Hugh Fitzgerald has explained: “Ilan Halimi was the young Jewish man in France who was kidnapped by a gang of Muslims who, over a period of three weeks in 2006, tortured him and demanded a ransom from his family — because they thought “all Jews are rich.” Halimi’s family was not, and Ilan, who lived with his divorced mother and two sisters, had a modest job in a phone store. His mother could not satisfy the kidnappers’ demands. When he was finally found, handcuffed and gagged by some railway tracks, he had been so severely tortured that he died on the way to the hospital.”
Muslims in France will not allow a memorial to a jihad victim to stand. This memorial will be destroyed as many times as it is rebuilt.

Ostentatiously plant another memorial tree.. but set the whole thing up as a booby-trap, such that anyone who tries to uproot it or cut it down will get a really nasty surprise… and find themselves being arrested so fast they won’t have time to summon the mob in support.

I support being more lethal. Have a memorial tree booby trapped to maim anyone who tries to cut it down. Injure them, and then arrest them for trespassing/property damage, and do not provide them any medical care. Make them suffer, even while they’re being tried for that crime

And why wasn’t there a video camera set up away from there to catch those who cut this memorial down? Why wouldn’t the French have the decency to at least try to catch those who do such evil erasures? That there are muslims who could care less is a given- that there are French who govern who could care less is more sickening.

It seems the French do not care to protect anything from jihadist .A tree that is a stationary thing like mgoldberg said why can,t the French not have cameras on it 24/7 ? Surveillance is so cheap and easy in 2026 everyone has ring doorbells ,the government is trying to track people ,planes and autos all object that move. How hard would it be to track a planted olive tree for god sake ?! Could the family of the murdered man get permission from the government to put their own surveillance on it that records 24/7 to a home computer or phone?
