Thinking over it the last few days, there is a silver lining to the US not going in, and instead focusing on Greenland
In the past, whenever the US attacked any country, no matter how justified, it was subjected to international condemnation by most countries, including Europe. No matter how humanitarian the cause. So this time, the US is taking its time, and in that interval, the attention of the world, bored of seeing the US do nothing, is actually turning to Iran. They see the reports of all the massacres, and are finally reacting. The UN Security Council had its discussion, Davos revoked its invitation to the foreign minister Aragchi, and governments all over the world started summoning the Iranian envoys to their countries demanding that it stop. The delay has gotten Iran a lot more international flak than it thought that it would get, and this time not b’cos of US pressure
In the meantime, by turning his attention to Greenland, and acting like a bully there (like bitching about not getting the Nobel Prize) – so much so that GOP congressmen, normally supportive of him, are openly declaring that they would not vote for military action to conquer Greenland, the president is making people genuinely panic. I have no idea whether or not ultimately the US will attack Iran, but if it does attack Iran instead of Greenland, there will be a sigh of relief, instead of the usual condemnation

There is an additional reason why Europe and the UK will not come to the aid of the oppressed people of Iran – they are compromised by the result of Islamic immigration.

It is a disgrace, Anni. I experienced what Iranians could become in a university laboratory and then saw them sent to the killing fields of the 8-years war. The Iranian Regime is a Mafia that justifies itself in the name of Arab religion.
We thought the US could stop partying long enough to help Iran’s people yet it seems it is running headlong into a rhyming version of the 1930s.

Two of the despots of the Islamic regime that recently who are responsible for the murder of a vast terribly large and outrageous number of Iranian protesters are that tyranny’s President Pezeshkian and Ayatollah Khamenei.
Even before Pezeshkian , the former , now dead President/tyrant of Iran, when he had military power and is directly responsible for have many innocence ruthlessly murdered. many people . At that time and later he, for giving so many deadly orders was known as the “hangman of Tehran.”
After Rasis had become the President/dictator of Iran he had over a hundred people executed in the short span of time, from January to March, in the year 2022.

That wicked death –inflecting Khamenei and the other Islamic despots using their murdering criminals in uniform “security forces’ against the Iranian people who are justly and righteously revolting against that horrendously brutal cruel and deadly tyrannical Islamic regimes of Iran is outrageous and wrong.
Iranian people in the righteous quest for a genuine, legitimate government that respects and safeguard their basic human rights is a good worthy decent just very good cause.
