Qatar is the main foreign backer of Hamas. Hamas leaders live in luxury in Doha. Qatar has for years supplied Hamas with money, weapons, and diplomatic support. And now, Tucker Carlson is a featured guest at this year’s Doha Forum: “Tucker Carlson to headline Qatar’s Doha Forum, triggering pro-Israel backlash,” Jerusalem Post, December 5, 2025:
According to the event agenda and parallel reporting by US media outlet Mediaite, Carlson is scheduled to interview Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, on stage, while Patel appears in his capacity as co-founder and CEO of the Tucker Carlson Network.
Tucker Carlson is not merely an invitee, but has been given pride of place, for it is he who will be interviewing the man who is second only to the emir, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, that is, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. Do you think they will discuss the “genocide” in Gaza? Or how “it is time to stop the killing and create a Palestinian state that will live “side by side, in peace and security, with its Israeli neighbor.” Yes to the first, yes to the second.
They will share the program with an unusually eclectic roster that includes former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump Jr., Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, senior European and Gulf officials, and high-profile journalists such as CNN’s Christiane Amanpour and editors from outlets including The Guardian and Foreign Policy….
I wonder what the honoraria will be for these guests, who came such a long way to be with so many well-pleased pleasers of the Al-Thani family. For Hillary Clinton, I’d guess a few hundred thousand dollars. For Donald Trump, Jr. the take should be about the same. No need to pay Bill Gates; he is not coming to Qatar for the money. Ever since his daughter married an Egyptian Muslim, Nayel Nassar, in a Muslim ceremony, his interest in the Muslim world has increased. Christiane Amanpour is the television journalist who has displayed her anti-Israel animus for decades; she will be most welcome in Qatar. CNN’s current policies would not allow her to accept a fat honorarium, but perhaps the Qataris will find another way to express to this Old Fish (Amanpour is an alumna of New Hall School in Chelmsford, England, where two of my closest relatives went) their admiration and esteem. Something in the untraceable cryptocurrency line might be just the ticket. Perhaps some investigative reporter could ferret out just how much Qatari money was doled out to some, though not all, of the Doha Forum participants. Keep in mind the huge bribes Qatar paid to soccer officials in order to be able to host the 2022 World Cup. Bribery is a way of life, after all, for the fabulously wealthy Arab oil states, and that includes the Qatari government.
In June, Loomer circulated what she said were Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filings, arguing that Qatar’s US embassy paid more than $200,000 for an earlier Carlson interview with the Qatari prime minister about the region and the war with Iran, and calling the program a “paid propaganda piece.” That claim, which conservative Jewish site 5 Towns Central reported on, has not been independently verified.
Carlson’s camp has flatly rejected the accusations. In a statement cited by Mediaite, Patel said “allegations that Tucker Carlson or Tucker Carlson Network took money from any foreign country for an interview or for any other reason are categorically and definitively false and defamatory,” adding that neither Carlson nor his company “has ever taken a penny from Qatar or any foreign country.”…
Well then, if Carlson is telling the truth, and Lara Loomer has unfairly accused him, wouldn’t you think he would rush to sue her for defamation? But he’s not doing that. Why not?
Israeli and Western officials have relied on Qatar to broker hostage and ceasefire deals, even as critics accuse Doha of legitimizing Hamas by providing it with political protection, funding, and a luxury base of operations. Analyses by Israeli think tanks like the Institute for National Security Studies describe Qatar’s approach as a “two-pronged” policy, combining harsh criticism of Israeli policies with a central mediating role and heavy humanitarian involvement in Gaza.
Those tensions deepened in September, when Israel allegedly struck a Hamas leadership meeting in Doha, prompting Qatar to denounce the attack as “state terrorism” while insisting that hosting Hamas officials was part of internationally backed mediation efforts, including with Israel and the US….
The Israeli strike — which, unusually for the IDF, failed to hit the right target — was not “state terrorism.” There was no intention to terrorize the civilian population of Qatar, but only to eliminate a handful of Hamas terrorists who Mossad knew were about to launch an attack on the Jewish state.
Tucker Carlson did not go all the way to Qatar to interview one more member of the Al-Thani family just for the fun of it. Investigative journalists, do your stuff. See what you can find out about Tucker Carlson and the possible expression of gratitude, in untraceable cash or cryptocurrency, that the Al-Thani family may have presented him with, and that he no doubt will insist it would have been impolite for him to refuse.

