In stark contrast to the unprincipled reactions of both Barack Obama and Old Joe Biden when the Iranian people took to the streets in previous years to protest against the bloodthirsty mullahs of the Islamic Republic, President Donald Trump didn’t hesitate to remark on the unrest in Iran on Monday, and to declare his support for the courageous Iranians who are putting their lives on the line for freedom after enduring 46 years of tyranny.
Trump made it clear that he was “not going to talk about overthrow of a regime.” He also made clear, however, that the nationwide demonstrations that have once again engulfed Iran have ample justification. “They’ve got tremendous inflation,” the president observed. “Their economy is busted, the economy is no good.”
Trump also noted the brutality of Iran’s Islamic regime, pointing out that “every time they have a riot or somebody forms a group, little or big, they start shooting people. You know, they kill people. All of a sudden people start getting shot and that group disbanded pretty quickly.”
Trump noted correctly that this was the Islamic Republic’s longstanding practice: “I’ve watched this for years — there is tremendous discontent. I’ve watched it for years, and vicious, vicious people.”
Meanwhile, Mike Walz, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, left no ambiguity about where the nation stands regarding the latest round of protests in Iran, writing: “The people of Iran want freedom. We stand with Iranians in the streets of Tehran and across the country as they protest a radical regime that has brought them nothing but economic downturn and war.” The State Department’s Farsi account on X added that the U.S. stands with the Iranian people’s attempt “to make their voices heard.”
A regime that is as severely threatened as the Islamic Republic is now can lash out with lethal force, and Trump also made it clear when he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday that the mullahs should not assume that they can lash out without facing the consequences of doing so, as they did so often during the Obama and Biden years. “Now I hear that Iran is trying to build up again,” Trump said, “and if they are, we’re going to have to knock them down. We’ll knock the hell out of them.”
Referring to Israel, Trump added: “We just won a big war together. If we didn’t beat Iran, you wouldn’t have had peace in the Middle East. We wiped it out.” Asked if he would join Israel in striking Iran again if the mullahs resumed their aggressive activities, Trump responded readily: “If they continue with the missiles — yes. The nuclear — absolutely…. Speaking of Iran, I hope they’re not trying to build up again, because if they are, we’re going to have no choice but very quickly to eradicate that buildup.”

President Trump and Western Leaders fail to identify that Islam is the ideological foundation that teaches and promotes discrimination, deceit, violence, and terrorism against women, children, and Non-Muslims(Qur’an9:5, 29, 111; 49:15, etc). Islam continuously destroys every society.

Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” Islam and its Muslims, enemies of Non-Muslims, are a Muslim Terrorist Organization(MTO).
Allah commands Muslims to conquer and subjugate every territory for Islam using every tool available with their MONEY and with their LIVES wielding the power of the Government or the State. Hence, Islam and Muslim actions should be legally challenged with a multi-faceted force of Western Laws like Muslims wield against Westerners via Governments, Tax Exempt Organizations, the Media and Hollywood, Foreign Funding, etc. because Islam violates and is incompatible with Western Laws(Qur’an 8:60; 9:5,29, 111; 47:4; 49:15; 65:4 etc.).
Allah describes Muslim women in Jenna, Allah’s Paradise, as whores of Allah in Qur’an 56:37. Also, Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day when Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day. Islam must be banned as illegal, and we have the legal right to defend ourselves from Muslim violence. Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”
Muslims are supremacist terrorists for Allah with their MONEY and with their LIVES while undermining a society from within using the man-made book of lies and deceit, the Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 49:15 says, “Surely the believers[Muslims] are only those who believed in Allah and his messenger. They do not doubt, and they performed jihad with their MONEY and their LIVES for the sake of Allah. Those are the truthful.” Allah in Qur’an 4:101 says, “…Surely the infidels(Non-Muslims) were your clear enemies.”
MUSLIM BELIEVERS are a greater TERROR than Allah. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” As a result, Non-Muslims are marked for death by Islam and its Muslims.

No, the policy has to be regime change. Granted, the US sucks at it, so we need not be involved in it at all. However, we need to tell Israel that they are free to support Pahlavi in overthrowing the islamic regime and taking power

Please, let’s not talk loudly and carry no stick. Also, let Iran itself develop as it will. The mullahs are facing their own angry and defrauded young; but what voices will young Iran heed? I pray tat this may be the turning point for the Christianization of Iran; but that is in God’s hands, and not mine.
I’m old enough to remember the Silly ‘Sixties and Sillier ‘Seventies. A generation of US youth, brought up on how great and wonderful our shining city on the hill was (and I myself am humbly grateful to be part of the USA), and how we had whipped the “Hun” and the “Jap”` came of age when the civil rights movement exposed serious inequities in our society and when a foreign policy of exporting a worldwide New Deal came unravelled in Viet Nam. Of course those young were right to know they’d been lied to; that self-congratulation was not in order. But they opened their ears to Marxism, went on to spawn a host of Marx’s bastard children, which proceeded on a very destructive Gramscian march through the institutions.
Maybe the rise of nationalist-populism (not an unmixed blessing, as I see it) in Europe and both socialism and an alt right rising among American youth are signs that we in the West have a similar phenomenon?
It bothers me no end that some in the poicy and pundit communities thought the Mujaheddin-e-Khalq were the wave of the future against the mullah-ocracy. If the MEK is leading Iran’s current round of student unrest, I pray the USA stays out. We would have no dog in such an Iranian internal fight. Intervention would be as disastrous as the Obama-Clinton shift towards the Syrian rebels.

The biggest opposition support in Iran is for the Pahlavis. Not the MEK, which is rejected as a Marxist group. There is also the fact that the MEK was on Iraq’s side during the 80’s war, a war that Saddam branded as a re-run of al-Qadisiyyah, the battle that triggered the fall of the Sassanid empire, and thereby, an ethnic war b/w Arabs and Iranians
No, I do think that if this regime falls, Reza Pahlavi’s team would be the ones taking over. They already have a transition plan in place, unlike in the cases of Afghanistan and Iraq
