On Thursday in Davos, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner unveiled an ambitious plan for postwar Gaza that could be called MGGA, if Gaza had ever been great and if that weren’t so hard to pronounce. After all, Kushner said of his plan that “a lot of the things that President Trump is doing in America, if they’re working, we should all be copying them. If we find what’s working in other countries, we should be copying them, too.” Yet as ambitious and wide-ranging as it is, the success of Kushner’s plan rests entirely upon one core assumption upon which the whole enchilada, or in this case shawarma, is based.
And this is a shawarma with all the trimmings. As Kushner detailed Thursday, it looks as if the idea is to turn Gaza into the Riviera of the Middle East, as Trump suggested doing in Feb. 2025. CNN reported that “a ‘coastal tourism’ zone would run along the seafront — long enough for up to 180 skyscrapers, many likely earmarked as hotels.”
Kushner also “highlighted two urban developments, which he referred to as New Rafah and New Gaza. At ‘New Rafah,’ more than 100,000 permanent housing units would be built, along with over 200 schools and more than 75 medical facilities.” Meanwhile, “‘New Gaza’ is to be a center of industry, with the aim of achieving 100% full employment, Kushner said. Computer-generated images suggest a metropolis bearing a strong resemblance to Persian Gulf cities like Doha and Dubai, with gleaming waterside accommodations and office locations.”
It all sounds wonderful, but Kushner inadvertently alluded to what might torpedo the whole plan when he said: “Our goal here is peace between Israel and the Palestinian people. Everyone wants to live peacefully. Everyone wants to live with dignity…. Let’s focus on the positive stories, and let’s just calm down. Turn a new chapter. And if we believe that peace is possible, then peace really can be possible.”
Okay, I’ll calm down, but no matter how fervently I may believe that the moon is made of green cheese, it still won’t be so. And it is also, unfortunately, ain’t necessarily so that everyone wants to live in peace and dignity. Kushner is hardly the first Westerner to assume that all people think basically the same way and desire the same things. President George W. Bush expressed this assumption on Independence Day 2004, when he declared: “Listen, moms and dads in Iraq want to be able to raise their children in a society where their children can have a bright future, just like the moms and dads in America do.” Apparently they were just like the Palestinian moms and dads in Kushner’s mind.

Sadly, there is NO PEACE with Islam and its Muslims because Islam is against ALL Non-Muslims using discrimination, deceit, segregation, violence, and terrorism as taught in Islam’s Qur’an(Qur’an 9:5, 29, 111; 49:15; 98:6-7, etc.). Allah teaches that Islam must reign supreme. Allah in Qur’an 8:39 says, “And engage in war with them[Non-Muslims] until there will not be sedition and the religion will be completely to Allah…”

Allah describes Muslim women in Jenna, Allah’s Paradise, as whores of Allah in Qur’an 56:37. Also, Deceitful Allah stirs hatred, cursing, and punishment against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. As taught by Allah, Muslims are supremacist terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and with their LIVES while undermining a society from within using the man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 states, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” As evidenced by continuous Muslim attacks, Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”
ALLAH’S MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than diabolical Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”
Again, Islam is a civilization-destroying, totalitarian, and supremacist system of lies and deceit because Allah, the best deceiver, is the actual source of Muslim deceit as taught in Islam’s Qur’an. Muslims under Islam’s system of deceit are more easily controlled because there is no foundation for truth in Islam. Allah in Qur’an 3:54 says, “And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 8:30 says, “…And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 13:42 says, “And indeed, those before them deceived, so to Allah all the deception…”

Other than Israelis who were former settlers of Gaza, I just wonder who will be remotely interested in going and settling there?
⮞ Europeans – why would they want to settle in Gaza, when there are so many other beautiful Mediterranean beachfronts all over – from Majorca to Greece?
⮞ Americans – other than TDS people, how many Americans voluntarily leave the US for other countries? Some Jews might perform Aliya, but even they – why would they go to Gaza?
⮞ Arab sheikhs – again, why would they prefer Gaza over Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Manama or Muscat? If they wanted the Mediterranean, they could pick Alexandria, where they’ll probably be left alone
⮞ Anyone else in the world – how many would be able to afford it?
As Robert points out, Gaza was never great, and the only reason it’s got all the attention it has is Hamas. It’s just slightly less important in Jewish history than Judea and Samaria, and so there is no reason to prefer it over, say, Nablus or Jericho
The best use of Gaza that I can think of is make it an international diplomatic city, like Geneva, and make it headquarter the UN, the Board of Peace and as many multilateral organizations. Lift some of the weight off cities like Brussels, and pack all the world’s diplomats there. Let them experience Hamas firsthand, having ignored their atrocities all these decades

Kushner forgot one important prerequisite to make sure his plan succeeds: Islam cannot be followed in Gaza. No mosques allowed, no imams allowed, no teaching of Islam in any school in Gaza, no halal food and no charitable status for any Islamic charity. It must be as unIslamic as Turkey was before Erdogan. The residents can choose to be secular or follow any other religion they want: Christianity, Judaism, Bhuddism, Hinduism, etc. But Islam must be treated like Nazism – a dangerous, barbaric, racist ideology.