They’ve paid Tucker enough. Guest of honor for being their mouthpiece.
John Jake says
I believe he still lives in the D.C. area and his podcast is probably not enough to pay the bills for his residence and lifestyle habits in such a region.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
No, he moved to Maine, after he was doxxed by Antifa. During Covid, he’d do his show from his studio in Maine, and that’s where one sees his videos these days
He has enough money that he could hire almost his entire FNC team (a couple of them found other employers, like Eric Bolling at Newsmax or Megyn Kelly or TPUSA), and that too after his separation from FNC. He started the network w/ his name w/ all that, and got decent advertizing
Fact is that when he was at CNN, he was anti-Israel just like CNN’s other “conservative” hosts – Pat Buchanan, Bob Novak and John Sununu (only Kate O’Beirne was an honorable exception to this rule). When he came to Fox, he suppressed that and focused on other things, which won him a lot of admiration, particularly after 2017. But it was after October 7th when he turned on Israel, as well as when he endorsed Candace Owens’ views, that he totally reverted to his CNN incarnation. I guess that if that’s what he’s gonna do, he might as well rake in the cash, be it from Omed Malik or the al Thanis

Instructive, very, how superbly Islam at its most nefarious and deceptive, continues to snooker people—such as Qatar does and which country engages in stealth jihad far better and more shrewdly than do clumsy clowns like Hamas and the Iranian regime continuing to engage in outright violent jihad.
And what worries me first and foremost is not a person like Tucker Carlson, for whom I have lost much respect. He is small-fry to what truly concerns me and that is Donald Trump and the leadership of the Republican Party. Carlson being snookered and corrupted is really no big deal, still unfortunate as it is, but Trump and major Republican leaders being snookered and corrupted by Islam is as big a deal as one could find.
Verdict still out. Yes it is. But ever thinking Islam is OK is never fine. Never by anyone, especially by an American President.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
I remember Tucker ranting against the Saudis when he was on FNC on any occasion he could. Even after MbS came to power and started shutting down the foreign dawa and jihad activities of the Saudis
That’s a big contrast w/ his treatment of Qatar, which has been far more rogue than the Saudis. Reason CIA didn’t kill Osama was that there was an al Thani sheikh in his hunting party. KSM may be half Kuwaiti and half Paki, but he has Qatari citizenship. Somehow, none of that has been touched
Yeah, I expect our leaders to be less ignorant about islam. But even more than that, I expect them to know which are the worst of the islamic countries that we have to deal w/, and have them included in the list of countries from which visas have been suspended, and they are Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh and Kuwait. Yet none of them have been touched!

I think that voters should study their individual candidates and then decide whether to take the trouble of showing up to the polls to vote for them. If the candidate in question is specifically anti-muslim immigration, and not anti-Jewish, anti-Hindu and all that, then by all means, turn up to the polls and vote for them. But if instead of being anti-muslim, they happen to be in the same camp as Tucker, Posobiec, Dave Smith and any number of anti-Semites on the Right, just sit it out: don’t bother
Bottom line: don’t just turn up and vote for someone just b’cos s/he has an (R) next to his/her name

Are there any Israeli parties who, if they gain a majority in the Knesset on their own, will dare demolish the al Aqsa mosque?
The only way I can see a Third Temple happening is if Jews take a page out of Hindus in 1990 Ayodhya and send a mob there to demolish that mosque. And have a political party that ensures that the mosque isn’t rebuilt
One thing I regretted about Iran’s barrage of missile attacks on Israel last year was that they didn’t accidentally destroy the al Aqsa mosque
KufarDawg says
You do realize the Temple Mount is claimed by the moslames as their third holeiest site right? This despite the fact there is no mention of Jerusalem or the Temple Mount anywhere in the holey quranus.

