I get that he’s emboldened by Trump prevaricating, but what he says doesn’t even begin to make sense. It might have if there had been US troops landing in Iran, but even the most aggressive plan being advocated doesn’t call for that. And so far, even that hasn’t happened! How is anything that the US is doing even remotely similar to the wehrmacht being trapped by Russia’s winter?

Trump and Iranians seem to have the same enjoyment to needle each other and male treats. Difference is Trump can carry his out and Iran cannot. But I think the Iranian put downs of Trump may bother him. Best way to get over that is by actually bombing those targets that really drive Iranian crazy.
That would be any important military eqpt. like airplanes, airfields, missile launch sites and missile storage warehouses or Kharg Island, which is located off the Iranian coast and is a crude-oil terminal and loading facility where supertankers dock for bulk loading of sulfate fertilizers, liquid gas, and other petroleum products including of course crude oil.
Knocking it out of its business would hurt the mullahs more than 10,000 dead “Revolutionary Guards”. Try it out Mr. President if you want to see mullahs cry and start talking like a Minnesota Mayor or Governor.

Problem w/ that approach is that once the islamic regime does fall, the new Iranian government – probably the transition team – will need to rebuild that facility to resume selling oil. That’s why today, that’s a bad idea. Months ago, that was exactly what I was advocating. But that was on the assumption that the Iranians were nowhere near ready to revolt
