A 50-year-old Hindu businessman, Khokan Chandra Das, died on Saturday after succumbing to severe burn injuries sustained in a mob attack in Bangladesh’s Shariatpur district, marking the fourth killing of a Hindu citizen in the country within the past 12 days. The incident has intensified concerns over the safety of religious minorities and renewed demands for accountability from authorities.
Das, who owned a small pharmacy at Keurbhanga Bazar in Damudya Upazila, was attacked on the night of January 1 while returning home after closing his shop. According to police and hospital officials, he was assaulted with sharp-edged weapons, doused with petrol and set on fire by assailants near the marketplace.
Confirming his death, Dr Shaon Bin Rahman, Professor at Dhaka’s National Burn Institute, said Das passed away at 7:20 am on Saturday while undergoing treatment. Hospital sources stated that nearly 30 per cent of his body had suffered burns, with critical injuries to his face and respiratory tract. He had been battling for life for nearly three days.
Police said that in an attempt to save himself, Das jumped into a roadside pond, prompting nearby residents to raise an alarm. The attackers fled before locals could intervene. He was initially admitted to Shariatpur Sadar Hospital and later referred to Dhaka due to the severity of his condition.
Das’s wife, Seema Das, told media outlets that her husband was intercepted just outside their home and attacked without provocation. She alleged that Das had earlier identified some individuals who may have been involved, which could have triggered the assault. Police have named two suspects, identified as Rabbi and Sohag, and said efforts are underway to arrest all those involved….

Also, Deceitful Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”
Again, Islam is a civilization-destroying, totalitarian, and supremacist system of lies and deceit because Allah, the best deceiver, is the actual source of Muslim deceit as taught in Islam’s Qur’an. Muslims under Islam’s system of deceit are more easily controlled because there is no foundation for truth in Islam. Allah in Qur’an 3:54 says, “And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 8:30 says, “…And Allah is the best deceiver.” Allah in Qur’an 13:42 says, “And indeed, those before them deceived, so to Allah all the deception…”

Okay, to date, the only thing that the Indian government has done has been to force a cricket team in its IPL series (starting April) to revoke their purchase of a Bangladesh cricketer, following which Bangladesh has cancelled any appearances in India. Long overdue, and it’s a disgrace that that team hired him in the first place
But there are still too many in India turning a blind eye to this, and the Indian government is still pretty slow to recognize Bangladesh as a geopolitical enemy, rather than an ally that it pretended it was during the Hasina regime
