What’s exceptional about Somali fraud isn’t how it was done, but the scale of it. The Somalis weren’t doing anything that multiple other welfare-dependent groups weren’t doing. Indeed, before long we’ll hear that defense of it.

Setting up community groups, cashing in on every kind of welfare program has become as American as Cloward-Piven.

Democrats bought the allegiance of generations of minorities and immigrants by doling out massive amounts of handouts to their corrupt cronies who then offered a tenth of it to the voters they were recruiting. And when I say generations, we’re talking about going back well into the 19th century.

The sophistication of the modern welfare system, the growing cradle-to-grave system, the invention of new problems to be treated, has expanded it massively since Tammany Hall’s gift baskets and jobs to the ‘right people’, but this was always here. And the toll isn’t just in the billions. We’re looking at the trillions in the long run.

What the Somalis did was they took a system that appeared to have no safeguards and they took it for all it was worth. They did so to such an insane extent that the fraud couldn’t be hidden and couldn’t be seen as anything except fraud. But to be fair to them, their abuses peaked during the COVID era at a time when the government was just literally writing checks to anyone who asked.

Enough said.

The Somalis had no sense of proportion which is why they stole billions in a short amount of time and they’re getting caught. That’s the tip of the iceberg. The iceberg is that they’re doing many of the same things that are routine in every city, many towns and even rural areas once the welfare state sets up shop and distinct groups emerge, along with ‘community groups’ to take advantage of it.

Why do you really think so many bloc votes go to Dems? Because they give them things. Because they buy their way into a community, pay out to their leaders who then set up welfare shops to recruit people to vote for them. That’s what a welfare state really means. The Somalis had no self-control when it came to stealing. Tammany Hall preferred ‘honest graft’ to theft. The size of the legal welfare state is even bigger than the size of the frauds. It’s so big that it’s eating our economy and country alive.

    I read some more analysis of Somaliland, and looks like it’s a more functional state than Somalia, and unlike “Palestine”, has its own currency and democratic institutions

    Only downside of this state as far as I can see are that the people are muslims, like most around them (except Ethiopia and South Sudan)

  3. If I had *asked*….the government would have said, “NO,” but only after making me list every thing I own, every penny, every property, and all manner of other things I would have to reveal. They would have made me wait a month or two, asked for more information (things already provided) and then after more time passed, the “No,” would come. Many like me would have been told “no.”

    When some guys were saying “no” to the cheating somalis, the criminals demanded, and threatened to sue. They also threatened the vote thingy….as in, you won’t be getting ours.

    • Both you and Mr. Greenfield are so right in the microscopic examination statement. We know many already wealthy people whose current increased personal wealth is built on PPP $$$$. They had the PPP money before news got out. Anyone we know who actually needed that money could not get a cent. There was always another form or document or certification necessary until there was no money left.

      As to “fraud couldn’t be hidden and couldn’t be seen as anything except fraud” – I’m certain it was an inside job. This must be pursued and prosecuted to the extent of long prison sentences and permanently paupering everyone involved, including passive recipients. We need severe prosecutions of government actors and pursuit of these funds to the ends of this earth or there’s no incentive to refrain.

        From what I have read, and the protests from the lying governor, it seems to me that his pockets might just be bulging. Or maybe off shore accounts might be. Do the Swiss still have those kinds of accounts for hiding money?

    Murderous ALLAH claims MUSLIMS are a greater TERROR than serpentine Allah in Islam’s Qur’an. Allah in Qur’an 59:13 says, “You[Muslims] are a greater terror in their chests than Allah. This is because they[Jews & Christians] are people who do not understand.” Allah in Qur’an 9:29 commands, “Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day. Nor forbid what Allah and his messenger forbid, nor believe in the religion of the truth among those who have given the book until they pay the jizyah out of hand and they are subdued.”

    Islam, its Mosques, its Schools, its Sharia Courts, its Organizations, etc. are Terrorist-Criminal Enterprises of hatred and enmity against all Non-Muslims as totalitarian Islam, the House of Satan, islamizes the society with impunity(Qur’an 5:14; 9:5, 29, 111, etc.). As taught from Islam’s Qur’an, Islam should be banned for its incitement, funding, and promotion of hybrid warfare, violence, terrorism, criminality, hatred, human trafficking, and discrimination against women, children, and Non-Muslims.

    Allah describes Muslim women in Jenna, Allah’s Paradise, as whores of Allah in Qur’an 56:37. Also, Allah stirs hatred against Christians until the resurrection day as Qur’an 5:14 instructs, “And some of those who say, ‘Surely we are Nasara (Christians),’ we took their covenant. So they have forgotten a part of what they were reminded of, so we have stirred up ENMITY and HATRED among them until the resurrection day.   7. It seems too many Somalis have stolen, through fraud, twice as much as the entire Samoli community contributes to the state and economy. Of course, some of that contribution is actually fraud enabled income, so it is worse than it appears.

    The Somalis didn’t just stumble into the opportunity to extract welfare++ money, the Dems taught them how to apply for/maximize assistance payments and the Somalis, with generations of pirate skills, did the rest.

    The Minnesota Somalis, like most orthodox Muslims, protest and claim they are being unfairly blamed when in reality they knew of it and said nothing, benefiting indirectly. Even CAIR unwisely shows up to claim innocence for Muslims and discredits itself when the fraud is beyond redemption.

    Did they not used to do this at Ellis Island back in the day for all the new arrivals. Provide shelter and a job at city hall or on the docks.

A well known proverb by Somalis is ‘Me against my brother, me and my brother against the family, me and my family against the clan, me and my clan against the country, me and my country against the world’. How to do business with such people? Also 100% Islamic. According to the Qur’an Christians and Jews have to be humble and pay the jizya for protection. It is only jizya to them, not theft.

  12. I watched Minnesota Congressman Emmers on a news program yesterday.

    When asked about these schemes, he said he’s been aware of the problem for years and had sent letters (strongly worded letters, no doubt) to various relevant agencies about it.

    IMO, they could have, should have, and likely would have been squelched if he and others had made pertinent public announcements about them.

    I am however not aware of him doing so.
