Mamdani butt of viral jokes on social media, admits to no federal clearance after claim he was briefed on Maduro

The pompous communist Zohran Mamdani was publicly humiliated after his bloviating about having been “briefed” on the capture of Maduro.

He ended up the butt of viral jokes on social media after a clever reporter questioned him about his security clearance. As it turns out, of course, he has no security clearance; nor did anyone reach out to him from a federal agency. “Mamdani admits he has no federal security clearance after claiming he was ‘briefed’ on Venezuela raid,” by Anders Hagstrom, Fox News, January 6, 2025:

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani admitted he has no federal security clearance on Monday, just a day after claiming he had been “briefed” about the U.S. capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Mamdani was asked directly about his security clearance during a Monday press briefing, ultimately saying that he had not yet received it. The freshly-inaugurated mayor had been the butt of viral jokes on social media from users suggesting he had inflated his access to information about the strike in his initial statement.

“You don’t have federal security clearance yet, and has anyone from a federal agency reached out to you or members of your team to begin the vetting to get federal security clearance?” a reporter asked.

“That briefing, yes, was conducted by my team,” Mamdani responded. “And the question of federal security clearance is one that’s on and on.”

“So you do have it?” the reporter pressed.

“No, not as yet,” the mayor admitted.

The exchange came after Mamdani’s initial statement on the Venezuela raid appeared to suggest he had received inside information on the operation:

Rest assured, no amount of humiliation or correction fazes Islamic supremacists. Mamdani will likely repeat the same exaggerated bluster against Trump at a future date about some other issue, only to look like a fool again. Repeat…

  2. The thug doesn’t just “look like a fool.”

    As I wrote on another thread, he was likely getting dressed /undressed and someone called through his bathroom door to tell him about the arrest.

    All devout muzzies are arrogant and see themselves as very important persons, deserving of special treatment, especially from infidels.

    The only *good* that might come from him being mayor, is that more people of the public can see what an arrogant, psychopathic muzzie looks, acts, speaks and believes….and expects from those over whom he rules (in his mind, that’s the whole of the U.S.)

    IMO, he should never be given any kind of *security clearance.*

  3. The only agencies which will grant Mamdani “clearance” is Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas.

  4. He deliberately gave the wrong impression. to make it seem that he has the clearance. The only thing clear about him is that he’s a powerlusting Stalinist.

    • The only clearance Mamdani should get is his ass clearing the border wall when he is kicked out of the country.

    Though Mamdani is grasping for false revelance he is half right that, “attacking a sovereign nation is an act of war”. This is dangerous territory and also has another purpose of interrupting oil sales to Russia and China for which both have investments in Venezuela.

    It was thought that Japan could be sanctioned and an energy blockade applied because it was small and unlikely to respond. Japan considered those actions as existential and responded with an attack on Pearl Harbor.

    Sanctions, NATO participation in the Ukraine war, taking its investments in Venezuela and seizure of a Russian oil tanker near Iceland in the North Atlantic, is treading a fine line, again, with some incorrect notions that there won’t be any military response from a “weak” Russia.

    • I also think that the legality of seizing that Russian ship near Iceland can be challenged, since it was nowhere near Venezuela. Also, the Russians can say that if the US is applying the Monroe Donroe doctrine in the Americas, what are they doing near Iceland, which does not fall in either of the Americas?

      But I do think that Russia is genuinely weak, and their bombing of Kharkiv shows them lashing out. Their allies have fallen like dominoes – Syria, Venezuela and soon Iran, leaving them w/ just Cuba, Nicaragua and North Korea. Their pre-occupation w/ Ukraine also means that they could do nothing anywhere else in the world, thereby reducing them to a paper tiger. I think that after Khamenei, Putin may be the next leader whose days are numbered. I do hope that this time, unlike in 1992, the West, particularly the US, takes Russia more seriously and works w/ it in helping integrate them into the family of Western nations

  7. Also, since when do governors or mayors get briefed on Federal issues? Only time that happens is if there is an election that year and someone is a candidate, but not in the White House

  9. Democrats lie even when what they say is easily dis-proven and is not necessary. Democrats also cheat and steal but it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that a group of habitual liars would also cheat and steal.

  10. Sworn in as mayor of New York City just days ago, and Mamdani is already in way over his head.

    Even some of the fools who voted for him may already have some regrets.

    • If democrat representatives were a retail store what store would they be? Pick ‘n Save, the Dollar Store, Wholesale Closeout? Walmart Costco and Kmart are way over their heads.

      • If the democrats where a “store ” they would not be a Dollars store ,or a wholesale close out these stores have products that some people want to buy they run on a legal profit motive. The democrats would be some kind of store or “businesses” I remember from from my teen years that where popular in the “outer boroughs” (The Bronx ,Brooklyn ,Staten Island) .That had next to nothing in visible stock in them ,very few people enter them ,in the back area they where either running numbers ,running sports betting parlors ,cutting packaging illegal drugs .The “store ” or restaurant ,or Deli was a front to laundry money and provide cover. Much like empty Day care centers taking in billions in stolen taxpayers money ,or Medicaid fraud mills ,foreign run businesses sending money overseas for terror operation. The democratic elected leaders get their cut like the old copo bosses .That is WHAT I SEE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY THE PARTY OF FU PAY ME TAXPAYER.LIKE THE QUOTO FROM GOOD FELLOWERS AS THE SQUEEZE THE NIGHT CLUB OWNER DRY THEN BURN DOWN THE BUSINESS FOR INSURANCE.

  12. This is the same Mayor that claimed he would arrested the Prime Minister of Israel if he came to NYC because he somehow thinks he has the ”Security Clearance” to arrest a foreign leader with Diplomatic Immunity.
    The arrogance of this prick is astounding but then he is a muslime so no surprise there then.
    However he didn’t arrest Maduro but may well visit the guy in Prison.
