We find the US President guilty due to the casualties, damages and slander he inflicted upon the Iranian nation.

From the beginning of the Islamic Revolution until today, the US has lost its dominance over Iran.
And they want to bring Iran under their military, political & economic domination again. This isn’t [solely] related to the current US president either! It’s a general US policy.— Khamenei.ir (@khamenei_ir) January 17, 2026
And he boasts that the “US has lost its dominance over Iran.” If Trump’s empty threat was a strategic feint, it has worked wonderfully, at least insofar as it has led the Iranian Islamic regime to think it has won a great victory over the United States, and that it has shown up Trump before the world. As long as Trump continues to appear to accept with total credulity the claims of the regime that it has stopped killing protesters, the regime has ample reason to think this way.
UOPDATE 5:35 a.m. PST:
In the numerous seditions in Iran in the past, it was usually the press & second-tier US or European politicians who were interfering. The unique feature of this sedition was that the US President himself interfered in this sedition & encouraged the seditionists.

Khamenei is fuming that Trump encouraged the protesters, even though his encouragement only ended up getting them killed and the help he promised did not materialize. This will only further embolden the Islamic Republic to attack U.S. interests and maybe even send more assassination squads into the U.S.

Since Iran took a verbal action that would land an American in jail, the gloves are now off. It is now open season on that senile dotard and the SRC. Get rid of those two things and Iran gets back its freedom.

Trump has been effective in many areas. His Art of the Deal concepts will only go so far with Islam. As has been pointed out, Islam only negotiates when it is losing. Since Trump stated that help is on the way, Trump should display a response in good faith to the real Iranian people. Dealing with the Ayatollah is useless.

Trump has always been against regime change in Iran. If Trump had been president during WWII he would have been against regime change in Nazi Germany. Who he is really?

As Trump thanks Iran’s Islamic regime, victorious Khamenei says ‘We find the US President guilty’

While this falls on Trumps shoulders, he is not alone in making these decisions. While he may want to take out Irans leaders there are others in the room that maybe advising against that until we are assured or the outcome for us and the people of Iran. Once we make the move you can’t just say oops our bad.
