A speech made at an election rally in Barguna in Bangladesh has sparked controversy after remarks by a Jamaat-e-Islami leader went viral on social media. Jamaat leader Afzal Hossain said in his speech that only Muslims should become parliamentarians in the country, adding that Bangladesh should be run as per Sharia rules.
The rally was held on Thursday night, 22nd January, at Douatala School Ground in Bamna Upazila of Barguna, Bangladesh. The speech was delivered by Afzal Hossain, who was introduced by organisers as someone who joined Jamaat-e-Islami during the programme.
While addressing the crowd, Afzal Hossain spoke strongly about religion and politics. He said that in a country where around 80% of the population is Muslim, there should be no parliamentarian who goes against religious values. He asked people whether they wanted governance based on the Quran or other systems, and said Jamaat-e-Islami would work to establish a system guided by the Quran….
The developments come at a time when Jamaat-e-Islami has also drawn attention internationally. A report by The Washington Post revealed that US diplomats have shown interest in building friendly ties with Jamaat-e-Islami ahead of Bangladesh’s elections.
According to a leaked audio clip shared in the report, a US diplomat was heard saying it would be in America’s interest to maintain friendly relations with Jamaat-e-Islami, noting changes in Bangladesh’s political and social landscape.

If this is actually the official stance of the US government, be it the State Department or the President, it’s absolutely disgusting. In the extended region, we are seeing 2 trends: in Iran, people are openly denouncing islam en masse, and making it clear that it has no place in Iran’s future. In East Pakistan – which is now the best way to think of Bangladesh, the way it was before 1971, the trend is the very opposite: people are becoming more savagely jihadist, and the genocide of Hindus has gone on unabated. To see our government targeting a good relationship w/ these savages is beyond disgusting, but maybe not surprising. India is finally, finally hardening its stance against Bangladesh. Earlier this year, when the cricket franchise team in Calcutta in the IPL enlisted a Bangladeshi cricketer, the Indian cricket board made them cancel that hiring. In return, Bangladesh declared that they wouldn’t play their world cup matches in Calcutta, in response to which the ICC removed them from the competition, putting Scotland in its stead. Now Pakistan is threatening to boycott, in support of Bangladesh, and they’ve been warned that they too will be heavily sanctioned. That’s part of why I referred to Bangladesh as East Pakistan above: after 75 year, those 2 countries seem joined at the hip, the way they were in 1947
All that said, I’d like to see India downgrade its relations w/ Bangladesh, and shut down the consulates in Calcutta and Agartala. All they need is the High Commission in Delhi, if that. Oh, and Amit Shah, please can you finally take that Bangladesh border seriously, and shut it down? Dismiss the West Bengal government if you have to, and put army rule in that state, if that’s what’s needed to reverse the jihadist infiltration into India

As an aside, in London Bangladeshi elected councillors are able to stand as MPs in their native homeland.
All proves that these colonisers are just here to take advantage and it is obvious where their true allegiance and interest lie.
We have many Muslim and ethic minority MPs. They have clear divided loyalties.
They should not be allowed to be MPs at all.

Never mind that the Brits didn’t have the numbers to alter the demographic make-up of the subcontinent, the way they are doing now

Muslims make false claims and deceitful exaggerations, breed a grievance mentality, and aggravate divisions among people in a manner that allows for justification of terroristic violence(Qur’an 3:28,54; 7:99; 8:30, etc.). Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims.
Allah describes Muslim women in Jenna, Allah’s Paradise, as whores of Allah in Qur’an 56:37. Also, Allah stirs hatred, cursing, and punishment against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. And Allah will inform them of what they were doing.” See also Qur’an 2:225; 5:64; 60:4; 8:55.
Allah demands extortion payments, ‘Jizyah’, from Non-Muslims to humiliate them and make Islam supreme. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”
Allah teaches and promotes discrimination when Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.” Allah disrespects and detests Jews and Christians for not being Muslims by teaching discrimination and segregation. So, Allah’s apostle in Sahih Muslim 26:5389 says, “Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to the narrowest part of it[where excrement and trash flow].”
MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah while undermining a society from within using the man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim attacks and violence.
