late.

I thought that that metaphor applied to horses. B’cos if you close a barn door after the cows are out, they can still be somewhat easily retrieved: they wouldn’t have just walked far. W/ horses, it’s another story altogether: if they get to escape, they can travel miles, and one would need a much larger perimeter to search

My family had cows and horses, and my father worked for some years on a cattle ranch. It’s not easy to get cows to do as you wish.

Always good to see signs that people are waking up and facing reality about islam but I suspect it is way too little and way to late for Sweden. I keep thinking that, on the issue of islam, the Hungarians and poles are freaking geniuses. They are miles ahead of all other countries. All our countries need to wake the hell up and do it soon.

Allowing refuges from islamic/muslim countries is always a bad move. These refugees for the most part don’t assimilate to their host countries laws and society. A great many of these migrants are actually invading our countries in an attempt to take over and install their religious islamic sharia laws.
