France: Journalist arrested and debanked for criticizing Islam

Officially, she was arrested for conducting a demonstration without notifying the prefecture. If she had been criticizing Christianity rather than Islam, however, do you think she would have been arrested in today’s multicultural, far-left, compromised, supine France?

The Lons-le-Saunier police placed Yona Faedda, an activist from the Nemesis collective, in police custody this Sunday, January 18, around noon. According to the Nemesis collective itself, on the social network X where the event is reported, the young woman, accompanied by a dozen other activists, had undertaken to conduct a street survey in the streets of Lons-le-Saunier on the theme of Islamism.

According to our sources, a woman with whom they were speaking, at the Rouget de Lisle wine cellar, reportedly changed her mind about the video recording of her testimony, requested its deletion, and then contacted the police. The police officers met the group of activists in the Place des Lions and informed Yona Faedda, originally from Besançon, that she was being placed in police custody, as shown in a short video shared on her profile and that of Nemesis, because the demonstration had not been declared to the prefecture.

The Nemesis collective, named after the Greek goddess of vengeance, was created in October 2019 in response to the wave of sexual assaults perpetrated during New Year’s Eve 2016, mainly in Cologne and Hamburg, and attributed to groups of foreign nationals against German women. The collective describes itself as a feminist whistleblower group, but in opposition to other feminist movements that, according to Nemesis, promote a “leftist ideology at the expense of women.” It is considered by many to be a far-right, identitarian action group.

Alice Cordier (a pseudonym), the founder of Nemesis, also expressed her outrage on the social media platform X regarding the detention of the activist from Besançon for a “No Hijab Day,” questioning whether “creating content in France is illegal” and asking the “judicial police officer who made this decision to wake up before it becomes ridiculous.” The young woman’s detention was still ongoing as of late Sunday afternoon.

The Nemesis profile, for its part, shared an article from the regional daily press in which the prefect of the Jura department emphasized the need to strengthen security measures in the region. “He kept his promises,” the collective commented, in a statement laden with unspoken implications.

      Yeah, but did Argentina make it unlivable for Jews, the way France is doing right now? Those Nazi war criminals were at least in hiding/on the run, but not brazenly bullying Jews and other anti-Nazis, the way muslims are doing in Europe

    This is very revealing, in that Islam is such a weak and fragile religion that it can’t hold up to or withstand analysis and scrutiny of kind.

  6. Tommy Robinson spoke at length with purported French expert on terrorism who had zero understanding of islam and who admitted that anything said about Christianity would be A-OK; just not islam. He tried to be gentle with her, but she looked absurd no matter how easy he went.

    These French women in Nemesis have an uphill battle. I appreciate their courage.

    I just read a piece by a Columbia grad who had been gang raped by 6 men but will not report them, she says, due to her disdain for incarceral creep. She said her only wish was for it to go away and that she doesn’t feel their imprisonment in an unjust system would help her. I’ve never before felt judgmental on this issue because the group that doesn’t report includes children whose parents turn on them, but I’m feeling differently now. Does she not recognize that she could save some child from these men? It’s frightening that so many women have been brainwashed not to report rape on the basis of social theories, or PoC perps, or by class lines, or muslims, but lack any and all ability to care for future victims.

    • Yes, HP, the rape victim who refuses to report because she/he feels that incarcerating the perp (punishing him) is wrong, has no real thought for anyone other than the rapist.

      In the past, women wouldn’t report because of all of the trauma of an exam, questioning by the cops and then in court having to tell every detail and be accused of ‘asking for it.’
      They feared their boyfriend or husband would turn on them.
      The Prosecutor would talk about future victims if the perps weren’t caught and punished.
      That should be the main thing….to prevent the rape happening to someone else.

        To me, incarceration would be insufficient punishment.

        • I agree, James. The victim has a killing to their soul, their heart, and puts a brand on their brain because they can’t forget.
          Death should be required for those convicted of rape.

    The Koran is criticizing and attacking Jesus Christ, Christianity and Christians. Muslims are doing the same in all Mosques around the world