Your idea that Tucker Carlson somehow *has to* shill for Qatar is completely mistaken. And no–Israel is not building a Third Temple. Try again.

I’m not really picking sides or pretend to be too swayed and aware of the facts, but everyone is moving toward Tucker that we know. I feel uncomfortable when our own conservative people have become so aggressive anti Israel.
Tucker is swaying everyone now and he just bought a house in Qatar. I’m not sure which way to go Tucker or pro Israel. People are very emotional on the Tucker/Islamic side, while I have found the few remaining pro Israel supporters I know to be very fact of matter and non combative. When I question Israel, they can accept it. But the pro Tucker side is not accepting any praise of Israel any more.
It is just very strange. People who supporters of Israel, come in so anti Israel and so aggressive… could they have learned that much new information to be so angry? I don’t know.
It doesn’t make me comfortable.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Tucker bought a house in Qatar? Or was one presented to him? He’s on record as saying that he has no plans to live anywhere outside the US: this particularly when he confronted critics on his support of Russia
Jane says
I’m not lying he has said it himself. He did an interview with a Qatari leader of some sort few days ago. And he revealed he’s buying a home there.
Doesn’t mean he’s moving, but he’s obviously going to be spending more time there.i mean if that’s good or bad, I can’t say. Qatar is under treaty our ally we are obligated to defend, unlike Israel.
I don’t know if I’m comfortable with that, but there is zero outrage. Only at Israel, I guess maga doesn’t mind defending Qatar and loves the treaty.
gravenimage says
What “new information” are you claiming that Carlson has secretly discovered?
Jane says
I don’t really know, I was referring to his followers, all of the people flipping so quickly.
How can u support Israel and then out of nowhere you hate it more than the devil? It doesn’t make sense to me. It isn’t based on facts or reason, it’s just following the mass amount of information flooding in, from all these Muslims on social media, they are high population and it’s trickled its way into MAGA.
Israel people can actually have a conversation, but the Tucker MAGA Muslim supporters, are very very vocal and aggressive towards me… it’s not based on information or facts, it’s “Goldstein” ten minutes of hate, Israel edition courtesy of Tucker and all the Islamists on social media. It’s spreading into our family.
They are angry at facts, like Israel attempting to give Palestinians a state twice… and other facts.
gravenimage says
True enough.
Malibu PPP says
You are not keeping up obviously. Explain why he is over there every six months bashing the only democracy in the ME?
He’s shilling for something Islamic. He blew off concerns about Pakistanis, and says they’re the shit, and Israelis suck, and how the Muslim world is actually better for Christians than Israel 😂🤣.
He is also using every single possible tactic to not blame the culprits for 9/11, and looking at every single possible angle to pin the blame on others, who were of course negligent, but totally ignoring who the culprits are.
And suppose the small time he does blame Osama and his crew, well then he goes and twists up so many facts to claim osama was really a cia creation. Which is false. But guess what? People that don’t have time to read and analyze, they’ll buy it hook line and sinker because your guy Tucker has a large following and is trustworthy.
He is even question the whole Nigeria murders of Christians, there’s no way Muslims would do such a thing. Actually, let’s totally ignore it…
He’s in the jihad plain and simple. Zero criticism of what’s happening in Europe by the group he refuses to criticize.
All that being said, I still watch his show, but it is frustrating, how he skews things. I’m about done with Tucker.
Explain yourself
Jane says
You should go back to grammar school.
I have no idea what you’re talking about I am not taking any sides, I am only observing and studying Tucker and this phenomenon of people flooding towards his Islamic movement.
Israel is a western democracy I would like to see them keep thriving. So I have no clue what you are getting at here.
I’m concerned about right wing MAGA people, every day voters becoming very aggressive and Israel has become their whole existence. This is something out of 1984, it’s unhealthy and it is hard to have a thanksgiving dinner with them. They assume everyone is evolving the same way as they are, and they denounce others who are more nuanced on Israel.
