For those naive people who thought Trump was being harsh by coming down hard on his Canadian neighbor Mark Carney for deals with China, the report below shows the alliance between Communist China and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Carney is no match for China. Carney and Xi Jinping are simply not on an even playing field. And America cannot afford to share a border with a stooge of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
As Iran is in crisis and the Iranian rial has hit a stunning low of 1.5 million rials to $1 USD, the Islamic regime is pursuing any willing partner in order to try to ensure its survival. China doesn’t care about the bloodshed in Iran. Should its own people rise up, the CCP would rapidly use any means at its disposal to crush dissent, just as the Islamic Republic of Iran has done.
“Iran records oil production,” TV BRICS, January 27, 2026:
Iran’s oil industry has reached its highest production level in 46 years, according to Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad. This is reported by ParsToday, a partner of TV BRICS.
He stated that the process of selling Iranian oil continues steadily, with performance over the past 14 months achieving record indicators. Total production of crude oil and condensate has risen to about 1.5 million barrels per day, marking a significant milestone for the national energy sector.
This result reflects the country’s emphasis on sustainable development, efficient use of natural resources, and the strong technical capacity of domestic specialists and engineers. Higher production volumes contribute to economic stability and reinforce Iran’s position as an important participant in the global energy market.
Iran has maintained consistently high oil export levels in June 2025, with shipments holding close to 1.8 million barrels per day, According to the report, the figures reflects one of the strongest performances since 2018.
Rising demand in China drives additional export dynamics. Newly introduced import quotas have allowed Chinese refineries to increase purchases, including crude stored on tankers near the coast.

What they should do is find a way to impound all the proceeds of these sales and make sure that it gets funneled to Pahlavi’s transitional authority, instead of the IRGC or the islamic republic. Once that happens, it’ll be more effective in drying up their money. As it is, it’s 1.5 million rials to the dollar, so it’s not like Iran has much else it can trade with. Even any Renminbis or Rubles that Iran gets should be impounded and given to the Pahlavis: He has already said that he’d want good relations w/ all his neighbors, including Russia and China

So Canada is increasing its trade relations with China. So what??
Carney is suddenly a stooge for the Chinese Communist Party?
After SE Asia and the European Union the US is China’s largest trading partner.
In 2025 China exported $559.1B to the US and imported $268.2B gaining a $280.4B surplus from the relationship.
OTOH Canada was 17th on the list. China exported $47.9B to Canada and imported $41.7B for a $6.2B surplus.
How many trillions of $$$ of US treasuries does China hold?
So Canada is increasing its trade with China. So what? It’s not some sort of free trade deal or alliance.
How does that make Canada a stooge of China?
So only the US can trade with China without being a stooge?
Canada’s trade relationship with China went south as a result of the Meng Wanzhou affair in 2018 where Canada held her in custody until 2021 at the request of the US.
QUESTION? WHY SHOULDN’T CANADA TRADE WITH CHINA?
My figures come from Wikipedia so will be wildly different when other sites are visited but the idea is clear.

The implication in Christine’s article was that indirectly, Canada is funding the IRGC via Beijing, and thereby contributing to the genocide going on in Iran
Aside from that, it’s up to Ottawa who its trade deals are w/

So the US is funding the IRGC 40 times more than Canada?
Why does she seem fit to pick on Canada –#17 on China’s trade partner list.
Tunnel vision?
Easy to see why Trump won’t attack Iran’s oil industry — China would get very mad.

At this point, when that regime is about to fall, now is the worst time to sabotage Iran’s oil industry. A few years ago, or even a year ago, when that regime looked nothing like falling, I did suggest myself on this site that the Kharg terminus be taken out, so as to dry up the funding of the IRGC. But now would be the worst time to do it
As for US-China relations, we already have 100% tariffs on Chinese goods

What about a naval blockade “quarantine” of all oil tankers coming out of Iran?
