If you are a reader of European descent, it is almost certain you had a distant genetic ancestor who was killed, raped, or enslaved by Muslims somewhere in Europe. Muslim depredations against a nascent America’s merchant ships in the 1790s became the raison d’être for America’s navy.
Unlike Europeans, the Americans were unwilling to pay tribute to the Barbary corsairs who were attacking Christian shipping in the Mediterranean. Instead, the Americans attacked, and ultimately subdued, the Muslim corsairs, so that the power of those called the “Barbary pirates” was broken insofar as American shipping was concerned. The European commercial vessels, however, continued to be attacked, until the French seized Algeria in 1830 from the Bey of Algiers, and used it as a base from which to attack any corsairs still threatening Christian shipping in the Mediterranean. The French made Algeria into a real colony, with hundreds of thousands of French citizens ultimately moving to North Africa, chiefly to Algiers and Morocco, in order to settle in the land. That all came to an end in 1962, when the French, unable to crush the Arab revolt, chose to pull out of Algeria altogether. Ever since then, Algeria has been a sovereign state, ruled by a corrupt military junta that lately has been demanding that France pay it $600 billion in reparations for what it described as the “destruction by the French” of Algeria. In fact, the French colonists greatly improved life for the Algerian Arabs. They built the first public school systems, the first universities, the first secular libraries and modern hospitals. They introduced modern methods of agriculture, including viniculture that led to wines from Algeria being exported to France. They introduced Western medicine that saved many Arab lives. They improved the lot of Algerian women, some of whom, by the time the French left in 1962, had long been used to going about without the hijab. By the loi Crémieux of 1870, the French gave Jews in Algeria French citizenship, so that they would no longer have to endure living under the Islamic boot.
Beyond Europe, in what historian Will Durant labeled the bloodiest chapter in human history, the Mughal empire (Mongolian-Turkic Muslims of Central Asia) conquered and subdued the Indian subcontinent, slaughtering tens of millions of polytheistic Hindus….
Historians of India, such as K. S. Lal, now estimate that between 70 and 80 million Hindus were slaughtered during the 331 years of Mughal rule. The mass killings ended when the Mughals realized that it was preferable to keep the Hindus alive in order that they be forced to pay the jizyah, an onerous capitation tax that previously had been limited to Christians and Jews; in a sense, the Hindus became honorary people of the book (ahl al-kitab), in order that they might remain alive, but be forced to pay so of much of their wealth to the Islamic state. These mass killings of Hindus, before they became dhimmified cash cows for the Muslims, are scarcely known outside of India, and even there the behavior of Muslim rulers in the past is sanitized in the interests of “national cohesion.”
Will the governments of the Anglosphere learn their lesson from the Western European canary that dropped dead in the coal mine? Events in locales as varied as Minnesota and the United Kingdom (it appears as if all of Albion is bent over and grabbing its ankles, undergoing a government cavity search) suggest that the answer is probably no.
The authors of this piece, Erik and Todd Gregory, are too pessimistic. There is still time — just — for the countries of Western Europe to save themselves from demographic jihad by halting migration from Muslim lands, making sure that Muslims who are told to deport are in fact deported, and including in their number all those who are either in the country illegally or have been convicted of crimes. Those Muslims who have been admitted because they claimed to be “asylum seekers” fleeing violence in their own countries, should have their cases reexamined in light of new developments in their countries of origin. The millions of Syrian “refugees” now in Western Europe, for example, should be deported back to Syria now that the 14-year-long civil war is over. Finally, to make their countries less welcoming to would-be Muslim economic migrants, who expect to be able to take advantage of every benefit the generous welfare states of western Europe have until now been lavishing upon them, those governments should make benefits available only to migrants who have lived in their countries, and been gainfully employed, for at least five years. That’s what I’d call a good start.

That would be a start but more needs to be do ne. Look at Poland and Hungary. They don’t have tabs problems like the rest of Europe. This is largely because they refuse to surrender their culture. If you want to live in those countries, then you will have to integrate and assimilate into their culture. Before you call Poland a d Hungary anti immigrant, they actually are not. They put out the welcome mat for white ZA farmers being attacked by roving black gangs. A lot of Europe’s Muslim problem could be solved by ending Colonial Preference. Under that agreement, former colonies of western Europe are allowed to emigrate to western Europe without any vetting. Curtail such immigration u til you get a handle on it.

There may still be time, but there is no will. Already at this point the suggestion in the above article that immigration from a specified cultural group, most of whom are non-white, be stopped or controlled, would be almost universally decried as racist fascism. The power of that thinking is giving every sign of being undefeatable.
Erik Gregory and Todd Gregory are examples of our hope – what of that we still have – and they are joined by other distinguished voices, notably Douglas Murray, but – if you can find it – take a look at how both this site and Hugh Fitzgerald are viewed popularly. Both appeal to a distinct audience, but are vilified outside of it.

Frankly, I think it’s too late and yet why I hope Hugh Fitzgerald is correct and myself wrong.
The greatest debacle in European history was not the descent of ancient Greece into a some 300 year dark age between c. 1100-800 BC, nor the ending of Classical Greece in the 4th century BC, nor the fall of the western half of the Roman Empire in the 5th century AD, nor the onslaught of Islam into Europe in the 8th century AD and many attempts thereafter occurring by the deluded followers of Mohammed to take over Europe, nor Europe devouring itself in two stupid and completely unnecessary world wars. No, the single greatest debacle in all of European history has been what utterly clueless Western leaders like Tony Blair, Bush 43, Merkel, Pope Francis, Trudeau, Macron, et al. have allowed by not properly identifying a mortal enemy of Europe and all the West, i.e., Islam.
I don’t think we can recover from these very stupid people making excuse after excuse for the worst religion of all time—often times even outright praising this effing hideous religion. Again however, I hope I’m wrong about Fitzgerald’s cautious optimism but it’s going to take people even more aware than Trump, and he is far more aware than virtually anyone in a major leadership position in the West respecting just how far the West has sunk but I still would contend he is still not aware enough.
Greatness, true greatness, coupled with immense understanding, is necessary if the West is to be saved. I still don’t see this on the horizon. No I do not.

Just look at what happens when a muslim has a disagreement. He makes one call and then 50+ brothers, cousins etc show up in about 10 minutes.
So, if the muslims take over the european countries, maybe they let Merkel, Blair etc rule for maybe a week, a month. But then the biggest clan will march into the government buildung and Merkel & Co will be killed.
Muslim families have at least 5 children, while european families have 2 at most.
So, how do they protect themselves against it? Will they make european families an offer they cant refuse? Join with merkel and become part of the Merkel clan or what?

Just last year in the Christian brochure of the title Battle Cry , June 2024, it on page 8 in an article entitle “Europeans Call For A Return To Christian Root’s.”

No, it doesn’t make sense. When I was young in the 1950s and 1960s, the general idea was that some countries were enlightened and others weren’t. The Muslim countries were in the latter category, Unfortunately, the left promoted the idea that all cultures are equal, except for the West which is uniquely evil. Once you have that idea lodged in your mind, you are hopelessly lost and cannot make normal moral judgments.

Spot on, john. That is the crazy mindset of so many people. I knew nothing about Islam’s foul nature when Muslims began to be let into Australia in the 1970s so it took me awhile to wake up. Islam is so evil and barbaric that there no way I’d let these scum into any non Muslim country. Letting Muslims in is suicidal. Hopelessly lost as you say.
