The plan is turn Gaza into a wondrous Euro style sea resort city with resplendent hotels and the “beautiful” people from Europe and America enjoying the seaside amenities and it’s only going to cost billions upon billions of Euros or dollars.
This would be the greatest mistake and only the Somali taxpayer fraud could be a poor comparable rip off. The same people who have stolen billions of US, EU and UN money now are eager to set bundles of cash deposited in bank accounts payable to them making huge payoffs to those corrupt Palestinians who have always seen the West as suckers for the “poor Palestinian people” meaning either Hamas style terrorists or Abbas associated rip off specialists who condone terrorism as well.
Trump is delusional but others, like the UN, know exactly what will happen. Hamas will get not only a lifeline but a 5 Star one at that. It will be funded to buy any weapons they so desire. And price will not be a problem.
Money handed to Palestinian entities always winds up primarily into the hand of terrorists. The “People” may see some benefit but it will be on the low end of the totem pole. Hamas, Islamic Jihad will see the bulk of it and just every day thieves will do very very well.
And by the way a question I never see asked by anyone which is Who will oversee and be chosen to provide the education of Gazan children and teenagers in this new “paradise”? A new UNRWA? A joint Arabian team of education “experts”?
This is a lost cause and they are a lost people attempting to be helped by a completely deluded West.
