The Doha Forum takes place in the capital of Qatar, the nasty little kingdom by the sea that the Al Thani family wholly owns, and whose members fill every significant position in the government. There is the emir, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who succeeded his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the “Father Emir” and still an influential figure, though he no longer goes to the office every day. There is also His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who serves as the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. There is Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, the former prime minister, and now a prominent businessman. There is Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, who is involved in sports and security. There is His Excellency Sheikh Meshal Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States of America. The current Ambassador of Qatar to the UK is H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani. There is Qatar’s Ambassador to Germany and the Czech Republic, H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani. Qatar’s ambassador to France, on the other hand, is His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al-Thani. Qatar’s ambassador to Russia is His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Thani. The Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations is Sheikha Alya Ahmed Saif Al-Thani. The Plenipotentiary Extraordinaire of the State of Qatar to… well, you get the picture. That is one talented family.
Qatar has three million inhabitants, of whom 300,000 are Qatari citizens, and the remaining 2.5 million are foreign workers who are the wage slaves of their Qatari masters, providing them with every conceivable service, from cardiac surgery to tree surgery.
Qatar owes its claim on the world’s attention to one thing: it is the third largest producer of natural gas in the world. And with the money it makes from sales of that gas, it can indulge in all sorts of malevolent behavior, including its underwriting those who would, if they could, destroy the Jewish state. Culturally and intellectually insignificant, morally intolerable, its entire lavish existence the result not of industry nor entrepreneurship, but of an accident of geology, Qatar uses the Doha Forum to burnish its image. And in our mammon-worshipping world, Qatar gets away with it.
The Doha Forum, with various grand panjandrums from around the world in attendance, is meant to put Qatar on the map as a serious, thoughtful, altogether admirable participant in world affairs, a place of gravitas. Of course many of the attendees at the Doha Forum, especially people in the media, and former government officials, are rumored to receive large sums for attending.
Remember, Qatar is the main foreign backer of Hamas. Hamas leaders live in luxury in Doha. Qatar has for years supplied Hamas with money, weapons, and diplomatic support. More on this year’s Doha Forum can be found here: “Tucker Carlson to headline Qatar’s Doha Forum, triggering pro-Israel backlash,” Jerusalem Post, December 5, 2025:
Right-wing commentator Tucker Carlson is now listed as a featured speaker at the Doha Forum in Qatar this weekend, sharpening a growing fight inside the pro-Trump camp over Qatar’s ties to Hamas and its role as a global platform for Islamist movements.
Florida-based activist Laura Loomer, a close ally of United States President Donald Trump, flagged Carlson’s addition in a new post on X on Thursday, sharing what she said was a screenshot from the Doha Forum website that shows the former Fox News host on the official speakers list. Loomer has spent months accusing Carlson of being too soft on Qatar and Iran and of undermining support for Israel.
The Doha Forum website confirms that Carlson and his media partner, Daily Caller co-founder Neil Patel, are participating in this year’s gathering, which runs December 6–7 in Doha under the theme “Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress.”
Will those who participate in the discussion of “justice in action” focus on the need to create a Palestinian state, with Israel squeezed back within the 1949 armistice lines? Of course they will. They may also be discussing the need for “the West” to pay reparations to the Third World countries for, inter alia, slavery, and climate change. As to the first, there will be no mention in Doha of the Arab slave trade, that began centuries earlier, and ended later, and claimed millions more victims, than the Atlantic slave trade carried on by Europeans and Americans. As for “climate change,” and the need for the “industrialized nations” — meaning mainly Europe and North America (China always gets a pass in these fora) — to pay poorer nations to mitigate the effects of hurricanes, floods, drought, and other natural phenomena, at Doha no one will have the bad taste to mention that the chief opponents of the world’s alleged need to wean itself off oil and natural gas, at every climate summit including the one that just ended in Belem, Brazil, are a murderer’s row of Gulf Arab states: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.

Qatar has several times the per capita income of any of its neighbors – Saudi Arabia, Emirates,…. It’s therefore significant that they are the one holdout in supporting the muslim brotherhood, which all the other Arab countries seem to oppose. Part of this is them having such a low population of 300K, so that the al Thanis have all the money to piss away anywhere they like – from Western universities to dawa groups, and even Hamas
I’d be all for military action against them by anybody. And we should definitely oppose bailing them out if they are threatened

Why does USA have an air force base in Qatar?
࿗Infidel࿘ says
One result of 9/11: it was determined that having US bases in Saudi Arabia was giving al Qaeda a propaganda rallying point, since KSA has Mecca and Medina. Hence the decision was made to move Centcom out to Qatar
It was a bad call: they could have selected Emirates instead

The only ‘need” for such a thing as a “Palestinian state” would be that such a “state” would be “needed” by Muslim terrorists as another area of land for they can launch murderous jihad attacks into Israel . As for example, Gaza ,when Hamas took power in that land, it became a base for Muslim terrorists to engage mass- murder jihad attacks into Israel . As observed with the horrendously deadly evil heinous Hamas jihadists invasion of Isreal on October 7th 2023.

WHY are young US Army and Marines placed in the front lines of these countries that have values directly opposite of ours and yet young Americans are set up to defend them from whomever their enemies are and they dont even pay for the US Troops stationed in their Desert as at least we could call them Mercenaries.
Pull ALL US Military OUT of the entire Middle East and these mega rich Kingdoms will BUY an Army of Mercenaries and America can Drill Baby Drill.
Once they run out of money they will go back to riding a Camel rather than a Lamborghini, sleep in a Tent rather than a massive Palace and stop having $10K Hookers in London or NYC and have a Pet Goats close by as they always have done… even today

I think you said that rather well.

Concerning the idea of what some call a “the two state solution.” This subject was explained in a rather clear way in the newspaper entitled The Epoch Times April 3-9, 2024, A-14. Which informs its reader that ”Before October 7th 2023 there was a de facto three-state solution , given that Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza were all separate states ruled by their own governments, two of which were illegitimate without scheduled elections.
It was not Israel, but the people of Gaza and the West Bank who institutionalized the “river to the sea” agenda of destroying its neighbor.
Israel would have been content to live next to an autonomous Arab Gaza and West Bank that did not seek to destroy Israel in their own ‘one –state solution.
Furthermore, Hamas had proven not only the its words but ,more terrible murderous actions, starting on October 7th, that it wants to completely destroy the State of Israel and even commit genocide worldwide on the Jewish people. That Hamas jihad attack and continued further Islam terror/murder attacks reveals the terrible folly and total lack of wisdom in the every idea of a “two-state solution.”