MD Anthony says
Tucker has become a typical Libertarian Leftist whose views do not require a knowledge of Islam and prefer to call Islam the religion of peace.
Like so many of the Woke Libertarians Tucker hopes that by pretending Islam is good and Israel is evil – Tucker hopes the jihadists will murder he and his family last – Or worse Carlson has already converted to Islam
࿗Infidel࿘ says
I wouldn’t quite classify him as Leftist. What has happened over the past 2 decades has been that Corporate America has assumed that the Right is automatically in their pockets, and what they need to do is buy off the Left, and then there will be no political opposition to them, the way there was during the pre-Nancy Pelosi leadership of Gephardt, Tom Foley and others. Also, Big Tech, which took over from Big Finance as the heavy hitters on Wall Street, was composed not of any Conservatives (one would struggle to find any) but of Liberals and Libertarians. That’s what enabled the Dems to morph from a working class party into a pro-corporate party, enjoying the company of the Googles, the Amazons, the Facebooks and so on. Even earlier companies like Netscape, Silicon Graphics, Gateway, et al had chiefs who were more in the (D) camp
What Tucker did during his time at FNC was point out how ridiculous it was of those on the Right to keep supporting these companies, even while they do what they can to undermine our sovereignty. For starters, a lot of them don’t think of themselves as American companies, but rather, as corporate citizens of the world. Where they can hire employees from anywhere in the world, and where travelling from Noida to New York should be as seamless as travelling from Nantucket to New York, flight times aside. Then these companies start supporting open borders, hiring illegals for lower wages, since the bottom line is the only thing that matters at annual board meetings. When Obamacare was introduces, Corporate America eagerly jumped on that bandwagon, completely disregarding what the Healthcare sector itself had to say about it. All in all, Corporate America totally turned against American citizens in general, and conservative values in particular, so that it really is ridiculous for conservatives to continue to bat for Corporate America
Similarly, there were a lot of other things Tucker got right. Such as prioritizing foreign countries when American cities are languishing under Democrat control. Or giving Amazon tax breaks that were not being offered to other retailers in order to encourage them to have their headquarters in NYC. Or US troops being present in 150 out of the 190 countries there are in the world. Or – big one IMO – our relations w/ and policy towards Russia, completely ignoring post Cold War geopolitics, where Moscow was no longer trying to subvert the free world, but merely stay afloat economically
I did part company w/ Tucker when, while condemning foreign aid, he singled out Israel. I’m more on the old Rush strategy: give foreign aid (well managed, of course) to those countries that are pro-US and at least vote alongside US in the UN, but cut it off for everyone else. There is no reason for us to give aid to most African or Asian countries. So that falls somewhere b/w zero aid to anybody (including Israel) vs plenty of aid to everybody (including hostile countries like Yemen or Somalia). I don’t completely disagree w/ those who advocate the former, although as Ben Shapiro pointed out, when we do that, we just let Beijing walk in and fill the void. But when those who advocate the former exclusively go after Israel, they’re betraying their antisemitic animus
I no longer watch Tucker, but let’s not pretend that everything he stands – or stood for – is wrong

A lot of it is residual from his FNC days. When he was almost the sole voice against BLM in the summer of 2020, a major advocate against Covid lockdowns, a major critic of our Russia policy, a major critic of people and corporations kowtowing to Beijing, a critic of big tech and GOP policies continuing to treat Wall Street as though they were still pro-US, and so on
I have stopped listening to him, b’cos all he talks about these days is Israel, while pretending that Shapiro, Mark Levin do just that, when they don’t (Shapiro covers whatever is in the news that day, while Levin talks exclusively about Marxism in the Democrat party). His participation in this event seems to suggest what a lot of us have been suspecting all along: that he’s been bought and paid for by Qatar
